S4V2 Theory: The upside down was initially just a empty space with red fog and mountains, until Henry was sent there by Eleven. He created Hawkings from his mind and controls all Demogorgons and other creatures. Since he was obsessed with time and life not having a meaning, he stopped time the day he entered the upside down. That‘s why it‘s stuck in November 6th 1983.
I’m convinced we’ll learn his “sensitivity” as a kid somehow caused him to connect with the mind flayer, who gave him his psychic powers. That would explain why the lights flicker whenever he uses his powers. That doesn’t happen when Eleven uses her powers
What if the mindflare didn’t exist yet, think about it yes the upside down existed but it doesn’t mean the mind flare existed as well,we can’t confirm he did it not, vecna was the first human to enter and transform, eleven didn’t escape that night she sent 1 into the upside down,we can tell because she made contact with the demigorgan later on,so what if the upside down existed but the only creatures that existed was the demigorgans, the when 001 went in he created the mind flare to cause havoc which in term let’s him see elevens powers, think about it the mind flare doesn’t care for evens powers it keeps coming and coming, but it isn’t till she loses her powers that 001 chooses to attack which makes no sense why wouldn’t the mind flare keep attacking unless he was controlled by 001 himself, since it resembles a spider it makes sense that 001 created the mind flare but it’s just a theorey
@@JulioHernandez-vi9to idk, I believe that something is goin on with the mind flare rn. Seems to not be in sight when Steve, and everyone is in the upside down. If u watch the trailer for volume 2, u see hopper is in a room with a dusty tornado locked in a room, which could be the mind flare somehow imprisoned, like the demogorgon, in Russia
I thought in the first 2 seasons they said eleven got her powers because of experiments done on her parents, like the parents taking LSD and other drugs
I don’t think he meant to leave victor creel alive the only reason victor did not die was because he heard the music from the living room. But Henry mistook it for not being powerful enough yet. You can tell that he realized this mistake when max got away from him. He realizes the power that music, friends and love have on people something he has never been able to understand. Also if you notice when he had his showdown with eleven at the end of episode 7. Eleven recalls what he says about channeling a memory that is sad and angry. When she channels that memory she actually is weaken (hence way he can easily throw her around) but all of a sudden she recalls another memory one of her mother telling her she loves her. A memory fueled by live this memory helps eleven overpower Henry.
She wasn't weakened. It just wasn't powerful enough to overcome 001's power attack against her. Remember that she used the same method to overpower 002. Her enhanced method of finding the happy memory brought her more strength.
I really thought he was gonna be a good guy when he was helping Eleven, actually felt sorry for him when he was being tortured too🤦♂️ that was a big plot twist
um... you thought he'd end up good with those psycho eyes of his? 😅 it's all in the eyes, bro. he had an unsettling menace even at the first intro shot
@@Crysalis-bd9so it wasn't just the eyes. Yeah at 1st I thought he was bad but then he end up trying to help 11, giving her advice and tips, so I end up changing my mind and thought he was a good guy, and on top of that he was was being torchered by poppa, so that made me think he really was on the good side, then the plot twist like a mfka! Who would've thought he was that evil kid killing his entire family and end up being Vecna at the end. Sooooo, yeah, that was from my take in watching the Strangers Things🤷♂️
i personally don't think that henry left victor alive to be framed. as he said, he didn't know the limit to his powers, so just before being able to kill victor, henry passed out due to overstimulation, resulting in a coma. victor then got arrested because he was the only family member standing.
@@KDBetter doesn't make sense to have his dad in the trance, and when is dad expalins how he escaped it was due to the music, not Henry passing out.... That is either a plot hole, vecna just lies (which he has been doing to El, or bad writing
@@lilymae7516 Actually, the dad was able to resist because of the music, which was unexpected by Henry who, as a response, had to put more energy into maintaining the trance... resulting in him drying himself out of power and falling into a coma. So the dad did not escape directly because of the music but because Henry passed out, even if that's what he believed. And the dad didn't know that it was Henry all along either.
