he totally avenged Chrissy here… I know he did it for Hawkins and his friend but I see some very real traces of how he feels about what happened to poor Chrissy here. i feel like the “swap our places” fits perfectly because he was absolutely a wreck when he had to watch Chrissy die.

I still miss Eddie and want him to come back. I'll never forget how haunting Dustin's cries were the first couple of days after it happened. It hurt so badly. Eddie and Wayne did such a wonderful job in the show, they deserve more screen time.

While I understand the purpose of this edit there's good reason why this song wasn't used for this moment. In the show this song is constantly used to show triumph and victory. This is a noble sacrifice that Eddie makes hence the more emotional score we see in the show.

Aside from the cuts to black which make it feel like a movie trailer rather than a show, I love this and the song would've fit perfectly in this scene.

I love this video, it does so many things right, but i feel the ending is too abrupt like the ending of the sopranos it just kind of cuts off, if you make a version too put the scene with eddie and dustan in at the end, the complete awesomeness of the music with this video but with the deeply touching notes at the end. there are a few times where you do a quick cut to black like a snap away and snap back, i feel like its not really needed AS MUCH but it is actually a good touch.
