Very nice! But how about sound transfer? These tiles are very thin next to conventional ceiling tiles. Because of their thickness, the conventional tiles absorb sound. Your tiles seem like they'll have no effect on reducing noise from the floor above.
TwinMillMC use Sound Batt insulation above the ceiling, up to R-30. Believe it or not there is a difference between Sound Batt insulation and Thermal insulation. I know this from personal experience, I've been in the acoustical grid ceiling business for 38yrs.
