Strange Supreme VS Captain Carter Final Fight | What If? Season 2 Episode 9 

What irritates me is that Strange Supreme was almost equal to the entirety of the infinity stones wielded by one person, and this is supposed to be a considerable time later, so he should be even more powerful. They should never even come close to beating him.

Y’all remember when Hulk, a character that is immune to gamma, was literally groaning of pain wearing the infinity gauntlet which Banner himself said majority of the radiation is GAMMA. And Captain Carter just took all of them inside her hand, she should’ve just blown up

Next thing they'll show is Captian Carter defeating the Living Tribunal 💀

I like how Carter embraces her Britishness by taking treasures from other realities.

Captain Carter was plenty likeable in season 1. Seeing her return to fight the hydra stomper was cool. Watching her clown Loki and the Destroyer and go toe to toe with Thor was a bit of an eye roller. But watching her lose all the magic props and still get the better of Strange by simply throwing hands at him? That's beyond absurd.

Strange is flying half the fight but as soon as he actually needs to fly he can’t

I don't usually criticize fight scenes, but I don't get how Carter can even wield all the stones with no problem. Heck, Strange Supreme should've wiped the floor with them, and anyone who watched S1 would know this.

Strange Supreme at this point should be even stronger than the stones or any of the artifacts, hell he couldve known the secrets of the Darkhold too, given the number of entities and demons he possessed...but then again this is Disney Marvel. Season 1 was awesome then this is just disappointing

There's still one thing I can't understand. There were much discussion about just how Peggy was able to wield all of the Infinity Stones and how her alliance with Kohorty was a gamechanger - it's all can be explained, yes. I have another question - how in the Nine Realms vibranium still able to withstand all the power of Strange Supreme and not even crack? Must I remind that equal shield was broken by Thanos with just his blade and physical strength? And Thanos WAS actually defeated by Strange Supreme, we saw it in the same episode!

Kahori has part of the power of one stone and she somehow had enough power to almost defeat strange herself? Marvel needs to get there game together and fast.

How can Captain Carter tank a blast from the destroyer? Captain America couldn’t. That blast is powerful enough to hurt and potentially kill Thor. Also, how is she using all of the infinity stones without any damage? Hulk couldn’t even do that. They should have had Hela beat Strange, that would have at least been believable. Someone over at what if has a hard on for Haley Atwell. Her strongest form should be equal to Captain America. She isn’t equal to Thor or Hulk on her best day.

Strange had powered up so much he wasn’t hurt in the least by any of the attacks, even a direct strike from all the infinity stones barely managed to stun him long enough to lose control of the demons he absorbed, the only thing that could even kill him was the forge that he made, and he chose to go willingly.

I'm glad this episode happened. Now we have context for just how bad a multiversal conflict can get with all the tools that Marvel has. And keep in mind, this would only be a skirmish. How bad would all-out war be?

It doesnt make any sense how dr strange was able to capture more powerful villians like infinity gauntlet Thanos, ultron,hela and what not but couldnt beat kahouri and carter. And carter just punched her away out to beat strange

Powers levels are so shitty.

When you look at it, no male character simply has superpowers, he either invents them himself: Iron Man or goes through a very difficult path and acquires that superpower: Supreme strange. What about female characters? He is given super power from somewhere, and he masters that power without going through any path.

This is probably a universe where simple basic fighting logic does not apply

TBH, I can buy Carter being able to wield a lot of the things she does in this episode, namely the infinity stones since it has been established since Loki Season 1 that their power and usability depends on the universe in question and you could theoretically afford to add more if they’re not at full power. That being said however, I feel like the priority was making all this a spectacle without thinking about how it works narratively later (which is Strange because other episodes balanced both very well). This really isn’t something you can’t do just because you can and completely expect everyone to follow.

Marvel is just taking Ls after Ls since phase 4. If they can't make creative ideas on a literal "choose your own adventure" type of show... Then there is no hope but to reboot everything past phase 3. Like c'mon, this show now has become a missed opportunity.

Damn. Now Loki is pretty much the only good thing Disney marvel has produced. What if was pretty good on S1, but this fight just takes everything marvel has built up over the years and throws it out the window. Strange, who can apparently just eat mjölnir, is unable to leave even a scratch on Carter's puny vibranium shield. Carter, who is shown to die by getting sliced in half on MoM by having her shield thrown at her, is now suddenly able to grab the 6 stones with her bare hands and leave unscathed. Also, lets be real, strange should've smoked these girls lmao. There's ways to make girlboss characters and ways not to. Wonder Woman is an example of this. Heck, even S1 Carter is pretty cool. But suddenly she can beat Strange Supreme? I'm not buying it. As for Carter's sidekick on this scene, sure, I understand her backstory and everything (albeit it's not historically accurate at all), but hey, we gotta critizise imperialism, don't we? Thing is, they picked the only country that actually issued laws which protected the natives on the newly discovered lands lmao. If you insist on having a female character defeat Strange, let it be someone who can believably do that, like Hela or someone else. This scene doesn't leave me thinking: Wow, what an awesome fight! This female character is now one of my fav heroes. It leaves me thinking: Damn, that sucked. I liked Carter but the writers destroyed the character here in an attempt to make *another* woke female character.

I think the thing that disappointed me the most about this fight is the fact it’s a considerable step down in creativity compared to Ultron. Like there’s still a handful of moments that are super creative, but like Ultron and Strange were throwing new attacks out every time. Like they still created beams and what not, but it was once in a blue moon while this was 75% beams.
