Man, that is a sharp looking bike. Just realized this video is 11 yrs old. There are plenty of these available for sale out there, it's inspiring what you can do with them.
Thanks for the kind words about my Black Beast. It was a great bike for sure. I put 92,000+ miles on it before I sold it for my current bike, a 2015 Harley Davidson Roadglide Special. Once again thanks for the kind words.
I never noticed all the smaller things like the steel lines and the acrylic plate for the phone. Nice stuff man hopefully ill start rivaling you soon...hopefully.
Well after putting 90,600 miles on this bike in four years time, it was time too let it go. I sold it and just purchased a new Harley Davidson 2015 Roadglide Special. Truly a great bike with all the bells and whistles.
+S Womack How are you finding the power/engine the the 2015 glide? I know the high-output 103 is supposed to be an improvement over the previous 103, but when I test drove the glide earlier this year, I was a bit let down. It felt peppy, but didn't have the grunt the Roadliner's beastly mill has. Of course, I wish the yamaha had 6 speeds - it needs an overdrive gear. I've been test driving baggers for a few months and I've settle on the Roadliner because of the bang for the buck factor. If I had more money though, I'd be getting the Road Glide.
The Yamaha 1900 113 C.I. is something special for sure. The new Harley 103 High Output is great once you remove the exhaust system and add a new exhaust system. Once you install a set of headers and some slip-on's the bike wakes up nicely for sure.
Ah, ok gotcha. Is that a "stage 1" upgrade? What exhaust/headers did you end up installing? One of the nice things about a Harley is the HUGE world of aftermarket hardware; so many options!
Mr. Womack I'm not sure if I asked you already but do you still have the Tour Pak or if you call it a Trunk from your STRAT? Or have you already sold it?
+S Womack Do you still have the lowers from the stratoliner? If so, would you be interested in selling them? Just purchased my first Stratoliner Deluxe, it's a 2010 & love the bike so far!
SWomack, did you have the PCS Chip seat on your Raider when you had it? Do you possibly have any pictures of it on the bike if so that you can post? Trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on it for my Raider! Thanks bro
How come Yamaha can make a big cruiser like the Stratoliner for less than $17k but Harley wants $22 to $25k for their big cruiser. What a rip off. Paying for the brand.
I'm not particularly a fan of them for other reasons, but they typically have a great look and sound. A lot of what they do is marketing, and it works. It's only a ripoff to people who want one and cannot afford one (I personally can afford one, but do not want one)... Considering Harley's market share, I'd say they've succeeded as their user base flocks to their bikes.
His third gear blew out at like 30k miles and yamaha covered it.. not the same with me, my 2010 raider blew third gear at 20k miles and yamaha told me to kick rocks.. was going to cost 3500 to fix, bike was worth 5500 max... fck these bikes, and to hell with yamaha
Wow! Outstanding job on this bike. Clean and super tasteful. I LOVE the understated theme and total lack of garish bling. This is exactly what I'd like to do when I finally get my Strat/Roadliner. Looks so killer. Kudos!
