So, with serious efforts, "an old dog can learn new tricks" That's coming from the many examples you have proven with your Bound Angels. A very important message I get from what you say about our having successful relationships with dogs, is how well we connect with them. And, good connections means proper care and sufficient training, are minimum obligations. The meaningful and deeper ways we can make connections with our dogs, is to take good care of ourselves. When we manage our health and home situations adequately, our dogs benefit. I believe, and have lived the lesson for more than 39 years that dogs are intelligent and attuned to the conditions in their environment, and to the emotional states of their "pack", especially, the "pack" leader. A stressful, mismanaged, inconsistent household is not conducive to achieving optimum connections with our beloved dogs.

Get a competent rehabber of troubled dogs. It is NOT a DIY project. and a electronic collar is not a 'shock collar'.... the Innotek and similar ones went out in the early 1990s and I had one.... strictly an aversive.

Robert - My husband and I recently got a giant schnoodle (mostly Schnauzer) she is one of the most mellow pup I've ever seen. She is 11 weeks old and unlike most puppies, rarely gets excited. She refuses to walk with us on a leash, even when we sweetly lure her with food and treats. Is there a trick for getting a puppy to follow you and train her when she isn't as interested in the food, particularly when we walk her? She is good with other training - sit, lay, etc...but refuses to walk on a leash.

I have the same. My dog is all good until she is on the leash. The she behaves very fearful. I tried to get her used to the leash, not even putting it on but rewarding her with food if she even looks at the leash or touch it wirh her nose. I tried several leashes, but no success so far.

My dog is pushing around her food, her food dish, or anything in the area. She noses it around every time before she eats and even while eating. She even play with the food, as a result the food will be wasted. What should I do? Thanks.

Hi Robert great video again. I am recieving a black GSD in 2 months time (not just for Christmas). What methods can I employ to reduce the chance of him getting hip displaysia. German shepherd man doesn’t let his dogs jump off of high places for the first 6 months🤔.

Great Video Robert, I currently have a 4 month old German Shepherd Dog and he nips me till I bleed sometimes but I try to redirect him to his chew toy which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. My question is if he bites this hard now, Would this be good for the future such as putting him into shows that include biting or do I have to make him tone it down a notch with obedience training. He will circle me like a shark try to nip me to get a reaction.

Denny ... you might think about tug, chase, fetch, obedience training and a big leg bone from the butcher. It might be play, both my GSDs s went thru a modest mouthy chewy stage about then. Find active ways to play where you are not the chew toy. It’s not too early to learn the word No.

Bobandjeri Shaffer Thanks for the reply, oh he knows the word NO but he’s still a little stubborn as I got him 1 month ago and I want him to get used to everything, other than this problem everything is great we managed potty training in 1 week.
