I do not think Steve is an idiot, he loved Nacy he protected her when he thought Jonathan was harassing her, and when he thought he had slept with her his heart broke. Yes, I treat Jonathan badly, but from the beginning he was that big-hearted character we see in the last two seasons

Omg I was watching this and you know that egg, I thought it was from the first ever demogorgon we see in the show but at the post credits at the end of season three, there was a demogorgon that killed that Russian prisoner.... what if that’s where that demogorgon came from?!!

Yep Steven stepped up. Which was very interesting to see. I thought he was gonna be this complete ass on the show, but this changed my outlook.

Yay! Yes, all sorts of stuff going on in this episode. It gets pretty wild before the ep is done. The kids do their best team up. Eleven rejects the bad guys. The teens team up. (Big surprise there.) And we get Hopper and Joyce teaming up to try something. So all our good guys get to be heroes. Intense episode. Hang onto your seats (or your special someone or best buddy, even better, haha).

Season 1 Chapter 8, The Demogorgon eventually found him inside Castle Byers and took him to the library. Hopper and Joyce later entered the Upside Down via the Gate, eventually finding Will attached to a tendril extending down his throat, which they immediately removed.