Henry got his abilities similar to eleven who got it because her mother was given drugs while she was pregnant . His father Victor was in the war. If you listened to Hopper he said earlier in the show that during the war they would make them work with agent orange. He also mention that people would have after effects from all the exposure with the chemicals such as birth defects or illness. This would be a good reason to why Henry has his powers
This thumbnail is a huge spoiler. Ive seen the whole season so it hasnt spoiled it for me but id hate for anyone who hasnt caught up yet to pass this video in their youtube feed. Edit: One week later and the thumbnail has changed to be spoilerless. Thanks for being mindful of others BrainPilot. Very cool.
I knew that the man helping 11 at the facility was 001 but him being the kreel kid was a big shocker. Also when he tricked 11 into removing the probe from his neck was masterful writing as well. Made her think it was just a gps tracker but in reality it limited his abilities so he could not hurt anyone and escape.
His backstory is so interesting honestly and I love that music and happy memories hold the power to bring someone back. He's a true socio/pyscopath honestly.
This is one "twist" I actually saw coming. When I saw that Vecna resembled a human his body and speech, the way he used his mind / powers, and the way they were hinting at what had happened to number one I knew it was number one.
I hope 008 comes back in Volume 2. Her character didn’t make much sense though because as we saw, all the other kids had telekinetic abilities, whereas 008 didn’t possess those at all, only the power to make people see things that weren’t actually there.
Well with season 4 we know now how her character makes sense :) as Henry is the original "gifted" it is told that he has the three main abilities known : moving things with his mind, entering the memory of any living creature, and sending hallucinations. Eleven inherited the first and second ability, Kali the last. Kali could have been the only one who could develop this ability. Or Eleven, now knowing that she is One's clone, could unlock this third ability herself...
I hope so too, people hated her unnecessarily. Her character wasn't so well written but nothing to absolutely hate on. I think 001 tried to groom 008 as well to get out of the lab and kill all those people, but Kali being a bit older probably didn't fall for it or at least she didn't take out that chip in his neck to basically free him.
I thought there was something fishy about Henry from the first moment we learn about his supposed death : Victor says he was in a coma for days before dying. That doesn't work with the way the other victims die, including his mother and sister. And with the chronology of the events, I immediatly thought he could be one of Brenner's kids. I didn't think he would be the origin of the program, though.
I think that he most definitely was being genuinely kind to her because he saw himself in her but I think he was manipulating Eleven and planning on getting her to take out the implant that took his powers.
But I mean he never asked her to remove the chip. It was from her own kindness that she offered to take it out, he just got lucky. I don’t think he manipulated her
I never thought Vecna was Henry kreel, I was really surprised when they revealed that, I think Henry's powers are connected with the mind flayer, I don't know how he got them but I think with more analysis on him we might know, or maybe volume 2 of season 4 might reveal that.
I don’t think his powers were connected to the mind flare at all, elevens aren’t connected to it as well, they could’ve just developed powers on their own with no influence, but for all we know vecna created the mind flare, what are the odds it resembles a spider,my guess is,the demigorgans existed as long as the upside down has existed, think about it 11 sent vecna in and he was transformed,11 didn’t escape that same night, she was captured and studied on and found the drmigorgan, which would link 11 to vecna, vecna could’ve created the mindflare to test 11 powers behind the shadows, think about it mind flare resembles a spider, why is it till 11 loses her powers does vecna appear he could’ve appeared any other time, and it isn’t till 11 that the mind flare isn’t in charge, theory is that vecna created the mind flare to test and kill 11 that’s why he’s been behind the scenes
@@JulioHernandez-vi9to that doesn’t make sense. Season 2 explain that mind flayers goal was to spread and take over the real world. If vecna created the mind flayer why didn’t the mind flayer go straight for 11. The mind flayer didn’t meet 11 until the last episode of szn 2. which is why in szn 3 the mind flayers mission was to kill 11 cuz he knew she was a threat. 11 lost her powers while fighting the mind flayer in szn 3 but she didn’t kill it. so the mind flayer knew she lost her powers. And since everything is connected in the upside down through the mind flayer, the mind flayer couldve alerted vecna that this was his chance kill 11 now that shes powerless
If you really look at it two of the other subjects defeated Henry Creel during the massacre, 11 and 13. In many of the scenes of the playback for 11 to get her power back, the door to 13's room was always close and when 11 was walking toward the play area during the massacre you can see 13's door behind her still close. So 11, 13 and Dr. Brenner survived the massacre.
