As far as I know there is no evidence to prove it. But one thing is clear china is unpredictable and preparing for a prolonged war.....we can assume that from their food processing.
Can't say yes yet,not enough evidence ,gut feeling want to say yes,but this is not hang out with friends conversation. I say yes ,Chinese government behind the coup.
Bullshit... of course USA and their allies want to disorganize ASEAN countries , then china gonna have problems . India,as one of the competitor of China, for sure will make profits from this.
I admire the way Ms Palki puts forth the questions in such a way that the truths of the matter itself are brought to the conversations instead of a lot of niceties and PR replies.. This lady deserves our RESPECT Anytime !!! Thank you WION !!
I agree. I wish she was in the sham press conferences given by the White House. She wouldn't let that awful Press Secretary get away with B.S. explanations.
Boy she's a tough interviewer!!!! I love the fact that she brings up NLD's stand on Rohingya Genocide. Also, his comment on China. This news channel is better than CNN!
Regarding the Rohingyas I think that it would be a tough situation for NLD leaders who got smoking guns to their heads all the time to make a move or to take action. The way it looks democracy seems like it is just a shell for myanmar while the core is the military.
But the whole country stands for NLD while the whole world is saying Rohingya .. Rohingya also stands for NLD.. so what??? The problem is not Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.. the problem is the military..
@@nuhtwelynn8225 to an outsider, yes. Burma has an ugly bloody history of ethnic cleansings since 1948. Most of the ethnic groups and leaders feel NLD represents the Burmese. She made her move as a politician to raise nationalism by siding with the Tatmadaw during her testimony. This back fired and she lost creditbility because of it. You can't put the wrongs under the rug and march forward. You'll just have to address them as they come. She made a mistake and it will be a stain in her legacy. At this point, the countrymen have to unite, put their differences and painful memories aside to succeed.
hundreds daily lives has loss in burma international troops is needed to STOP this bloody manslaughter by draconian military junta....please help them nowwwww!!!!
@@arwenundomielles There have been many proofs of china's help during this coup. Tiktok videos of the Chinese military wearing uniforms of Burma army battalion 77 and 33 along with their social media. Also, there are many video proof of them wearing green neck color instead of red to identify themself getting on the Burma convoy, speaking Chinese as well amongst themselves. There are pictures as well taken by local citizens.
Well actually, India is on full silent mode on the current matter just like China because both has benefited immensely partnering with the Mayanmar Military Junta. In the last 4 decade India had conducted many join military excercise, provided multi crore military exchange and perform countless operations with the Burmese Military Junta to crush Northeast Indian Rebels located in the border. India has it's own past history of disturbing humanitarian mishandling situation in it's NE region. On the other hand China is equally and thoroughly getting benefitted in a different fashion. That's why this two influential neighbors has decided to stitched their mouth against the military Junta and just giving lips condemnation or non at this moment when it is massacring it's own population, because tomorrow this two biggis still plans to tender their rice sack full as an when needed. Things are much complicated, diabolical, and more than that meets the media eyes in this region, with both countries having its ulterior agendas with regard to Mayanmar.
I like the interview, as she is critical of answers and will question anyone and everything. That is real journalism which seems to be missing everywhere. well done
The Military is holding the President Hostage even when she was elected, she is always hanging in the balance . Until finally today the people rise up and say to the military enough is enough.
though it's an escalating humanitarian crisis, but how many Myanmar people can India give shelter to? It's not practical. The whole population of Myanmar is against the Junta and not just few stray people. This issue needs resolution at top level. India can only help by lobbying with other countries who stand for democracy to put pressure on Junta.
Geopolitics is not that simple. Myanmar military helped India to prevent northeastern terrorism. Govt. changes but the military remain intact. If India sides with the citizens of Myanmar then India will have another hostile neighbour which we cannot afford. But if India sides with the military then we are no less than China. In this situation, India doesn't have any option but to stay neutral on this matter. As far as, the asylum thing concerned we can delay it but cannot deny it.
You know, it's quite ironic that the world's largest Democracy is sacrificing the right to democracy, to the people of Myanmar. And that too, for its own interests

That lady should be more polite. She was treating the Ambassador as if she were his boss. Rohingas are not Myanmar ethnicity. They are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. Will India also protect the illegal immigrants? Should have empathy.
They were brutally murdered as stated by the ambassador. This begs the question, why support the armys misdeeds when in power? Arent they just trying to cling on to the power instead of standing up for the people?
@@VikasKumar-nz1rf Yes, Bangladesh India need to come up with joint statement ,india should take the lead. Bangladesh will follow India. India supported us during genocide in Bangladesh in 1971, India- Bangladesh should also come forward to help Myanmar for the sake of humanity, not to take benefit like China, China is the main supporter of Myanmar military.
@Ball Ball Asean itself is under autocratic regime. Thai with Chan o-cha, Cambodia under Hun Sen, Vietnam is communist themselves, Brunei under absolute monarchy of Bolkiah family, Malaysia also under illegitimate goverment of Muhyiddin..
