The first run of Moonwalker also had Thriller on the sound test menu, but Sega had to remove it for licensing issues. So that version is super saught after, same with the version of Sonic Spinball that played the Sonic Theme on the title screen. Also, if you like Lawnmower Racing, check out Wreckfest, the first level literally has you running people over with them in a demolition derby.

LSD is a game I would highly recommend not sleeping on. The game is actually based off Lovely Sweet Dream, a dream journal by Hiroko Nishikawa. The dreams are generated in an almost procedural kind of fashion by what objects or things or creatures you interact with or of who interact with you, then the dream is placed on a chart signifying 'Upper' or 'Downer' or even 'Static' or 'Dynamic'. The key and interesting part of this is that there's so little documentation that the dreams begin to glitch and fragment in a way that I'm not sure if it's intentional or the game is just freaking out - either way - it's totally worth checking out at least on your own accord. I'd love to see you tackle a video if you see anything of note. It's just such a tripped out freaky little anomaly. Praise the algorithm, subbed.

I used to go to a friend's house about 5 years ago to drink and smoke with my mates. His only console was a PS2 with an old crt TV and all we played where worms and James pond on the PS2. We had some good and dark times in that house.

The moomwalker plot is quite literally: Mr Big (probably a pretty smol dude) wants to get all the kids addicted to drugs and MJ has to stop him. The end.

Use the same .config file as for the other tony hawk games and Disney Extreme Skate Adventure will run perfectly on your modded PS3. Great video BTW :D

One obscure port I never hear anyone talk about is Dead Space for Android and IOS. You might be surprised to hear it's not a port, it's actually a prequel, you might also be surprised to hear it's pretty darn good. It's slick touch controls have yet to be emulated or surpassed by any first or third person shooter available on the Android platform, and it does this without really dumbing down Dead Space's combat at all.

The old Midway Sports games are amazing. They are hella fast and responsive. I’m not a real fan of American Football, but I enjoy Blitz immensely. The basic concept of Mr. Domino is hell addicting, but it’s also a very hard game. What you’re trying to do is have a domino fall on the raised switches called “trick tiles” which cause an animation to play with an object ending up on the track. If another chain of dominos is placed where that object lands (indicated by rippling “hint tiles”) that chain will be knocked over. If that chain ends on a trick tile, a bonus is awarded and the cycle repeats until the chain is broken or all trick tiles have been hit (you win the latter case)

Graffiti Kingdom is loads of fun- the custom content that people have made with the ingame modeler is downright astounding. I wish I still had my copy of the game because it's super expensive now. I highly recommend you also check out its predecessor, Magic Pengel, if you're able. It's got the same "build your own 3D characters" mechanic but the gameplay is more of a rock-paper-scissors like battle system rather than a beat-em-up. It's difficult to explain. Also, ZUN of Touhou Project fame worked on the game and a little bootleg Reimu can be found among the creatures in the game's bestiary.

I loved Biofreaks. I played it a lot as a kid. Wargods for ps1 was another strange fighting game that is worth taking a look at.

21:22 How has this game never got a modern version with character sharing support i will never understand it would gain a fanbase these days and it's owned by Square Enix too. It was also the first game outside Japan to Officially have a Touhou character in since the Creator of that series worked on it. A new game in the series is planned but it is going to be a Japan only Free to Play Mobile title and just a turn based RPG what a waste of a good series.

Slugfest sounds AWESOME! I love those Midway adaptations of sports games...they make them so much more FUN! Blitz was pretty awesome...they take sports games and add more substance to them...This is like NBA Jam but baseball instead of basketball...which of course was also made by Midway....i'm gonna have to get that game

Great video. I had a similar situation happen to me with cheap gameboy's. I purchased 2 GBC, one see through & the other a green variant, for 50¢ each at Goodwill. They were in end cap with women's purses. I kept the sticker on the screen for a long time before gave in & ripped them off cause I wanted to play Mega Man.

Midway sports games are THE sports games for both fans and non-fans alike! It's one of the few series of football games I actually play, aside from 2K on the Dreamcast.