@@Keron51 when henry talked to eleven earlier about the time her mother came for her he "eight was still here" meaning she had already left the lab way before the massacre
I feel like his motivation to become evil was really dumb. There was no sign of his family being dysfunctional or toxic. It was just very “I hate everyone and this world lemme be evil”.
Both the writing and Jamie's acting really struck such an impressive balance for the backstory with Henry! I feel like a lot of times you'll get archetypes for villains where they're either humanized to the point where they almost become an "antihero" kind of figure, or at least a tragic figure that people can sympathize with, or alternatively, they're presented as "born evil" with no real development or nuance. With Henry, it's clear that he was born antisocial, but you also see how his circumstances and environment contributed to his growing rage that ultimately turned into outright evil. None of that's to downplay what he became, of course, but just to recognize that they did a good job giving that trajectory a more human origin. In his interactions with young El, too, Jamie's performance was SO good because it treaded that line between his sinister intentions and a genuine kinship that he'd felt with El perfectly. I've seen a lot of people comparing him to Voldemort/Tom Riddle, and while it's true they're very similar archetypes on paper, I think Henry/Vecna is better realized, which is super impressive given how they managed better nuance for him in like 5 minutes of backstory and monologue than Voldemort had in 7 whole books!
So were all the other test subject created from Henry Creel’s DNA? There was a scene where he said after Brenner realized he couldn’t control Henry he decided to “make more” with his powers. I guess that means all the kids he killed may have been his biological offspring
You're forgetting it was revealed in one of the first seasons that 11's mother was a subject of project mk ultra. I think there's a pattern of parents going through something that affect the kids as it mirror's hop's story with his kid when he worked with agent orange and that affected his daughter's health. Maybe Victor did something in ww2 that could've opened up henry's powers?
@@yvessaulnier8986 YESSSS, it was mentioned indeed, in fact the sister of 011 moms said that she even was consuming LSD because and for MK ultra project to see if she could “expand her mind” with it but she didn’t know she was pregnant at the time, and made us believe that’s why 011 had her powers, so basically for drugs and experiments, so mixing the original story with now Henry kreel would be very interesting, I hope the writers don’t fuck it up and don’t actually forget about what they wrote on the first season 😭😭😭 about why elevens powers and sht
@@yvessaulnier8986 what I never understood is Elevens mom makes the lights flicker in s2. It made me thing she had some abilities herself? I didn’t get how she was able to do that and make the t.v static
I think Henry’s powers turned evil when they moved to Hawkins. The scene when Henry is a boy and the lights start flickering, he seemed confused as if he didnt do it himself. I think there is an older evil spirit in the attic. There was a wedding dress, a baby crib and an old rocking/wheelchair. I think the house has an evil past and it prayed on Henry’s powers. Think about it, Henry didn’t turn evil until he saw those spiders. And thats always the first thing Vecna’s victims see.
Henry explained to Eleven that mankind is always busy with time, eat, drink, sleep repeat. And also said that all spiders are the gods of the Earth and they should be treated with respect. So his big plan has Vecna is to bring the Mind-Flayer,it's democreatures into Earth to invade, conquer and destroy humanity.
