Okay so about eddie and chrissy, after i posted the video i was reminded that eddie and chrissy have an age gap, cuz chrissy is 16-17 and eddie is 20-21, so immediately i was like ew ok nevermind, but then someone said that the missing poster for him said he was 17, and i went back to check and it was too small for me to tell so idk how someone would know this so just be aware of all this whatever you decide to do with it

I love how Steve definitely makes sure not to tell anybody Robin’s secret because in this day in age, if someone was outed as LGBTQ, they would be disowned by everyone in the area for life, unless they were good people like Steve. He knows that she will tell them when she’s ready :]

it's sorta small but i do love how steve never outes robin even to people he "could" trust like nancy or dustin like he knows it's not for him to tell you know?

I might be in the minority who feels the death of Chrissy was perfect, despite her amazing chemistry with Eddie. It makes her death hit that much harder, despite her being only in one episode. Her death hit much harder than Fred Benson despite us getting a little more screen time with him.

I feel so bad for el because Angela really really deserved it. No one has to be bullied that bad. And it’s even worse that Angela was never punished but el was for standing up for herself.

When there’s a will there’s a way… to neglect them so hard even the writers forget about their birthday lol

I had such hope for Eddie and Chrissy 😭 - Not-so-short edit (in light of all the age gap replies): Here's my two cents. Chrissy is 17 (almost 18) and Eddie is 19 or 20, at most (this is from the Stranger Things Wiki). In my book, a 17 year-old is perfectly able to have a relationship with a 19/20 year-old, as long as that person is not in a position of power or influence. Here we have two people who grew up together, go to the same school, see each other as equals, etc. Also, I'm not saying legality = morality, but the age of consent in Indiana is 16 years-old. Teenagers are not children and can have sexual agency; Chrissy is able to give consent. Therefore, I have no problem shipping them. I'm not saying this age gap is always ok, but in this situation, I don't see any issue with it. If you disagree, that's fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ok but I like how they aren’t only bringing some problems into the dating relationships but in the friendships too cuz the whole of Vol 1 Steve and Dustin were like fighting but then when Steve and Eddie are talking Eddie says “the kid practically WORSHIPS you” and shows Steve that just cuz he’s being sassy and moody towards him doesn’t mean he doesn’t like him and maybe instead he enjoys it or is trying to act cool infront of him lol.. idk I just adore there friendship it’s so iconic and cutee❤️❤️

the fact that eddie could already tell there was something going on with chrissy, he KNEW how to make her feel comforted and probably forget about what was going on for JUST a second. he didn't like to keep on asking her if she was okay, he just helped her be distracted, laugh, and feel at peace for a little while. true love right there. (edit: I just want you all to know that I DO understand the age difference, and maybe how they knew each other before these scenes, but it's just a simple ship. I'm not trying to get them to marry or something else. it's just a simple ship. it's like how people ship steve and dustin because they're best friends.)

I thought the bit where Steve attempted to reuse Dustin's line to nancy was so funny bc it meant that when he heard Dustin say that he probably thought it was actually cool/suave/charming, cool enough to attempt to memorize it and use it to subtly impress someone. I laughed so hard more so at that then him fumbling it up

i love how will doesn't blame eleven for being in love with his crush ( i mean she doesnt know bout him being 99.9% 💅🏼✨) and treats her nicely, just like a sibling like thats cute

I loved 001, and although I knew they would turn him evil from the get go, I so badly wanted him to be good so I could justify having a big crush on him without seeming like a psycho, but here we are. (But seriously, Jamie did this role perfectly)

i think that even though one was extreme with his comments about the "hospital" to eleven, what he was doing wasn't exactly the same as gaslighting because he was telling the truth. "Papa" was keeping the children prisoner and doing experiments on them, he didn't make that up. I think he just mentions things when they're convenient for him in order to get eleven on his side. but he wasn't lying about what was going on.

Max has really turned into one of my favourite characters her acting and the comedy side of things with Jonathan and Argyle and a few moments from others is just amazing, definitely 1 of if not my favourite season so far
