It does shoot flames. Just not reving it. Ride it and go to 3 or 4th gear. 4k rpm is the sweet spot.. shoots about a foot flame some Times. I got a 2018 cafe Racer. Moded to hell with custom cnc machined parts and carbon fiber everywhere.. love the 803. Sounds absolutely amazing
4 - 4.5 k rpm is indeed the sweet spot for safe driving and engine braking, but if you want to really feel the breeze, the torque and full horsepower kicks in at 7000 rpm +. I got one of these and the cafe racer, Just noticed it is possible i can swop the cafe racer seat with my nightshift seat, which is cool as the cafe seat is blue leather, and will look good on the nightshift, as seen with this brown seat in the one in this video
bike seat looks great. im considering getting a nightshift as well. FAVOR. can you add a link for where you purchased the seat? i cant to seem to find it on the ducati site in korea.
looks like we both did the same thing with the same bike. 'Cept i used a different carbon muffler which enclosed both pipes in a single carbon housing, and kept twin exhaust exits, but sounds just as loud and has a satisfying pop when you let the throttle off
I had a 2019 scrambler icon for a while and installed a akro exhaust on it. It both sounded amazing and made it more powerful. Have fun with the deceleration pops and extra power!
Hi, nice video. My nightshift is arriving next week and I can't wait. I like the Brown leather seat but I prefer the bench style as that is more fitting with the bike, i wonder if they do a flat Brown one like Triumph do? . Your exhaust mod sounds insane but the twin pipes definitely look better. Perhaps there's an aftermarket exhaust that mimics the stock one in appearance but without the noise restrictive baffles?!?
My apologies if you already added a link to the seat. I can't stand the seat on my Scrambler Icon - when I give it the beans, I slide backwards. Plus, I love the look of the seat! Love the sound of the straight pipes. That would never be legal here in CA. I would get pulled over the same day and never be able to get it smogged. So it goes. Safe riding! Love your bike! (I love mine, too). It's my baby that I may keep forever.
Oh heck yes! I have the same bike and am adding a Competition Werkes slip-on. I also added a Corbin gunfighter seat...did not like the stock seat at all. Love the new bike and mods! Wow, that sounds pretty good, bit loud for sure. Subbed!
Man you should have waited a few months for the 2023 refresh of this exact bike.. probably pay about the same money but get all the updates like the tft dash etc
Bike looks sick either way.. this is the only one I’ve ever really liked.. I like the spoked wheels, the subtle paint, and cleaner body panels. It’s a sick bike, that seat looks sick. I’m trying to get the matte navy one I think it’s next years model I’m not entirely sure, looks exactly like this but matte navy.
Honestly I didn’t know when they would be updating to the new generation. I wanted to get a cafe racer styled bike first and then I’ll look into an MT-09 which has all of the new tech.
Yeah it’s kind of like buying a phone or a computer, 3 months after you buy something they announce the new and “vastly improved” one and then release it 3 months after the announcement.

It was like I was watching a video made by an 8 year old who knows very little about anything, but has really cool toys that he likes to brag about. Also, that exhaust is going to Ruin your 'Cool" bikes motor.
Could only watch the video for 10 minutes then had to stop I could just not stand the camera going in and out forward and back with no stops to actually look at the bike the commentary sounded good and interesting but bad video ruined it for me

He can do whatever he likes, no one put you in charge. Vamos! That is one of the nice features of the Ducati Scrambler, you can mod it up so many ways in the home garage
