Stranger of Paradise: Different Future Story Recap & How It Connects to DISSIDIA 

I would like to see a Stranger of Paradise sequel that follows the actual Warriors of Light. Like start it with defeating the 4 Fiends and Chaos Garland, then have Jack's final words explain the true threats to their world and the greater Final Fantasy Metaverse as well. Maybe even have Gilgamesh as that games Astos. Honestly if this does connect to Dissidia then I would actually really want an Omega Force sequel where, instead of the SoulsBorne action, it's a Musou style button masher where you're dealing with waves of enemies.

To me, to follow the journey of Kuja would be just... SO good. To his creation on Terra, his arrival on gaia with Zidane, his manipulations behind the scene. It would be sooo interesting.

I would absolutely love an Emperor-centered game he's my favorite irredeemable bastard of the series and losing all his powers and clawing his way back up to godhood is kinda exactly what happened to him in II, so following him along would be very fun. I'm also very biased because I miss playing with his Duodecim traps.

I always wanted a garland game after maining him in all 3 dissidias. Never would've imagined that it'd come true but here we are!

I would love an Origins sequel centered around Kefka. All we really know about him is he was a normal guy who suddenly went crazy.

If a sequel is released, I hope it's in the world of Final Fantasy 4, and we play as Cecil Harvey before the start of the original game. Would be neat to see Golbez' origins and what kind of missions Cecil went on with Kain. They could also expand on the powers of the Dark Knight within FFIV

I didn't know there was DLC. Just finished the game last weekend. I got bored about halfway through, so I put it on easy just to finish the story, because aside from some (very intentional) cringe dialog, I found the story to be awesome. This DLC is pretty cool sounding too. I wish they'd use the Pixel Remaster engine and build a version of this that plays like FF1. I'd play that again and again.

Just wanna point out that the "Crossing time" line is a nod to the FFI, the line is stated as well in FFI ending even without Jack Garland's POV. I think the line is supposed to refer to the player not the characters. I think Jack Garland there is nodding towards the player as a thank you, hence he look at the centre of the screen.

I believe atm they are aluding to the idea that while there are different dimensions. "time" does not exist between those dimensions, meaning no matter how far in the past or future of dimension "A" you are, it won't have any effect on how far time has progressed in dimension "B". Despite this, the dimensions can influence each-other. Dissidia is a outcome that came to pass due to the events that started in Dimension (Final Fantasy) 1. Due to the conclusion of the events in Dimension Dissidia, its consequences bleed over towards other dimensions. Those effects can be seen in Dimension 1, where Jack's story is slightly knocked off its historic course. Jack will still create the cycle, but slightly different from how he likely originally did so. hence why they mention he might not be the same Garland. He is the same Garland (person) but not the same Garland in the sense of the future self he will become, due to changes in his percent. Meaning classic Garland will never come to pass. The interesting part about the dimensions not being connected in terms of time makes it very interesting, as it means they can effect each-other's possible future while creating a functional paradox that won't collapse time. Though they will erase what we perceive as "history" (Jack's future after Stranger's of Paradise) within Dimension 1, while interestingly enough retaining the original Garland's history in Dimension Dissidia. At least that's my take on it.

Someone else has probably said all of these ideas already, but... Much like how Kingdom Hearts is in desperate need of a game set during the Ten Year Gap (the reports are simply Not Enough), id like to see a game set in ff1 during the time that the Dissidia secret reports were written. if Garland and Jack Garland really are the same person, if "Chaos" aka. Jack aka. "Darkness Manifest" (?????) AND Dissidia's Chaos (As Voiced By Keith David unf) Who Used To Be Just Some Poor Orphaned Child really are the same person, I want to know How and Why. Beyond this, I think EVERY FF game needs a sequel and/or prequel if it hasn't had one already. For example i think an FF2 prequel starring a Pre-Defeated Mateus who has to work his way up from Scratch would be a great game. Even Better if it's a prequel set way in the past, during the time of the invention of the Destroy spell (not Ultima), and its subsequent sealing away in an ancient Arcane Labyrinth to be ruled over for All Time by a poor chosen boy named Deumion I think FF3 needs a Sequel! Where the world becomes too full of LIGHT instead of darkness, as is prone to happening sometimes in that world, and so a new four orphans are chosen as the new Warriors of Darkness. Perhaps they have personalities similar to or in contrast from the WoLs from the original game? And when they meet their idols they'd grown up being taught about, their grandiose Godlike expectations leave something to be desired. That would be hilarious

If Jack Garland from this game is supposed to become Garland from FF1 and Dissidia, then how come they both appear as separate characters in Opera Omnia? Alternate timeline shenanigans like in FF7 Remake?

You have to start playing Dissida OO! The story is actually incredible and unifies all the dissidias together. Current developments actually have the WoL and Gardland recalling the previous Worlds with Chaos and Cosmos, rather than just material and spiritus. if you don't want to play the game, you can find the script viewer online or watch cutscenes on youtube.

Hoping FF2 is the next game in the series to get this treatment!

When I saw the moogle from the bahamut dlc I had an inkling that dissidia would be involved somehow. So glad that it all turned true 😆

I wonder if there will be more dlc for strangers of paradise? I hope so because I would love to go through the dissidia world or other final fantasy characters as bosses. Maybe have the option to have Jack's appearance changed to the Emperor

After being disappointed by "FF XVI", I decided to give this game another shot. I think I was too hard on it the first time. It's actually pretty cool.

What they should do is a PROPER Dissidia. You know, with single player content, an actual story mode and all that jazz.

theres not really a ton of room beyond the first 3 games to do things exactly like SoP, Mateus and Xande are the only two villains that are blank enough slates, I would have said early career Sephiroth, but Ever Crisis already took that one. Instead, they can probably do other backstory-centric characters/parties, namely: The Dawn Warriors from 5 and Braska's Pilgrimage from 10

I agree with everything. The fact that the dlc credits rolls only by defeating the emperor and hearing the dissidia referencing monolog of the moogle, was for me the ultimate hint that Dissidia is still in progress and not dead. I'll very welcome a new dissidia game, but not for mobile. Even when it will be just a Dissidia 012 remake I'm still hyped for it.

Any tips to beat this DLC? I beat the other 2 but Different Future is brutal i can't be the emperor in the 1st fight
