Makes me wonder if there's a melee build that can even begin to keep up with this. I've never been all that partial to ranged options in these sorts of games, but I might just have to go that route if this is the payoff.

I've been playing this game since it came out and still don't know how to get those gears with good passives, all I get are basic passives with 2 or 3 rare ones, where can I drop that kind of gear, or is it only craftable?
hi, im super new to Stranger of Paradise and just unlocked rifts. How do you get max map at the start? Also you are mainly using the aim ability right or am i missing something. Sorry to ask, but im lacking the experience to tell whats going on :D
Hi 👋 I use a mega ether before entering the portal, which is bought from Astos once he appears in the rift hall. And yes I am using the aim ability to deal the damage after I've cast my buffs
hey man awesome build but I've got two questions: you get 450% from the Monster Affinitys in the Rift i assume since you don't have any Drk affinity but "dmg near death" stats on your gear, if so which affinitys do you need most for this build and any tips on how to level them? I've the harpy and the coeurl out and I'm on Rift 70 so far but it still takes alot of grinding to get them up. Second would be you only use ultima, does it matter if ultima or evocation? I'm kinda low so I've got both on a good level and wondering how much it's worth it to get one for the +10 skills and if you also get stat bonis like with the 800% Affinity Job bonus.
I don't know how to answer any of your questions except the near death one. Seeing that his weakest visible stats are 450%, I'd say he's got the 400% dark knight which is needed to trigger near death effects at all times.
In the rift, you can get job affinity buffs and I think they all go above 400% when maxed. I definitely don't see dark knight on his gear but his near death effects were definitely active.
Going over 800% will give you stats. Iirc, the stats are related to the affinity's wisdom bonuses, and the numbers will change from job to job. On the breaker job, it was giving me like +9 strength for every +100% breaker affinity over 800%, so stacking it was a good source of damage.
Question. I assume at the start of the video you're in the Hall. How are you able to bump up your MP bars before the Rift Mission even starts? Usually during Rift Missions, the game always starts me off with only two MP bars.
Hello! 'Improved effect: analyze' special effects need to be on the hunter to work properly. But once you activate analyze with those improved effects, it will stay in that powered up state even if you switch to a different job

what does near death: damage dealt do? I don't get it. I saw you battle those boss but not in 'near death' situation. Or at least your hp is not below 30%
Its increase you damage, when you hp is low. Trick is to use a dark knight affinity bonus at 400, which give you all near death effects active at all time.
Ya I'll message you on PSN next I'm on 👍 Not sure exactly how long it took, but the 999% blessings were pretty quick once the floors started getting up there. High chaos effects took longer, recently I've been collecting more of these by repeatedly killing the trial IX bosses on 300 null void then returning to hall. You keep all the gear when doing this, and the dimension points lost are negligible so you can farm it a looot before needing to refill the bar.
I'm stacking the % to get more luck for farming. Carbuncle's blessing effect combined with 600% samurai also lets me restore mp on demand by casting charged bullets in the 'while aiming 1' combo slot.
Why did you put HP on your allies build? Does it increase your damage or is it just to make them last longer in battle? Also, why did you give them 600 paladin and 400 knight?
So they can last longer in battle yes. 400 knight + 400 paladin allows companions to be invulnerable during resonance mode. Paladin is 600% only because I had nothing better to make use of the other 350% affinity slot on their 2handed weapons, so I figured I'd throw one of my paladin affinities on there for more HP.
My rating of this build: Efficiency: 10/10 Justice: 4/10 (overpowered and needs to be nerfed) Freedom: 2/10 (practically walking on a tightrope) This is the type of build that should only appeal to narcissists.
