Well, the way I see it is we’re paying for insurance. There’s gonna be systems in place to make sure that that happens that being said the business you describe is working off of dead children shady people would be making sure they met their business model.

And if those services are paid for, on a taxpayer basis, you can regulate the prices to make sure the people in the morticians and funeral homes are getting paid a very decent wage because what they are doing is actually really important for society, and very tough work. Think about it do you want to be the person cleaning up the dead child after a mass shooting in a school cleaning up that kid and making them presentable for the family one last time touching their dead lifeless body?

Funerals cost between $10,000 to $20,000 these days when you consider the cost of the casket, burial plot and Funeral Home. I know this because my parents passed within a year of each other. So, I definitely get your point about families needing help to pay for it. It is really wrong to bilk grieving families like that. Great reaction.
Then there’s the mortician cost a lot of work, goes to a body before they have to go in the ground as gases buildup inside of the gut and can make them body blow up, which is what led to people believing in the rising of the dead or vampires so pretty much what happens is modern mummification most of your organs are removed the mouth wired shut to not open up bones realigned with metal pins as rigor mortis can shift the posture as well as multiple other steps beautification as well most morticians are great at make up pretty much they have to find a photo and make them look exactly like that

I agree with Brandon that the government should assist with funeral costs for families affected by tragedies (if they cannot afford the expenses). Funerals are so expensive, and the financial burden only adds to the suffering. We already pay taxes that go to some things we don’t necessarily support, so it makes sense to support something compassionate like this. Helping families to grieve properly and honor their loved ones without the added stress of finances I think is a worthy and humane use of public funds ❤

Brandon you are so right that children's funerals should be paid for by the government. All children. Maybe under 15 yrs old. They can pay for corporations to get tax cuts, other rich people and send money to everyone else but our citizens, they can pay for the children.
In middle school we had a student pass from a heart condition and they brought our grade together to TELL US it happened. He passed out in the cafeteria and ended up in the hospital. Then I remember about 3 days later being in class and they called all of us in the grade to come to the gym and the Principal gave us the news that he passed away earlier that day.
Come to the UK, they don't pay for funerals but they never allow people to not be able to Bury their loved ones so if you can't afford it alot of funeral directors will work something out with you. As far as health care goes though that is all paid for by the government

I had a kid die in just about every school. I went to actually and yet every time they do an assembly. Especially for the high school kids it was a big deal when someone from the high school died you would do your day of just everybody being kind of go to class if you wanna go to class cry if you want to just like a day of everybody having group therapy
I can't speak for the entire nation but there are some local governments that do have assistance that can be requested for lower income families that lose children to assist with funeral arrangements

Best way to do what brandon is talking about is getting a PREPAID burial service for the entire family. As soon as baby is born add them to the family insurance. I BET u once insurance companies have to start paying for it there WILL be laws enacted to MAKE THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE pay for it. IF the government started paying for it then it will NEVER stop. Politicians will benefit MORE and MOST and it wont stop there. Next it will be the homeless and then people with no medical insurance and then this and then that.

You say, "Send a little robot or something." But the thing is the time period of Stranger Things TV show is set in the 1980s. That sort of thing wasn't really a thing in the 80s. Cameras were huge. And news cameras either had long cables attached to the news vans that had generators in them or they had big batteries. My uncle had a VHS video camera in the 80s. It was big and recorded for only 2 hours or less if it wasn't plugged into the wall. You gotta remember that these were the days of antenna TVs with UHF channels, floppy disks, pagers, fax machines and (as you saw) massive walkie-talkies. It was also when cellphone were first invented (that looked a lot like an 80s walkie-talkie with buttons) and they had long antennas and huge external foot long battery pack with a cord attached to the phone. Definitely don't give the govt any more money. They are the worst. So much wasteful spending already. They'd want $100,000 for each funeral, and they'd spend $99,000 of that on themselves in administrative costs and bonuses. Best to go the charity route. We have the internet now. I completely agree that there should be help available for families who lose loved ones and need assistance to handle the final affairs properly. I have to disagree that it should be through the government or our taxes. I would rather contribute myself through a Go Fund Me or make contributions to a nonprofit charity that in turn helps the families. Once you get the government involved, I dont feel like the bulk of the money collected via taxes would specifically go to helping the families. Look at how much of our taxes the government wastes already, not to mention the rules and restrictions they would create as things go along concerning who qualifies, how much they qualify for, etc. Keeping it a grassroots thing would better serve the people who need it in the long run. Just my 2 cents.
