About 60 years ago in Montana, some coworkers high centered a jeep on a stump way back in the woods. No cell phones then. They ended up chopping at the stump until they could get off. A long day for them. Not recommended.

Wet frozen snow is slicker than snot on clay mud. I’ve been stopped in the driveway with wet ice and 4 wheel drive. Bag of sand got me out. Oregon has some really tricky terrain: clay mud, thaw and freeze ice more akin to a three foot deep Circle K icee than snow, and much of it is about straight up and down. Beautiful area!! I lived in Hood River. Miss it. Enjoy the videos!!

Good idea not turn off engine when in the middle of nowhere, but then you went off and left the vehicle with the windows up. Defeats the purpose if you do not check the locks. Some vehicles locks are on relays and automatic. Lower the windows also. Or you could just use a rock to unlock it.

I agree with your friend when he said you should invest into editing your videos more. The audio in the fast-forwarded parts felt like a missed opportunity for some upbeat music and clips (minus the skewed audio) of a beautiful journey. Which I'm sure you had! BTW absolutely love your Queensland dog!