I figured out that 001 and Henry were the same as soon as 001 popped up as the orderly however, I never suspected that Henry kreel would be the same person as vecna. That blew my damn mind
I suspected Henry to be Vecna when Victor creel said that he went into a coma it didn't make sense for me why kill the mother and daughter but put the kid in a coma. I caulked it up to fear but had my suspicions. Everyone knew that 001 was vecna that was obvious
Theory: In season 4 episode 6 when Eleven is playing with the Plinko game in the rainbow room and One is talking to her, she drops one of the pucks down and it lands in number 6 upright. In that shot, you can see 4, 5, and 6 are like that. 7 is missing and 8 is laying flat. A little further in that scene and one drops his directly down flat on 1 just like 8. Back in season 2 episode 7 you get the feeling that 8 is kinda bad and is using bad memories and hate to fuel her powers. One told Eleven that she needed to channel “something that made him sad and also angry” the same exact thing eight told eleven to do. I feel like eight and One are connected and that she will return. Me and my friends figured this out together
Even if it makes sense thematically, I seriously doubt we’ll see much more of 8. That episode was heavily panned and audiences didn’t react well to any of those characters. Putting characters people like to watch >>> a twist imo.
@@DoubleStudentLoans trust me. That episode with her in season 2 fell very very flat but just because it wasn’t received well by audiences doesn’t mean they’ll cut a part of the story out. 8 might have a role to play with one before she ran away from the lab. We’ll just have to wait and see though
I agree, 8, I think, will come back. Her powers mirror 01 in every way, however I’m wondering if she will either trick Vecna in the end with his own game, or help him face himself and escape from hate. It’s hard to tell. We don’t know what her experience with El taught her or how she moved forward after that. She also plays a roll in the first book, so I think she’s important. 01,08,11 all have a connection , and her mother sent her there to meet 8 for a reason. Also, If your looking at numbers check out the room number Murray and Joyce stay in, and also Eddie”s uncles trailer. Addition and subtraction land on 8 and the Duffers love playing with clues.
Number1 could totally be 11’s dad….. think he’s old enough… heck he could be the father of all those kids and that’s why they are called siblings and have powers.
He probably is, but the problem with that is that he's around 15 years older than 002 which is kind of odd since he would be a minor when 2 was born 🥲 let's hope the whole breeding thing was via blood or something and not sexua! abuse bc he has enough traumas already
Brilliant job, James Campbell is a captivating actor, I really loved his character before all the evil, I knew in my gut he wasn't going to stay good and really hoping he would at the same time 🙂 thank you for the video 👍🇦🇺🕊.
I have to admit, Henry’s backstory is a bit tragic and sad…I mean, he was just a kid when his powers emerged, and something horrible must’ve happened to him that made him distrust humans. Hope we get a spin off with him as the main character…
Honestly i just don't understand why Henry is so evil. He had a family who loved him and he killed his mother and sister in the most cruelest way, ruining his father's life. He is someone who is pure evil and doesn't deserve redemption.
