"Chrissy, this is for you." I will never get over how Chrissy was killed off too soon. She and Eddie together were amazing.

The great thing about this scene is you don't even need to be a metal head to really appreciate how amazing it was. Really dope scene.

It's amazing how Eddie still feels great sympathy for Chrisey and remembers her in his way, even though he didn't know her she didn't deserve it. This shows us how much depth of character Eddie is.

Eddie: This one's for you Chrissy. Fun fact: Master of puppets being an anti drug song and Chrissy coming to Eddie in the first place to get drugs makes it the perfect tribute for her. This is pure genius!

"He was hated by those who don't understand him, but loved by those who did." Long live Eddie!

Eddie plucked those strings like it was his last moments alive. Absolutely loved his character.

Dustin rocking out watching Eddie play is my favorite part. I just love the joy and pride in his eyes for his awesome friend. RIP Eddie, the unfairly vilified hero

"It's like she was made for another dimension." Eddie was such a great character. We need to celebrate him. This scene was too fucking metal.

Fun fact: The Duffer brothers casted Joseph Quinn before they knew he could play guitar. He was very modest and said he’s “pretty good” at playing guitar and spent hours perfecting this scene. So Joseph Quinn is quite literally shredding Metallica in this scene! Edit: I was not aware of the time of commenting that Joseph also had a hand double. But he is playing in a majority of this clip, except the solo!

I love Eddie Munson personality and I feel bad for him because those people didn’t see the Eddie we see, if they saw his personality they would’ve liked him so bad. His guitar playing is so amazing I even put it in my playlist. We Love you Eddie

Eddie was ROCKING TF OUT!!!! MOST. METAL. EVER!!! Joseph Quinn aka Eddie Munson could not have looked any more Bad Ass than in this scene right here! Best scene hands down! He was SHREDDING that guitar!! You could see the determination on his face the whole time he was playing like he was fighting Veccna with his music! "Chrissy this is for you" The Duffer Brothers really showed out with this Season....Season 5 is gonna be INSANE..

whoever decided to add "Chrissy, this is for you" is a genius. adds so much more to the scene.

A song that I'm listening over 30 years without skipping single second. The day I listened during watching the serie it gave me the goosebump that i felt 30 years ago...

I always loved at 0:55 when Eddie and Dustin are both head banging and the smile on Dustin’s face. RIP Eddie

Eddie literally had the most badass scene in the entire show.

Red lightning in the back, dark environment, bats swirling....man this is the perfect way to execute a classic metal🤘🤘, watched this scene more than 20 times or so. Eddie you will be missed!

The guitar solo part with Max trying to remember a good time is just epic 🤟

I'm not even joking, when I watched this scene there was this electric sensation I felt down my spine.

I sure hope Joseph Quinn knows that his short time as our "Eddie" made a huge impact on the viewers/fans. He didn't just play a part. He "became" Eddie in every scene he was in. And I was wrong about the song choice..Metal was perfect.

This scene, throwing the cocktail at vecna, and Max's running up that hill scene were my three favorites in this season. Freaking lost my mind when Eddie started playing one my favorite songs.

This is one of those scenes that even months later you get an urge and have to watch it a few times on repeat. Major respect for taking guitar lessons and learning the song, making that scene just mind-blowing freaking awesome.

i’m obsessed with the visuals this season; max running from vecna, the parallel of the kids and teens riding on the bikes, nancy shooting vecna, and now this guitar scene?! i mean, these shots are so interesting. i cant wait for season 5!!

This is more epic when you find out that Joseph Quinn (who portray's Eddie) actually played the vast majority of the guitar parts and really digs the song. Absolutely amazing

This scene really is just the best thing ever. Whether it's a flashback,vampire or a resurrection there's no doubt in my mind we'll see Eddie in the next season in some capacity. Way too huge of a draw to not be included at all.

Stranger Things will go down in history as one of the greatest TV series in modern history.

That scene with Eddie's uncle was so heartbreaking. Eddie and Bob, how did they make us care for them so much in such a short amount of time?

A character that took less then 10 episodes to win each and every single heart in this world. A charecter who can never ever ever be topped and never be replaced. Eddie was is and will be the best thing the duffer brothers cudve ever given us. You will most definitely be missed “freak”. 😔

I just love the part when he plays the first chord and camera pans to the blazing red thunder behind him. Pure metal!!!

That end part where Dustin says “Dude! Most. Metal. Ever!!!!” And then they jump up and down together like two excited children… That’s the best part of the entire season!

