That riff, wow...simple yet evocative, especially when the smooth bass kicks in to supplement it, and the clearly-heard drums to support it all. Really cool tune, and fantastic production value. My favorite so far, though admittedly I haven't heard the entire album yet. 😎
I'm glad that we got one more album from The Stray Cats. As I understand, Brian Setzer's performing days may be over due to Tinnitus; a hearing disorder. He made plenty of great records over the years. People took his tremendous talent for granted. Now maybe people will look further into his substantial discography.
What a great song! This is the track that doesn’t have to b rockabilly to b a bad ass Stray Cats song. Reminiscent of “Storm the Embassy” this song is tough and gets u moving. Glad u Cats are back & thanks for letting all of us celebrate the 40 year anniversary with u!!
I saw Slim Jim Phantom at The Observatory and Lee Rocker at The Coach House, and still want to see Brian Setzer. It would be great to see them all together again. All so very talented!
Can’t believe I’m just realising this is Aztec from TKFLJ album... that is my favourite Brian solo song and now he’s revamped it with the Cats.. and probably is gonna do it live... in front of my face ... god help me😍😵
This years looking great for rock so far, Stray Cats, Black Keys, Raconteurs and even Tool are releasing new stuff. I heard the Pixies might release some stuff this year too!
Oh Stray Cats me despierto con esta genial música un domingo por la mañana y en vez que sea un día de descanso haces que sea un día de adrenalina que ya me pongo a bailar, es emocionante! Saludos desde Lima - Perú 🇵🇪
Always loved the Stray Cats since I was a kid when “Runnaway Boys” came out in the charts, the bass needs cranking up in this song in my opinion but bloody awesome any way😜
Parece que va a ser un disco variado, un poco de estilo de cada disco anterior. Esta canción bien podría pertenecer al disco Let's Go Faster. Potente Rock and Roll de carretera. Aunque también parece un "sobrante" del Ignition de Brian Setzer. Me gusta!!