He saw how his father dropped bombs on innocent civilians such as the baby crib on fire but the family still pretended to be the perfect nuclear family. I guess he couldn’t handle seeing his father kill and infant and pretend it’s okay
@Kensin. I'm pretty much convinced this is not the case at all. I'm not even sure that "the upside down" existed before the confrontation with El. They might use it as a weird reason in the ending but it would make less sense. Henry view on the world explained his own physical struggle but also beliefs. And he isn't wrong. The world is in disorder thanks to humans. This is - 100% - true. The cruelty of how we gain food today is beyond hellish proportions. The ideology how everything in this world is created to control. Is also true. The ways a human life is about education - job - pension - death is true as well. Also the weirdest part is how we still have the same look on life as thousands years ago. Not in every manner, but in many. Humans learn we are incapable of doing mostly anything but still news papers shows us daily updates about everything. Does any news articles gives us any ways to change things? No. Instead we go our job, at our office and talks about things that doesn't really concern our state in the world. We elect people to bring justice in the world, but instead are puppets controlled by people outside the public space. And we aren't stupid. We all knows this is happening, all time. But it easier to forget the cruelty and harshness in reality and focus on a baby's smile or a daughter first step in the grass field. We are constantly also manipulated by media and cooperation's to act and behave as they want us too. And if we don't they put even more effort to control us. Not the individuals thoughts - but the group thinking. … There is other ways too. I seen a family life on a boat in Caribbean, just vloging their life and having fun. Just like Henry they see the world as possibility to do other things as well. A father called him "sensitive". I would more or less call his father someone who wanted to control his child. And when that didn't happen what was about to happen? They wanted to send him to the "prison" to be studied. Like a lab rat. A place where they torture him, or manipulate him until he displayed the "powers" he had. And what did they do thereafter? They created copies of him. All subjects from 02-13 are copies of Henry created inside artificial way. They also locked him in. You notice how old "Henry" is? Imagine being forced to be a prisoner in such a place as that was. Only surrounded by copies of yourself. And being forced to be a "guard". What I'm saying is... just adding the spoiled notion that "Oh poor henry was controlled by a mind flayer" would remove the whole impact on ... "Something is different, lets study it, then kill it" mentality that was present during 1950s in hospitals and mental institutions .
When I heard the term mind flayer and Henry's powers, it reminded me of dissociative identity disorder. And Dr. Brenner's methods were traumatic, given El's reactions. With Vecna saying he incorporates the minds of his victim's, that reminds me a DID treatment protocol where the integrate all the identities.
I Seriously Think Henry Creel is El's Biological father, as it was never shown that who her father was and it was never even mentioned who her father might have been. This theory also makes sense becoz she was the only one powerful enough to weaken him and banish him to the Upside Down. 001 IS 011'S Father.
Or maybe it's just that a happy memory is more powerful than a sad/angry memory like Henry suggested? Since Henry seems incapable of feeling or understanding what real happiness/love is he has always thought that anger/sadness is what triggers the powers.
I don't think he was "kind to her because she was bullied like he was." I think he saw it as a weakness because he felt weak when he was bullied. So he knew he could manipulate her with that. I don't think he had a moment of kindness in his life.
There is something to do with “fairy tales”. Both Victor Kreel & Dr Brenner said something about fairy tales. The whole feeling of the show is “going down the rabbit hole”. The daughter is named Alice, it shows rabbits, etc. Just things I noticed.
|| I have a *Theory!* || ⚠️ *WARNING* ⚠️ *CONTAINS SPOILERS* _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ So, as you know, Henry ( *AKA, 001 / Vecna* ) created the *Upside Down* (At least I think so) which means, he created all the creature there. So let's move back to *Season 3* They had to fight the *Mind Flayer* and, eventually, they won. But, I noticed the *shape* of the Mind Flayer, and focused on it. Let's forward on to Season 4 where Nancy gets (Hypnotized or whatever) and finds out Vecna's backstory, (So did El) he mentioned how he found *spiders* fascinating, so if he created every creature in the upside-down.. he created, the *Mind Flayer.* So, notice how the shape of the Mind Flayer, it's like a spider 🕷️, so, does this mean, in season 5, there will be other *Spider Related* creatures? 🤔 That's my theory! Don't come at me if I spoiled it for you, I warned you about the spoilers.. :/
This was amazing! Amazing fucking twist!!!! Gave me goosebumps and had my jaw dropped. I knew somehow he wasn’t a good guy that he had a trick up his sleeve. And when they revealed 001 on vecna…just wow! Best season!
