The fact that Brad went from eye-rolling when he saw Steve was on screen in Season 1 to thirsting over him in Season 3 😂

"it's your grandma" is so much funnier if you remember the bloopers of that scene. Everytime hopper said it, the actor laughed and the kids couldnt take the scene seriously xD

This season is just so much fun. We see a lot of the characters just living their everyday life and interacting with each other not just because the world is in danger. Eleven is living a normal life with her friends, having fun, dating, making new friends. It's just so wholesome. I think this was needed.

to understand Will we have to go way back bc not only the things with the Upside Down, he was also abused and bullied since he was a kid and D&D + his friends were always him comfort and the Castle Byers (that thing he destroyed) too. He built it the day his dad (who was also introduced to us as a homophobic man, especially towards Will) left. Him destroying the Castle Byers right after Mike said "it's not my fault you don't like girls" is so heartbreaking because he's trying to accept that his childhood is past and that he should get over it, that his comfort is annoying for people and he feels like a burden and a mistake since all of them have girlfriends and are growing up but he's right where they left him (also YOU GET IT!! he's 100% queercoded since s1)

For me, the thing with Will is that, while he was at the upsidedown world his friends matured and he couldn't, and in the second one he was possessed, so he is still a "child" while his friends evolved and got into the teenager age. His childhood was stolen, so I get why he is so troubled and upset about them finding girlfriends and etc. So sad

Steve went from being just Nancy's boyfriend to the Mother of several children. And that is the character development of a lifetime. I don't really like how Mike is neglecting some of his friends though. You can balance being a good boyfriend and being a good friend. And Mike isn't really doing good on the friend stuff. At the very least, he checked on Will but poor Dustin. Also, I don't like Mike in certain instances, but Hopper was way out of line with the whole Nana thing. You don't lie about someone's family member potentially being in danger just to get your point across. Still love Hopper, but that was kinda yikes. I've always found it so funny how a certain portion of the fandom was really adamant that Will wasn't gay. His S1 character description is, "a boy with sexual identity issues", he gets called several slurs by his father and the bullies, the S2 script mentions that in the finale while he's dancing with the girl, he's actually staring at Mike the whole time, and when Mike says, "It's not my fault you don't like girls", apparently, the line originally was supposed to be, "It's not my fault you don't like girls yet". So the Duffer brothers intentionally removed the yet from the equation. Hmm, the creators of the show altering a line in the script to change it from something happening later in life to it never happening at all. And yet people get so upset at the idea of Will not being straight despite it literally being in his character description since the beginning. But anyway, I feel really bad for Will. He gets kidnapped, possessed, burned alive from the inside multiple times, and now he's mostly just being ignored. Will deserves better.

I love this season. It is so colorful and over the top 80's cheesiness. Eleven is at her happiest, finding her identity and style. It is visually so different from seasons 1 and 2. The only thing I disliked about season 3 is Hopper turn for the worst personality wise.

Nah cuz every time I see the “it’s not my fault you don’t like girls” scene I almost or do cry. You can tell that really hurt him bc you can see in his character info smth like “I sensitive kid with sexual identity issues” or smth and he still is confused abt himself. Not to mention he starts tearing up and just doesn’t reply. Will is my favorite character and he deserves the world.

I was surpirsed when I heard recently that a lot of people didn't like season 3. I personally loved it, though season 1 is still my favourite. I especially loved that Eleven finally got the chance to be kind of a normal teenager and have a normal friendship with Max.

I just feel like Will is now soooo forgotten character that it hurts:( It feels like everyone only needs him or cares about him when he has a connection to the upside down, when he's dying, when he's in danger. Obvs there is people that care about him dearly like his mother and brother, but they're not always there. Joyce and Jonathan have their own things and that makes me so sad, that it feels like he's all on his own:(
