Uhh, bad cut! But that's sometimes happens with shavettes. One bad motion, and you've cut yourself. And I'm glad you've used a shevette, not a straight. I think shavette's are underrated, but thi truly demonstrates its power.

Usually guys look way worse without the beard but you look good. I would recommend just rocking a very short beard but I suppose your gal has an opinion.

If I were to use a straight razor, I better have 911 on speed dial! I prefer either a beard (#1 choice) or goatee. Don't care for just a mustache, and being clean shaven, I look like I have duck lips!

I would have kept those moustaches, but to be honest last time (Fall 2022) I did the same. My two kids, back then 8 and 6, almost didn't react at all. They just got used to my beard coming and going once in a year I guess :-)

Instead of cutting off the beard after growing it for so long , If the moustache getting in your teeth was the problem then why not just cut it down or cut it off and keep the beard? Makes no sense to completely cut everything off that you been growing for a year. smh
