Hey Josh! I really enjoyed this video! Also as a follow-up. I think a compelling video series could be developed around the concept of a tall climber setting problems that are tailored to their physical attributes, and observing how climbers of average height tackle them. You could showcase your unique abilities and advantages while demonstrating the ways in which height can be both an asset and a hindrance in the sport of climbing. After the climb is completed, you could provide a grade for the problem, followed by an assessment from those who attempted it regarding what they believe the problem's difficulty level to be. It would be an interesting showcase of the diverse range of skills and techniques employed by climbers of various heights and possibly show how inconsistent the grading system can be.
@@georgestone8099 yea I would be interested to see that too! Hopefully next time I do this there will be more people in the gym and we can get some more people on it 😊
No matter where you are in the world, the route setters will be using a Makita impact driver to put holds on the wall, no other brand is recognised in bouldering
Probably a very nice boulder, but personally I probably wouldn't like it or rate it very high. I'm more into static moves, so that start would be a big 'nope' for me, because of the start. For me, it is to the point of pushing things and going static even for dynos sometimes, but this one looks almost impossible to do static.
The Foot-slip-eventually-toe-catch-problem. Seems only fair to name it after the activity ppl spent the most time with...so this must be the most fun part, right? xDD
yea maybe you’re right. The more I tried it the more I realised it’s probably V6/7 but I also think it’s so hard to tell when it’s that type of move because it’s more coordination than anything.
@@JoshRundle slab will always be my first and biggest love …….(little old weak arms) 🧗🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ that Boulder looked a banger btw, I do love a wee run-sideways dyno thingy 👏🏻🔥🏴
Alright dude 🙂 you should call it either "rundle in the jungle" or "the swindon shinbar" 😂 Cool looking boulder mate, also how did you get on at boff?? Was trying that yellow to the left on the finals wall with you and my mate! Top g 👊🤟🤓
@@JoshRundle oh no way!!! 1 place out that's wounding mate!! I didnt even submit because I dropped the two yellows so was just like meh!! Well done anyway cheif was expecting to see you in final tbf was surprised! Good effort anyway bud! Ps your taller in the flesh 😳😂 like bloody stretch Armstrong man 😂
@@sirsendalot Yeah I was frustrated not to make it. 2 Silly mistakes on relatively easy boulders cost me finals but there you go that's comp climbing! Fair enough I've done that lots of times too. haha it's those giraffe genes 😂