@Alex Kks True bro,,,,bcz if military exist in the power in longer time they will take revenge on India by helping its north-eastern separatists,, they will collude with China,,,,Same for Bangladesh. The problem is that Bangladesh and India can not trust also suu kyi (based on her past betrayal), bcz we dont know if suu kyi free agian, she may again make love with Military,,, it will backfire for the security of Bangladesh and India border.
Thank you so much for the awesome work you are bringing us, the straight up and direct approach is very refreshing and very effective. I appreciate your work on the situation in my country, Canada, and the dire state of the political arena. This Dr. had me until I noticed the UN envoy shingle behind the name at which point he had lost his credibility in my opinion. Blessings to all from Canada.
U do know right, that India was one of the 8 nations that attended that military parade last week in support of junta that killed 145+ civilians the same day. China, pakistan nd russia were also in those 8 countries 🙄
China may want a stable neighbor but a thriving democracy next door can be a threat to their system in the future, so what is better for China? In the long run, a dictatorship in Myanmar is preferred by China for sure.
I am so sorry for our leader Dr. Sa Sa being interviewed like a criminal by a news reporter while seeking for justice for the people of Myanmar and asking possible help from neighbouring countries. May the Lord gives you strength to you Dr. Sa Sa to be able to stand against all insults. You are doing it for the people and justice, we know.
Bravo Dr Sa Sa. All that unpleasant things happened in Myanmar was bec of the Military obviously. No one hold such powers to destroy people's lives except them. Rohingya should blame on Military but instead they blame on Democratic leaders which they're missing out of resources and misunderstanding. If we are aren't united this time, Rohingya will be their next target again.
No he will never afraid Becoz of our Lord Jesus Christ Protect him and he trust in God...For a good Christian & Jesus Christ believer we don't scare of dying..we only scare for God who can destroy the whole world and who can kill the soul and send in Hell....We don't scare of Human who kill the body but after life can't do anything...But our God is always Powerful...Plzz Pray for Myanmar Nations🙏The whole world need to Pray for Myanmar People to stop violence 😈🙏🤕🤕🤕🤧🤧🤢
The genocide of the Rohingya people was a terrible stain on the history of Burma. It was the same military General who orchestrated and carried out this and other ethnic cleansing operations that is now responsible for this coup and the continued murder of peaceful, innocent and unarmed civilians. Does anyone for one moment imagine that this General is going to hold free and fair elections and give up his dictatorship? Does he really believe that he can run a country in which he and his military are hated by the vast majority of the population? It should be realised that the majority of protesters today are the young generation who were too young to know what what was happening at the time of the Rohingya genocide, given too that the military junta even then controlled internet access and the media. The only success of this coup has been to unite almost all of the people of Myanmar. The younger generation are much more accepting of the inclusion of all ethnic groups into the democracy of Burma (Myanmar) and are much more savvy in getting their message out to the world. But, the world needs to listen and react. It is obvious that sanctions and words mean nothing to this General, who will be even more determined not to lose face. This young generation must be given the support of everyone around the world in their struggle to achieve freedom from brutal military rule, for which they are willing to sacrifice their life. For a country to have a military force and a police force whose sole purpose is the suppression and killing of its own people in order to support the power and wealth of the generals is totally unacceptable in this day and age. Save Myanmar!
I don’t think she understands what’s really going on in Myanmar. Only our Burmese people can truly understand. She is very rude and disrespectful how she interview Dr. Sa Sa.
No, it's not! She pointed out the right thing. Dr Sa Sa also made a clear answer which is true. But we should not cover or hide our own faults against humanity. We gonna win this!

We should support Myanmar like we had supported Bangladesh back in 1971... let's have a fully democratic country in our neighbourhood. QUAD can do a greater role here to maintain its influence in Indo- Pacific region without fearing China..
The hostess:"Do you see a hand of China?" Ambassador:"China is not happy, a stable neighbor is as important for China as for India."(He is trying to make the hostess as an Indian to empathize, in order to show that China and India are both against the "coup") The hostess:"I'm not talking about India, I asked specific questions about China", "Is China behind"… Ambassador:"China is also not happy". The hostess:"How Do you know?" Ambassador:"Clearly expressed." What kind of answer indeed does the wion hostess want?… Ridiculous and a bit vicious...
She is asking the guy’s sources. This is the first time it was heard that China wants to resolve the issue. Because in reality we all saw that china took part in the military celebrations. So obviously the journalist (not hostess, those are found in planes) would ask this question, the diplomat has twisted his words before on the rohingya issue as well. So the reporter was just doing her job.