I swear this storyline looks sooo similar to Harry Potter, who defeated Voldemort because of love and he also was alike to him, just like 011 to 001, just think about it …
My bf didn't belive me that Henry was Vecna... I told him when the dad told the story the mom, dad, and sister shown to have visions, curses, ect... and when the boy "died" it remined me of the cover up in season 1 with Will when they used a stuffed doll in the morgue.... plus Henry's dad was only shown to see the daughters face when she died!! I told him it waa sus.... i also now believe 1 helped 8 out, I also do not think she is a good person, we will see tho.
@@pi.log10 ... Not true! Eleven's father was Andrew. Eleven's mother was injected by the blood of Henry Creel by Dr.Brenner when she was a few weeks pregnant. Some goes with the other subjects.
Just a theory, but i think that 001 is eleven dad because he should be around 24 and her mom made eleven. The only reason why eleven won that fight is because shes the daughter of 001 which makes her the strongest because 001 was the strongest person in that lab
Vecna aka Henry doesn't like been order around by others. The mind flayer may most likely be using him and manipulating his thinking that he is in control. Knowing the mind flayer as been the God of that world and has been shown time and time again how he was able to use will body and Billy.
001 is quite manipulative himself. I don't think the Mind Flayer could take him over, just like he wasn't able to take over 011. Vecna might be working with it but I think he could betray it at any time.
@@brandonreed09 is possible, but knowing how he consider spider as god. The mind flayer may in his opinion feels more like God and that is where I feel he would not betray it. I maybe wrong, but I do wonder where and what is the mind flayer is planning 😁
I never would have guessed HE would be vecna. He was the only guy I liked back at the mk ultra lab with Eleven. I guess that chip really was holding him back.
IMAGINE IF IT WAS THE EXCACT OPPOSITE Like if millie Bobby brown was venca and Henry was innocent (like if millie wasn't auditioning for El but she was auditioning for vecna , and Henry was auditioning for El-Jane
And that explains why he festers guilt in max, victor, Chrissy Fred Nancy of abandonment and abuse/killing because he is trying to send some message with the visions he implants and why he obsessed with trauma, he has been through it and like 001 said to el, he gets his power from angry and sad memories, perhaps trauma may be the origin for his powers and the first time we see Henry creel ever use his powers was with the grandfather clock
But if Eleven caused Henry Creel to become Vecna by knocking him into the upside down, why did a Vecna go after Max, Fred, Nancy, Chrissy, and not go after Eleven for revenge?
Vecna's plan to destroy humanity's clockwork individualism of eat, work, play, sleep repeat culture. By selecting 4 kids in Hawkins with their darkest memories. Enter into their bodies through their minds by using spiders and clocks based from his childhood years. And get their souls into his dreamscape and suck their minds dry. Collecting enough energy in order to have Mind Flayer, him and it's democreatures escape to invade Earth.
henrys mother knows something was going on in him and his powers and maybe henrys mothers knows about dr brenner, when henry said that her mother called expert or someone and she wanted to lock him away maybe her mother told brenner about henry creel thats why brenner took henry after murder because why would he take him? what is the reason he wants henry? or he already knows henry has power
Yes, he says his mother called Brenner because she knew Henry had something to do with their demonic hallucinations. "But my mother somehow knew. Knew it was I who was holding up that mirror. She called a doctor, an expert. She wanted him to lock me away, to fix me.. ..And so she left me with no choice. No choice but to act. To break free.. ..I did not yet know my limits. And it nearly killed me. He was arrested, blamed for the death of my sister and mother, just as I had planned. But I was far from free. I woke up from my coma only to find myself placed in the care of a doctor, the very doctor I had hoped to escape. Dr. Martin Brenner."
Wait the same thing that happened to Henry/001 happened to 011 in s4 e3. Henry creel committed a crime and was taken by dr Brenner whom he hoped to escape meaning that he was l already seeing him beforeZ In s4 e3, eleven almost gets arrested but dr Brenner saves her so she could get her powers back.
