table saws and skil saws always scared me more then my radial arm saw, you can always see the blade and if your hand isn't in it's path , even if it runs across the board, there's not much the blade can do. the big problems is morons ripping a board and feeding the board from the wrong direction. anyone killed by it is just the gene pool weeding out the idiots
