ye and he didn't even asked how and why it happened or why dustin had his plectrum implying he was with eddie.... this season is better than the second and the third just because doing worst than those 2 was impossible. also why cutting the fucking rope that steve, nancy and robin had to use to escape the upsidedown. classic character "hero ending" of a character that had a death mark since Episode 1.
The most badass thing any mortal could do. Playing Metal Rock in an alternate dimension while being swarmed by demo-bats as lightning storms in the background. We only knew Eddie for so long, but he’s a legend
I'm not really an avid fan of rock but that scene was it! It was powerful and well done, to me it was the most metal thing i ever witnessed and i loved every second of it
Can we all agree that max and Eddie stole this season , with their songs and their saddest quotes "I didn't run away this time, right" "I don't want to die,I am not ready" I really cried for Eddie but max broke my heart. Those last words with Lucas .
She isn't dead, however as Papa said , Vecna doesn't just kill, he takes ayway their victim's consciousness and all he/she has been and will ever be so Max could return in s5 but with something missing, the strongest possibility is her being blind
@@linegametogether3255 no she will not be blind cause when vecna was killing eleven in volume 1 her eyes also become like max and bleeding but eleven can see everything therefore max will not be blind in season 5 she will go on that movie date with Lucas 😢
Man stranger things is one of the best shows I've ever watched. Not only did they give us a show they literally released a 2 hour movie as the finale. The show just pulls you in when you watch and when you see characters like Eddie who was only there for a season but we all watched him transform from a coward to a hero. What an epic show I CANNOT wait for next season.
I cant forget the S04 Finale untill I die. Its the best finale I have ever seen in my entire life. Oh! What an episode it was!!! Just awesome maan.....fire
I hope Mr. Munson comes back and helps the team. Vecna needs to pay in blood for everyone lost because of him, and it's going to take the world to stop him now.
Emmys are deserved. The acting this season is surreal. Special shout-out to Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin and Millie for their performances. Those scenes touched my heart the most. Gaten and Joseph Quinn who play Eddie as well. By far the best season. I can’t wait for what the final season has in store.
what about max? she's the true hero. I mean, I like eddie and all, but all he did was get killed by bats. max actually managed to keep vecna at bay so steve & co. could kill him
@@deadsparksgamingchannel bruh it was the heroism of Eddie who kept the bats away from Steve and others so they could kill Vecna not Max. Max was just the final target of Vecna in order to fullfill his plan and he succeeded.
@@deadsparksgamingchannel all of them were true heros, but Eddie was casted out by hawkins and being framed as a murderer, and he still chose to help save it. And max didn't rlly do anything but me lunch meat for vecna so
"Never change, Dustin Henderson" "My, my, the child speaks" "Y'know . . . just on a daily basis" "Look at us. We are not heroes" "It's my year. I can feel it. '86, baby" "I think it's finally my year" "I ran away" "I didn't run away this time, right?"
Eddie is the best character in this show. An epitome of all that these kids stand for. So sad that he has to die like this. And so legendary at the same time.
The most badass scene in the history of Stranger Things Hopper vs The Demogorgon with this music played, the scene itself was great, but the music made it extraordinary.
I feel like that scene is going waaaaay under appreciated because of the gravity of the Max/Eddy scenes. It was great to see Hopper get back to form and literally slay the dragon. THAT Hopper has been sorry missing after fat bumbling, Magnum PI Hopper of Season 3. Was great to have him back.
I really don't for sure but that sword... that pose hopper took.. I swear to god it was paying hommage to Conan.. that looks like his sword and that pose looks exactly like the one conan took right before killing the guy who killed his father.
Max and Eddie owed this season completely. Although that final scene involving Hop slaying the demogorgon with the sword and Nancy shooting fearlessly at Vecna while she keeps moving ahead towards him was a historical moment. It gets better with every season but this season deserves everything!!