Wouldn’t make much sense rn, they could do that for the series finale in season 5 but there’s not much time left this season to drag her into the story
I’m still not very satisfied on how he has powers. Other commenters are saying it may be from chemicals when Victor was at war which is 100x better than he was just born with them. Especially in ST, most things are explained “scientifically” like how Eleven has powers from Brenner’s experiments or how the monsters are coming from an alternate reality. No one “just has powers” so I’m convinced there has to be more to it
i assume brenner lied to gov about 001's life/death. at least the army guy seems to think 011 killed the people in the lab in '78. and did he make the same fatal flaw not finishing off papa? or was he leaving him to be blamed after seeing it as a more torturous alternative?
He would’ve been in his 20s so he could be 11’s dad that’s my theory like 11s mom look like she was in her 20s maybe they got together in the lab she was a worker
He had more then 13 kills, killed numbers 2 until 10 so that's 9 at least 3 guards which is 12 and his mother and sister which would make 14, I'm guessing there are more then 11 subjects in the institute so I'm guessing and also alot more then just 3 guards so I'm guessing his kill count would be close to 20 or 30 before becoming vecna
one theory i have, doenst sound too farfetchd either, what if henry is somehow related to will, its possible he would be joyce byers half brother that she knew about but never really got to know. theres so much comparisons between will & henry makes you belueve they are somehow related, i wanted to theorize that maybe he is wills biological father, but that wouldnt be possible if he was w/ brenner the whole time from when he was 12 up until el put him in the upside down. hope they go that route somehow would make for an interesting backstory.
I am still really confused. If eleven was inside of the machine in the middle of the desert in Hawkins how could she have indirectly turned henry into vecna
she was reliving her past memories in the tank. she created the gateway that sent henry into the upside down, which the environment turned him into vecna.
What episode was it when he has eleven basically running in a time loop around the facility just messing with her head and making her see things that weren’t there? I think it was one of her first times, possibly the first in the iso chamber. That’s when my suspicion started to rise bc Vecna showed he has those abilities with Chrissy and the second victim.
I can see that Henry was born a psychopath. Even though he was born in a loving family, his mother was the one who screwed up big time. Yeah I know that Henry was already harming and killing animals. I know that he was inflicting fear upon his own family, and his mother eventually found out. But that's no excuse for the mother to start hating him and to judge him as a monster. In my opinion, it was the mother's job to have the courage to reason with Henry, to lecture him, and to let him know that he shouldn't be using his powers to harm anyone. If Henry wouldn't stop at what he was doing, then that when you have no choice but to get behavior therapists involved to help a psychopathic kid. The fact is she didn't do that. Instead, she called people up to have him be put away instead of trying to get him help the right way. Though I mustn't forget that back in 50s 60s, and 70s, they barely had behavior therapists treating those with APD. But because of Henry's mother not handling her son the right way, that gave Henry the accuse to kill her. Even after he had killed her, I was angry and upset that he chose to kill his little sister before he had tried to kill his father. The poor father did not deserve to be put behind bars for a crime he didn't commit. Even though Henry was locked up and imprisoned, there wasn't any behavior therapists there for him. No one taught him to understand why empathy and compassion is important. No one taught him why it's important to be good. Instead it was the evil Dr. Brenner/Papa who came along to control Henry and to train him to become a possible weapon. If Henry broke the rules and didn't take orders, he would get punished and mistreated very badly. The same thing happens to the other children which Dr. Brenner took from their families and kept them as his prisoners. As for Eleven who was mistreated very badly by Dr. Brenner, there was a time when she didn't easily trust anyone after she escaped the Hawkens Lab. She acted like she wanted to harm people, but she didn't. Instead, she found love, kindness, loyalty, and friendship from Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Max. She even had found love, guidance, and protection from Hopper and Joyce. If she hadn't ended up experiencing those wonderful things, there would have been a chance that she would have acted just like Henry. To become a monster who hates the whole world just like Henry.

And the whole literally trying to destroy the world thing.
