Do you ever add ropes, chains, wires, or other long thin and flexible objects to your scenes? Strands is a GeoNode Asset Library, containing a set of modular modifiers to help you do exactly that. The modifiers assist with placing curves in your scene, appending additional details to them, and meshing those curves into ropes, braids, or chains.

I'll skip time talking about how cool the functionality appears and focus solely on the branding and presentation. I really appreciated the clear iconography of your nodes with clear and consistent colors that make the functionality clear from the images. One of the first things I noticed here was the different color coding, separating this from your other nodes. I look forward to how you'll deploy the eventual gizmo geometry nodes integration. Your content will make w perfect example for how to deploy them outside of simple object manipulation.

Thanks! I really appreciate that you noticed all that. I put a lot of effort into the branding, which at times can feel silly since the tools work the same without it, but it is a very important part of making a good product. Gizmos should be sick, imagine being able to edit all the important parameters in the viewport...

@@looseEdges With geonodes and gizmos, projects like yours could enable a new class of user into Blender. That class of users that can focus on blocking and layout, with limited modeling required. Enabling non-modelers will be required if we're ever to get to massive numbers of 3D/virtual environments. Would you be interested in running a design competition using your nodes? You could ask the entrants for feedback or to share screencaps of their design process to help improve your nodes.
