This one came from "Bed Bath and Beyond" but they're sold in so many places... try Walmart for this same size (3 gallons, I think?). It costs much less at Walmart too!
Hi Diane! Ginger ale is a good alternative, but I definitely recommend ginger BEER. Despite the name, it does NOT have alcohol and in my opinion, gives a better, real ginger flavor which makes for a better cocktail. The brands I like to use are Reed's or Trader Joe's. You can find both in the soda section of your grocery store, typically on their own little "specialty" shelf... not right alongside the standard sodas. Reeds is in Whole Foods and my health food store here in DC as well. Best of luck to you... and CHEERS!