Could someone explain the age gap of henry’s human form? When he killed his mother and sister he was maybe 13, and in the lab he’s maybe 20 years old. The time between those two periods is about 20 years, so would that make henry about 30 years old?
Is it said outright anywhere that he's only young 20-something in the lab? I don't think so, right? Jamie himself is 33, he just looks young, so I just figured it's probably supposed to be in the show as well that he's earlier 30-something, which would line up timeline-wise :)
0:31 did he smile omg first time dude he would never smile or reveal or express his emotions (I talking about Henry btw) 7:03 dude she’s literally the youngest and Henry is the oldest
I dont think henry is actually a villain, i think the mind flayer needed/needs him strictly for his powers so it can use his powers to enslave the demo-creatures and whatever else it needs to in order to push its plan into motion. I think he was the first Flayed, like you can see his whole character change once his powers are used again after his power surpresser is removed. What if its the powers that make ppl easier for the MF to reach and interact with, like their brain waves and frequencies or whatever cross the dimension threshold easiest. We see the MF control individuals in the RightWayUp reality(001/Vecna couldnt trancend dimensions yet) but its slow and time consuming and needed an able body ie:Billy to move things along. +I think social isolation is a big factor with the mindflayer, Henrys powers surfaced after moving to hawkins, where he was viewed as weird and different even within his own family. 11 was socially isolated within ger peer group as well as bullied. Will was also viewd as different among peers, and im guessing growing up with lonnys abuse due to him seeming queer, he probably also feels isolated withing the party even if just subconsciously(we also see that he self iscolates when distressed during that one Halloween scene). It can even be applied to Billys character, he shows up in season two and throws himself into the New King of hawkins and we can see him being the center of attention in the house party scene but anyone whos gone to highschool knows thats really only on a superficial level, that plus his abusive fathers treatment of him and behavior hes interalised due to that all probably dont help in forming meaningful connections with peers, all of which lead to social isolation even while appearing the opposite. All of that being said, i think henry is/was an innocent kid whos role in life was restricted to only ever be used by those around him that deem him a useful tool in their plans(dr. Brenner and the mindflayer). I have a lot of feelings about this lmao
I also heard a theory that fourth person survived and that was number 10, because Brenner had a training with him at that time. And there is also a theory that Eddie is actually number 10, have you noticed him being kinda similar to 10 and also wearing a watch on the place where his number is supposed to be?
I'd like to see some kind of "fact" number in his kill count pre-Vecna. I believe it's more than 13. Hell, there were 17... I think... Children in Hawkins Lab at the time of Henry's appearance...
So 001 Was a Source For Eleven and Other kids To Get Gifted those Abilities That Explains 008 When 001 can Make people See Things I Really like This,I'm happy I got into Stranger things.
Henry, as bill, was probably gay. We have some hints, like his sensibility, a trait his father noted, as did bill's mom. His mannerisms, even his voice, his resentment, everything. They are the two faces of the same coin.
None of those childen he butchered were in his way. He just liked killing people weaker than him. No matter how powerful he is his peronality is that of a bully and that is pathetic. Look at the way he killed his four victims (all kids, of course), twisting all their bones and gouging out their eyes. It's like something a little child would do to their action figures. Henry isn't just evil, he's stunted.
tbh henry not rlly as bad as we say he just wanted to make his own world where it wasnt just wake up up work sleep and die but he was willing to take out anyone who got in his way but he did slaughter innocent people but it was painless for them atleast cuz he put them in a trance
I would say Henry's parents caused all this.If they treated him right,he would have never killed them,he would never met Dr breaner or eleven,he would never find the flayer.
Henry Creel's parents Victor and Victoria Creel knew about their son's psy powers. So to keep his powers under wraps. They moved to a Victorian home in Hawkins,Ind.
Henry Creel was born with those powers. Or possibly some essence from Shadow Particles from another dimension enter into Henry's mind and develop these pay powers.
