I love those colors, hopefully Strandberg releases more like this. I don't really like flame maple but these looks absolutely fantastic

I do like a good solid color as well. But if they did a teal green flame or curly maple top, I would be a sucker for it.

What a gorgeous color. Enjoy!! I adore my two Strandbergs: A NX Fusion with buttery smooth Suhr pickups and a NX Metal 7 with amazing Fishmans. So many different sounds. In love with both.

Honestly, the drip sounds like it’s on point. 👌🏼👌🏼 I’m going through an orange phase right now as well. But this is not the start of it, more like the peak of it. hahaha. I had already bought orange phone case, orange office chair, orange wallet, orange playing cards haha

Great review man! I really like your style making these videos. 👍🏻 You are right! The video doesn’t show how orange this thing is! 😂 I got the Chambered Swamp Ash 8-string version of this and it is 100% perfect. I really like the OEM pickups. They are in there to stay. Mine had that same odd black dirt on it as well. Cleaning gets it away luckily. Congrats for your new Headless!

No dents in the zero fret. I checked after watching your video. I think, that few strokes with 0000 Steel Wool on that zero fret should fix the problem. But I know, that it is little irritating, that you have to do it on a new guitar...@@Plant_Based_Riffs

@@dropthesun Yeah, I agree. BUT it’s not the worst problem to have. even a new fret wouldn’t be so bad if it’s done well. Fixable problems are just part of the deal sometimes.

Update: Mine is actually 95% perfect. I noticed, that the painting on the body has minor uneven areas, that can be seen in a certain angle (glossy vs matte differences). Also the feel on that matte area is little rugged. Well, it is a ”B-stock body”, so something like this is to be expected. Not a dealbreaker for me. It is actually hard to notice, but it is there.

its weird how common the dent on the zero fret is, they even have a guide on their website about how to sand it down its so common, I had it on my strandberg as well, awesome vid by the way!

Yeah that's crazy, I own 3 Strandbergs and 2 of them came with dents on either the G, B or high E string. I hope they figure out the source of the issue and fix it for future productions.

I bought a Strandberg Plini Edition 3 times with the problems with the freets, and that problem also comes with the tremolo. exactly where the rope rests, on the 3rd purchase I solved it with sandpaper and a little polishing cream to perfect exactly those parts, but my question is how long will this last? I don't know if it's the beginning of my love and hate for the freet zero

No over tone - likely because it's headless? I was actually curious if you were going to end up getting the USA Aaron Marshall guitar(s). This this is amazing looking, I love the Very Orange(tm) in combination with the maple fretboard. So good!

Could be because of having no headstock, but I also have numerous guitars with headstocks that don’t have any crazy overtone on palm muted strings. I may get a USA AM model, but we’ll have to peep that price point. I reckon they’ll be $2800-3200, which is pretty pricey for a painted body, but the jury will be out until I have played one.

How would it get those defects in the 0fret unless it was used? Those are from wear right?

@@JungYT If the guitar suffers any kind of impact on the string, even while in the case, it can dent the fret.

I haven’t actually solved it yet, but I can imagine that using some steel wool and some Care will take care of it. There is an article on the Strandberg website about how to take care of the same issue. As of right now, it hasn’t really bothered me.

Congrats on the new guitar, that Orange is really beautiful. Bummer that there's a slight flaw on your new purchase. As an owner of an Orange RG, I always be on the lookout for orange coloured guitars that I might buy in the future. Though, as much as I love orange coloured guitars, I doubt I'll be ever be able to get one of these, if they're truly limited. Heck, I've been trying to save up for the Ibanez Q54, ever since it was announced and released, I don't even have half the needed funds for the Q54, let alone being anywhere near the funds for a RESQ:D model. 🥲 Guess I'll just keep playing my RG for the meantime. 😀

Yeah, it's a great RG, it was a NOS guitar from 2013, and for almost 7 years, no one attempted to buy it, until I put down a deposit for it in late 2019, have been playing it for 3 years now. Even the maple fretboard is stained, due to the amount of time I've put in on it (no to mention it is in a dire need of professional setup, haven't done it due financial constraint 😂). I use it for all sorts of genre, thanks to the very versatile SD P-Rails that I decided to put in, in fact, I uploaded a short-ish video of me attempting Sentient Glow of Periphery few days ago. *_Shameless Plug!_* 😉😆