I'm so happy bc just bc characters aren't the main character, they still get recognition they deserve and they're not just thrown to the side. They actually matter like they're supposed to.
probably an uncommon opinion, but that final scene was a little dumb. I guarantee Vecna could have beat them if he didn't stand there and let them shoot him and throw Molotov's at him. Also, what was the point of sawing of the barrel of the shotgun? did Nancy want to make sure she had to get close to him to do any damage?
Honestly before season 4 I was sceptical if they could do it again but they really made the best season so far in my opinion. Now I’m confident they will bring it home in the final season, the way this season ended set up the Endgame perfectly.
@@MR_Nosy_Otter1 we? who's we? clearly, you don't understand the premise of Season 3. it was supposed to be a breath fresh of air from the dark events that happened in the first two seasons. it was supposed to be fun, cheery, as it took place during summer. Season 2 was the weakest imo, especially the unnecessary episode of Eleven's "sister".
@@MR_Nosy_Otter1 for me season 3 was the best next to season 4 I honestly don’t get the hate at all It was summer and it had a great summer feeling it was just perfection imo But it ain’t for everyone I guess I mean for me season 1 was the weakest season
@@michaelrobosa146 nothing that happened in season 3 was fun. Billy died, will was ditched by all his friends, and the writing to me was the weakest lol
It destroyed me to see Eddie die, but I really liked the way the Duffer brothers did it. Eddie went from someone who was scared and ran and even straight up saying he isn’t a hero, both in the first and second volumes, to someone who sacrificed himself to save Dustin and the whole town. THAT’S character development at its finest, and having a heroic death like this is something to be respected and appreciated.
Having Max and Eddie on-screen while this plays is emotional damage indeed. I'm not ready for Season 5 without those two, even if Max survives she'll never be the same.
Honestly, have ANY of them been the same since going INTO the Upside Down? This was Dustin's first time and he definitely isn't coming out of that the same, none of us are 🥺😔
Heartbroken! My niece is struggling with an eating disorder. She's in severe shape. She really grew attached to the character Eddie. When he died, she was devastated. Our deepest fear is losing her, and I think she viewed him as her hero in a way. I explained that she needs to find the same courage Eddie had to face her monster, too. Lots of powerful themes in this show.
I get this - the whole thing with Stranger things - and why it hits the way it does is that it *isn't* really about the upside down, and the mind flayer and Vecna. Like all really good art, its wide open to allegory. Vecna is a token place holder for our fears, for our self doubts, for our self hatred, for our depression, our anxiety, our eating disorders, our past traumas...for those internalised things. In a wider sense, elements of the upside down is representative of evil when it takes on an institutionalised form, and standing against that. Eddie's final stand is about being the person who is accused of being in the wrong, while actually standing for what is right, and being prepared to stand for it till the last moment, which speaks to going against the crowd for what you believe to be right. That's why it hits the way it does. That's why Max running towards the light, or Eddie's final stand gives you a lump in your throat. At one level Stranger things is a crazy show about unreal things - but it connects because those unreal things transpose onto very real relatable feelings.
''Chrissy... this is for you'' ''I didn't run away this time right?'' ''Never change, Dustin Henderson'' ''Mr. Munson, he is a HERO'' MOST... METAL... EVER. Rest in peace, the guitar-hero of Hawkins, Eddie the Banished.
Eddie the Banished sounds so cool: A bard who utilized the power of song and tune to overcome a great evil, but was cast and banished from the hometown he sought to save.
God, I don't think I've ever had goosebumps as intense as in the scene where Hop picks up the sword and the title theme starts playing on top of Running up that hill
This is hands down the most epic, gut wrenching, exciting and full of heart series i have ever watched. Living during the 80s, this show has captured every part of my childhood. The writing, the acting, the music is superb. I started binged watched this series starting May and im hooked. Congrats to all involved making this show awesome 🤓
The only one that brought me to the brink of tears was when they said "Nobody will know how great of a man Eddie truly was" hit me harder than Titanic hitting the iceberg.
Eddie did not ran this time, max did not flinch her thoughts this time, and this was the time when mike confessed the true feelings to eleven. And then began the fight. With a great fight comes a great sacrifice. And we (audience) are both proud and sad to bid eddie a goodbye. RIP Eddy Munson.
