What a great find this was! I attended a weekends straw-bale building course that Barbara was running at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales (about 15 years ago... if not more) I learnt so much from this lady and her team. It truly is an amazing building material and as the video demonstrates its proven longevity.

Barbara, Hi, Pauline here!..I wonder if you might answer this question that I haven't seen addressed much, why load bearing has some advantages to the frame construction seen more in the US and Canada.
@@fractalofgod6324 Yes thats fine, but you need to prep the surface of the bail first with several layers of clay, first lay being more like a slip clay mix.
