I remember being educated about stranger danger when I was 6 years old. Mommy told me that I must say no to strangers if they ask me for candy or a ride. When I turned 14 years old, I missed my bus for school. I was chasing after it, so I just stood there in the pouring rain. Just then, a lady pulled up to me in her car. She asked me if I wanted to ride to school. I yelled no and ran home. When Mommy asked me what I was doing home, I told her that I had missed my bus and that a lady wanted to give me a ride to school. She asked me if I knew the lady. I said no. Mommy picked up the phone and began to dial 911, but the lady came to my house and knocked on the door. Mommy realized who the lady was and put the phone down. She told me who the lady was. Turns out, the lady had a daughter who went to the same school with me at the time. The lady gave me a ride to school. I apologized to her for yelling in her face and she said, "it's okay, Hannah. My parents also taught me about stranger danger when I was a little girl. They always taught me to say no to strangers." When I was 18 years old, Mommy told me to walk to Wawa to buy some butter. When I got to Wawa, I held the door open for a guy. Right after I bought the butter, I held the door open for the same guy. When I was walking home, the guy pulled up to me in his car and asked me if I wanted a ride home. I said no. He just drove away. When I was 19 years old, I was on a school trip at the playground. I saw a toddler girl struggling to get into the baby swing. When I asked her if she needed help, she said yes, so when I tried to pick her up, she began crying loudly. Her mother came running over. She asked me who I was. I introduced myself and told her that I was just trying to help her daughter. Her mother began yelling at me in Spanish, which I kinda understood. Then she told me that her daughter was scared of strangers. When I was 21 years old, I was grocery shopping. I saw a toddler boy running off from his family to buy some bananas. I went up to him and told him that he needed to go back to his family. He told me that he wasn't allowed to talk to strangers. I told him that I was just helping him. I helped him pick out some bananas and brought him back to his family, who thanked me. A couple of months ago, I was cleaning up a playground. I saw a little girl who looked like she had no adult supervision, so I decided to ask her if she was with someone. She told me that she was with her father, her father's girlfriend, and her brother. When I offered to watch her, she said that her father told her never to talk to strangers. I introduced myself and told her that I was just trying to help her, so she allowed me to watch her. When her family came to pick her up, her father began questioning me. I told him that I was just watching his daughter and keeping her safe. He asked me who I was. I introduced myself. Then I said goodbye to that family and walked all the way back home.
My neighbors aren't strangers. I have these two neighbors named Andrew and Vicky. They're a young couple with two little kids. I also have this neighbor named Jack. He's an old man who smokes weed and does yard work.
technically they are theyre just ure "safety stranger or a kinda know stranger"sometimes de ppl who are our neighbors or de ppl we trust can do us de most harm
im so glad i used my gut feeling to not get in de womans car so heres wat happened to me i was in my last yr of high school n walking home after school at de time i had a fractured ankle n a woman in a red car stopped by me n asked if i wanted a ride i told her no she asked if iwas sure n i told her no n she left thank god i diddnt get in