Biography of Rana Plaza worker, On Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 7:45 in the morning, it was a huge noise. Then the electricity went off. After that, we could not see anything there. No one comes. It was very hot. How many people died for water? I shouted for water. No one gave me water. Finally, I offered my life. There was no one inside to say that. I told my mind not to lose courage and maybe I will not survive. But whoever fights to save his life will either survive or die. We were trapped inside, there were 18 people with me, I just survived, I was wearing the brain of Faisal in my closed Faisal and now I can't forget that memory. How hard it is to survive and have to drink blood for lack of water. Someone's rot has come out of the side with Duke upas, someone's hand is stuck, someone's leg is stuck. Someone is saying cut me off, but I want to live, but I think if I had died, I would have survived. It was good to die that day. Now I understand that everyone comes to see the death of Eknid. No one comes to see the death of every day. I may not be able to explain to anyone that we are living a miserable life, but I did not want to dive into the Rana Plaza. The owner of the garments pushed us inside the Rana Plaza. I was on the 6th floor of Newwebstal Ltd. Garments. Later, I lost my genes. There are many more things. Ordinary people take me out from inside the fire service and take me to the Border General Hospital. He was admitted to the college hospital and kept there for some time, then he was brought to CRP. He was admitted here. After receiving treatment here, I am in a wheelchair. At first, I was admitted for 18 days. I can't walk without Elbokest I am crippled and disabled due to a Rana Plaza murder case. Our compensation was not reimbursed. Because the owner of that building was the leader of the Awami League's Juba League. He used to hold procession meetings with the workers to tell us There was no job because of the oppression of the garment owners, 2500 workers were injured for fear of losing their jobs and salary attendance bonus, 1138 people were killed and 300 workers were missing. I want justice, I want compensation, I want rehabilitation. The government of Bangladesh does not have the responsibility of the workers yet Rana Plaza workers beg and get treatment. Treatment and pain.
Indian CAN. We already freed Bangladesh from the genocide of Pakistan long back in 1971. That was an era when even telephones were not a thing. Imagine what we could do today. The question is, should we be alone in this?
Wind is changing.. Myanmar military will not survive, and India has chosen the wrong side aligning with china and Russia who Vitoed to help Myanmar in UN meeting.
Why India helping military coup huunnh When Dr Sa sa said that about for India You show your anger If you are a good person you don't need to show your anger You have to calm down And speak politely with our Dr Sa sa okay !
The lady does not know that the guy is not raised by Burmese military father. Yet, India was one of the country that hold hands with Burmese military dictator. If the Burmese military wasn't supported by neighbor countries, they wouldn't have those jets, tanks, warship, etc. Rohingya was not the first and last that was targeted as genocide by Burmese military. The number of other ethanic people that were and being killed by Burmese military is uncountable. Yet, these ethanic minorities have their defense organizations, otherwise thier existences will be in museum as the dictator promised. If you said the Burmese military should keep killing their own people due to Aung San Su Kyi's defense, then think again. Not just the Burmese are dying and it is not pleasent to live under military dictatorship, especially the Burmese military.
The question is will India help. We all know Myanmar needs help and we have been saying this from the second week of Feb but will the modi government help or ignore like they usually do
Indian govt won't intervene...it is not in India's interest. This is geopolitics. It is not based on morality it just cares for the national interest. If you want to know the reasons I can tell you...
First, I would deeply apologize to the people of Rohingya for what has been done if I were Sasa. And then prevented the past mistakes for what has been done so it would not repeated again.
Myanmar envoy repeatedly telling her that china is not happy, she is repeating the question and changing the mode of sentence several times to get a negative comment. You fool!!!! do you want things to escalate? Do you have any shame? Miss/Mrs. Anchor?
Dr. SaSa answered so well. But he should have said even though we got democracy, Military was never under the Govt. They never wanted to stay under govt and get ruled. That's pretty realistic imo. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Seems like the so called democracy was also controlled by the military to a very large extent. Hope the real democracy prevails in myanmar. We stand by the people of myanmar
Burmesse army and burmesse aung San suu kyi is just playing the game, they have done this many many times , when burmesse army have no where to go, they are using aung San suu kyi trust me , democracy from aung San suu kyi was only in ragoon, nay pyi daw and mandalay where it's burmesse territorial, in other nationalty state, burmesse army always making problem to other nationalty and aung San suu kyi always trying to cover this burmesse army and she acting in the Media like she is for democracy
I fully agree with DR.Sasa, absolutely right, what had happened about Rohingya Minority got nothing To do with His Party NDP Leader and his colleagues, those killing appetite was done by Junta Army completely. Yes, NDP tried to do what they can just To stay in Myanmar Parliament and they taught by saved guard junta from International Crimes they can get a way with it, but instead different now, for me NDP completely innocent the real culprit was JUNTA Army 100%.
I agree with the guest one should not connect Rohingya issue with the coupe just because the military regime. This happened because of the communist army
This is highly unacceptable. A democratic govt can't be thrown away by The Army like this. Myanmar Army should be coerced to restore normalcy and democracy in the country again
Look at the face of Dr. Sasa how it changed from smiling to wtf face. The 2017 massacre is haunting them. You stepped on the tale of their so called democratic govt, good job Madam !
Your wrong , because back then before this coup d Etat , Aung San Sun Kyi was threading a very thin line . Either having opportunities to slowly or say tough word then and expect to be dethroned and incarcerated. But now people has awakened they already has enough of military oppression and are more than willing to sacrifice their lives for a democratic Myanmar. This long wait has finally awakened the majority’s. Now is the chance to change for a better and democratic Myanmar.