Oh, BCV. I actually played it few years ago, history how I got it is... kind of weird. When I was young my uncle bought me ps2 together with some great games, like Medal of Honor Frontline, Def Jam Fight for NY, NfS Underground 2 and... BCV for some reason. I've played it once but back then I didn't really speak English and the gameplay wasn't interesting, so I put it off. But few years ago, when I was playing my ps2 one last time before selling it, I've tried playing BCV and... I actually finished it. To my surprise it was fun. Not the game, game was awful. But the cutscenes played like a good anime and I enjoyed watching them. I also thought the plot is good. I don't remember much about it sadly, but I remember the plot twist. Boy it blew my mind back then. Today I probably wouldn't enjoy this game's plot as much as I did back then (considering that back then I even thought Mirai Nikki is one of the best anime ever... yeah, scary times) but I still got fond memories of it.

NHL Hitz was insanely good, NFL Blitz and NBA Jam were also really good series on the Genesis, would reccomend these games to anyone.

matt I... I didn’t say anything on the contrary? I said it looked cool and weird. Cool because woah, it can run on the GBC and weird because woah, it can run on the GBC. What’s also weird is that the game could run on the GBC but not on the NES or even the SNES? They could have done with they did with the GBC port but on those consoles instead of making their own garbage version of it

As soon as you said that NFL Blitz was done by this team, it suddenly all made sense as to why Slugfest is such a great game. Shame that EA basically couldn't stand any competition and bought out the licensing rights for Baseball, Football and Hockey to make utterly boring and bog-standard sports titles every year, because I will tell you right now that Blitz is also absurd, to the point of being able to turn the controlled player into Mortal Kombat characters, as an example.

So BIO Freaks had some Time Killers stuff going for it. Neato. Also you have a Gameboy Player for your Cube that works? Sweet! I either need a disc or a softmod for my GameCube to get mine working, but I want to because I own two copies of Hajime No Ippo for GBA and a big screen is a great way to play it.

with the Freeway game, the version I played resets the player to the beginning if you're hit by a car, though that could be something that is changed with the player difficulty selection?

You said you downloaded the rom for LSD from the internet to play on Dreamcast Bleem, but that box looks like an official western rerelease that used Bleem. Was that a custom boxart you made/downloaded? If not, then do you know if the rerelease was official or not?

Yeah, I was questioning this, as well, since the Dreamcast version of BLEEM only supported 3 games: Tekken 3, Metal Gear Solid, -Resident Evil,- Gran Turismo (sorry, my brain forced me to reference the song "My Console" by Eiffel 65)

Is Serious Sam 2 considered strange? Never played it myself but I remember that once I was talking with my uncle and he told me that one of the GPUs he bought came with the game and it was actually really fun, I assumed it was just a comedic FPS.

I have MLB slugfest 2004 and its the best sports game ever. let's go mortal kombat team! The cheats were insane. You can play as small headed dolphins in atlantis vs. tiny killer clowns with clubs instead of bats

Some of the stranger games in my collection, I suppose would be... Driver: San Fransisco a few Earth Defense Force titles some early HyperDimension Neptunia games the Metal Gear saga (Hey, it counts, right?) Naughty Bear Lollipop Chainsaw Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard Tokyo Xanadu eX+ (it has one of the strangest disclaimers I've ever seen) Spooky's House of Jump Scares Epic Battle Fantasy 4 Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale Brutal Legend Serious Sam II *But my strangest game of all would have to be... THE PAC PACK.*

Superimposing MJ over Mario is one thing...but Sonic!!! You have crossed a line thought not possible before! Have at you... The announcer for Slugfest is from NBA Jam! That guy is absolutely great. I personally hate baseball but I love hockey and football. Both NHL Hitz and NFL Blitz are fantastic. They're far more ridiculous than the baseball game if you can believe it. No rules to games that are violent by definition and you have an insane game. Man, I hate EA so much for taking this away from us....the bastards. Something I thought I would never hear in my life...Serious Sam 2 is strange. The entire series is off the wall insanity that really has no rhyme or reason at all. It's a great series that is due for a huge comeback with some of the newer engines created today. Can you imagine how batshit crazy a bew Series Sam would be without all of those old limitations. Forget enemies popping in after you kill a certain number...we could have literal armies of dinosaurs with miniguns, suicide guys, aliens, zombies, and everything thrown together at once in a giant free for all slugfest. You could have Doom in fighting times a thousand. I want this now!

Before sports games were consumed by EA the Sports genre could be as creative or as straight forward as they liked and a lot of them were very humorous and inventive. Unfortunately sports fans place more value on just having the latest roster so they continue to sell well under the EA brand despite being worse from a mechanical standpoint every year.