I come back to this every once in a while and now more than never while waiting for season 5 as it’s now in production. You capture the emotion in every version you create so perfectly while capturing your audience’s attention so strongly that we can’t click off or look away, thank you for all you do and I can’t wait to see what you do with what season 5 brings us!
Fr I was so sad that will and eleven met him it would of been so interesting to see because Eddie has probably heard of Will and only heard about Eleven cause of her superpowers
*''I love you man''*- can't believe those were his final words. I came into the episode half expecting Steve to die (who is my favorite character), knowing that Eddie would look after and be their for Dustin like Steve has been. But, after hearing this line, I spend the rest of the episode going why him, why Eddie, take Steve, take anyone (except Dustin), just give me back Eddie!?
Should we add Billy to the list? I mean yeah he was a shitty brother and a mdf in the 2nd season but he was controlled and he sacrificed himself to save El
I can’t…. Eddie’s death completely broke my heart and Max… ohmygod I thought I’d die from the pain I held in my heart. I practically grew up with Stranger Things. I hope they get an Emmy award for their acting. They deserve it. This season was by far the most beautiful and traumatic I’ve ever seen in my life and there were so many emotions and moods to go through… it’s astonishing. Great acting, AMAZING writing, and for Eddie, we will always mourn his death. It doesn’t matter that he was a character, it’s how real he was. How so many can relate. That’s what will keep him alive forever. Rest in Metallica peace Eddie Munson. Your hero days will be remembered by the troublesome gang of kids that save the world and do it because they can and they will. Bitchin’ always.
His real name is Joseph Quinn, he was just an actor who got paid for that role, he is alive and well... you're welcome... lol (JizzUs!!! such a fragile generation of swine)
1:11 *OOH!* The grandfather clock, ticking and chiming in the background there, *and the guitar played with the scene of Eddie's metal solo!?!?!?* Omg, AMAZING! 🥲 You're right, this *is* the most epic version!
So glad the younger generation gets to experience this. The 80s was the best time to be alive. No social media. Riding your bikes, playing outside, arcades, malls, roller rinks. The movies and music. Wish I could go back.
It wasn't great if you were a woman, a racial or religious minority, or a gay or trans person. It's always so telling who mythologizes the past as this magical golden time.
Those Transition scenes during the last fight between Demogorgan and Hopper ,Steve and Robin Throwing flames on Vecna was mind blowing with this Epic version of Running up that hill .. Man this song really made an influence 🔥
Cette série est déjà géniale mais la saison 4..... fabuleuse, hors du temps, grandiose, envoûtante, des scènes qui vous marquent et vous prennent aux tripes 😍😍😍 tout simplement époustouflant
Amazing how in the span of, what? 7 episodes? Eddie became such a fan favorite. I was glad not to see my boy Steve die....but Eddie was damn hard to see go.
Loving these different version of running up that hill that you’re putting out Samuel! I get to listen to a different version each week at the rate you’re going!!
This is awesome. As a person born in the 80s I love this show and the music even more. Easily one of the best series ever. So far all of the first 4 seasons had no disappointments. The music in season 4 really stood out out of all seasons however. Can't wait to see season 5
You missed a great time to be a teenager. The 90s had their own charm but the 80s represent the end of a certain naivete. And of course, the music was pretty amazing. Low tech living. I'm so glad I was born in 70 so I was in high school at just the right time.
Eddie’s death was so hard and Dustin’s reaction made it so much sadder. I’m so glad he got to tell Eddie’s uncle that he died a hero. Max saying she couldn’t see and was so scared and didn’t want to die was devastating OMG! Sadie Sink and Caleb McLaughlin *knocked* those scenes out of the park. A great ending to a season that saved the show!
I love this piece! Eddie quickly became one of my top three favorite characters in this series. I was very frustrated with both his death and the way he died.
I'm a GenXer, happily married, and when we watched last season I told my husband I would have had a massive crush on Eddie, lol. I always loved the troublemakers and nerds, the outcasts. I was one without a clique, lol. Eddie was a standout character for sure. I think every high school back then had an Eddie, and a Steve.
