I like the concept of no markers. There are no records at all of whom is buried there? Awesome fence and door. Were you able to tour the small town? That was an interesting find.
Probably had some kind of small inground markers and records at their church. They would needed to do something to avoid digging where they had already buried someone. It is indeed a very unique place.
@@florarix7091 I can only imagine what the Church looked like, given the workmanship of the cemetery. Why only 100 in a 10 year span. Are they all laying 10 feet in from and along the fence. I think this a job for Faces of the Forgotten.
It was their Religious practice as a "Harmonist" Society to not use grave markers . The lone marker stone in the graveyard was actually for the son of the Harmony Society founder though. That is a mystery ,not sure, maybe his son didn't believe in their customary practice of no headstone markers. as far as the small town we have some more stuff to do there there is an interesting Backstory to this Harmony Society.