What alot of people don't realize. Is that Eddie Munson only had like 3 weeks to learn Master of Puppets. It came out March of 86 the same month this is taking place. Meaning every moment he wasn't at school or playing dnd. He was pouring his heart into playing his beloved guitar

this scene is really iconic. playing a metal rock song somewhere in the underworld is really a beautiful and fitting scene to see. Thank you Eddie. We will miss you.

everytime i watch this scene, i tear up. Just because I know Joseph Quinn actually put his heart and soul into that whole song. And I also know he felt like he didn't deserve the role as Eddie. I could not imagine anyone else as our outcaster Eddie The Banished Munson

This scene was, by far, my absolute favorite! What’s nuts is this takes place during spring break of 1986. Master of Puppets album was released March 3, 1986. Eddie had WEEKS to learn this, including the solo. Nah, the guitar wasn’t made for this. You were, Eddie. ❤️

I love the added touch of Dustin head banging to the whole thing. It's like, "Yes, this is a dangerous and life-threatening situation, but my friend is putting on an awesome performance, so damn it, I'm rocking to it!"

This scene was one of THE best in the entire stranger things series. So heroic and it's Metallica. Eddie Munson was one of my favourite characters.

Most metal ever! Badass Eddie Munson. Loved this scene. The best of season 4! The light, the background, the legendary Master of Puppets. The word Awesome has been redefined!!! As a metal head, I was up on my heels when Eddie finds his guitar in the upside down.

Dustin looks like Eddie's proud little brother and I love it

It’s a shame only a few people truly knew who Eddie really was. Instead Hawkins knows him as a cult leader and a monster. The scene with Dustin giving Eddie’s uncle his guitar pick brought me to tears. Dustin was the one who had the most history with Eddie and seeing him tell his uncle how he was a hero broke me. Rip the legend, gone but not forgotten

This scene and Max's escape were absolutely incredible. I'll wait however long it takes for another season if they keep up this pace

Eddie The freak Munson, who died protecting a town that called him a murderer. Our hero. He deserved so much better

Best part of the episode, like how the song went along with the scene, it made sense and it was understandable. The song said come crawling faster, obey your master, when it said that's exactly what Eddie was doing, he wanted the bats to follow the music, come this way towards me, obey your master. If you know what I mean

I usually watch Netflix on laptop but since it was finale I decided to watch it on TV with surround sound it was the one of the best decisions ever!!this scene literally gave me goosebumps!!

I'm jealous that Dustin got to personally witness the most epic shred in t.v. history. Eddie was a legend, and legends never die. I hope that Eddie's name gets cleared in season 5, and that Hawkins builds a monument in his honor. And I'm glad Argyle will be returning as well.

I like how he did not just copy Metallica's body language in the sequence but injected his own spirit into it, I love the part where he was just looking upwards in the kung fu stance... you don't get that in the classic heavy metal bands of the past... that split second was golden...

I haven't seen a more genius scene than this....its pure genius and visually spectacular...

The writing of the line “Chrissy, this is for you” hits so hard on so many levels. A nod to someone who gave a nod to him. Eddie’s character is so brave and genuine the entire time we know him, just nobody tells him. He could have easily made himself a victim and made Chrissy into a bad memory but he dedicates this song to her even while Chrissy’s boyfriend and the whole town believes Eddie killed her and is hunting him down - he even keeps his Hellfire shirt on! This to me was “show don’t tell” he was still Hellfire’s leader no matter what anyone believed, because they showed him respect. The other main characters don’t listen to Eddie’s music but he gives Steve his Dio vest to wear telling Steve he’s “metal”, almost to say Steve is brave and he wants to be brave too so he dresses Steve like him. Eddie also tries offering his tapes to play for Nancy to get her out of Vecna’s trance because to him it’s beautiful music. He was too old for highschool and was known as “the freak” but Chrissy (the cool kid’s girlfriend) remembered Eddie’s band and supported his music, so for his last metal set he dedicates it to her who truly understood and supported him. What a show, so much happens in my mind between the actions characters take, wonderful writing.

That riff hit hard man, I couldnt stop crying. I'd recognise those riffs anywhere.

The fact that Joseph Quinn ACTUALLY played the song makes it even better. Eddie went full shred! (yes the solo I believe was someone else for the close up shots but still, there’s video of him actually playing that damn song)

I honestly can’t think of a character who would top Eddie before or even after season 4. Everything about this man was executed with perfection!

Considering they set this season in March of 86r, Eddie learned master of puppets, and it's solo, in less than a month. insane skill

Master of Puppets was already FANTASTIC, but in this scene with the lightning and wind in the background made this song 1,000 times better and DEAR LORD, I have never seen a more metal scene in any film EVER. This-by far-is the coolest metal scene in the history of film making! Great job stranger things on making this scene!

Everything about this scene was perfect. From the dark sky with red lightning, the otherworldly environment, and the bats flying. This was so much fun to watch!

I was never a big rock, metal whatever fan but I will say this solo kicked ass.

Max's story was insane this season. So much respect for Sadie Sink for absolutely nailing her character! And Eddie was my fave new character this season, it was sad to see him go.

You remember in the beginning when Eddie tells Chrissy he’s in a band and that they play here and there. Some would think he’s just boasting and is a wannabe musician. And then this scene shows up and proves just how much of a skilled musician he really is. LONG LIVE EDDIE MUNSON!!

Joseph did an amazing job not only playing this past season’s show stealer, Eddie, but also playing that electric guitar like the badass metal head he is. 🎸🤘🏼