The animation style in this video is so unique and captivating. It adds a whole new dimension to the music and enhances the overall experience. I'm completely hooked!
@@hopeforhobixo5142 I don't think that anyone will die in season 5 except for Eleven or Lucas, because death makes sense only when we don't see that character in upcoming seasons, but since S5 will be the last season, so I feel that they will end it on a happy note.
Well, y’all better buckle up. Because season 5 is the very last and it will most likely end as it began. With Will. Yes, unfortunately, I do believe it will end with Will. By that, I mean, Will is the big death of season five. The series started with him. It’s only proper that he gets a big send off like Eddie. Hell, after not one, but two main character deaths (yes I’m aware max is still alive but I think she may be brain dead) this season. I think we should be prepared for many more main character deaths next season. Eleven, Steve, and Will are the biggest ones. I could see all three dying in a blaze of glory. Steve protecting his kid. (Cause he’s the babysitter). Eleven facing down and trying to kill Vecna and failing while dying in the process. Then end it as it began. With Will. Have him be the sacrifice, the one thing need to stop Vecna. Have him be Vecna’s opposite. Let him strike the final blow, but giving his life in the process. After this epic season, assume that NO ONE is safe!
Stranger is one of the best shows ever written. It captures all the magic and nostalgia of the 80s…… the casting and personality of the characters is perfect!!! Not a single one of the actors in this show give less than a perfect performance through and through. I wish this show could magically go on and on and on. Simply perfect!!!
The first few piano notes being played, make my heart crumble for a moment, until the beat kicks in and Eddie rocks out on his guitar! 😢 ❤️🔥🖤❤️🔥🖤❤️🔥
DUDE, I LOVE YOUR STUFF SO MUCH, THIS IS TRULLY EXTRAORDINARILY AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL! 😭💕 Captures Eddie's and Max's soul and character in mindblowing way!
Damn I really liked Eddie, among the new entries since Season 1 he was by far my favourite, he had that comic vibe that both Steve and Dustin have, he fit perfeclty in the group
I cried for the both of them. Eleven, Eddie, and Max were the MVPs of Stranger Things 4. I’m seriously hoping Max is truly alive and not rendered paralyzed or permanently comatose. I know she’ll probably be a vessel for The mindflayer from what it looks like… but I have hope for my favorite character.
Can't wait for you to do Separate Ways like the second last episode ending.. it was an epic battle prep music score only Samuel Kim can bring it to the next level
this season gave me emotional whiplash. I theorized Eddie was going to die & probably Max because it makes sense for their character arcs. Eddie runs away from his issues & he needed a scene where he stood up & faced issues head on. Max's character would've come full circle as she hated Billy & then after his death, she couldn't forgive herself for wanting him dead. Peace in death would have been found for her & perhaps she would've reunited with Billy in the afterlife. Mike telling Eleven he loves her was something I half expected. I knew it was going to happen, but I thought it would have been with the "actions speak louder than words" idea. I love that instead he made the choice to encourage her & tell her the truth. "the truth will set you free" was the main message there for me. Henry telling Eleven that she made him was oddly emotional for me. the Duffer Bros did an amazing job humanizing a villain & making the audience feel some type of empathy for him. overall, this season saved the show for me after Billy's death cause he was my favorite character. also side note, the scenes with Billy made me tear up. the acting, especially knowing it was done with him & a director on a zoom I think, was phenomenal! ah! I loved the graveyard scene & the flashbacks of the good, happy memories. plus, it doesn’t hurt if Dacre is really nice to look at lmao
Max and Eddie are more alike than the eyes meet. They are cast out with strong convictions, and they sacrificed themselves for others while they could care less. They are the definition of heroes...
Best! Season Rocked like Eddie did with that Demon solo! I loved how he remembered he was a runner and he said he wasn't a hero. Then he did what we all wish to do and stand proud like a warrior knowing death is coming and face it with No problems. So what I did cry and so what I did cheer for Nancy like it was all riding on her to save us.
