Just for reference "I am Ground" is a Korean name game as a way to introduce yourself. You'll see this a lot on idol shows (SKZ have played it on a few shows and in SKZ code) where they say someone's name and then pass it to another member - the game is a clapping/pattern game.

With Han's part I would guess he's showing his true self behind the mask/the blank sheet, and that true self might be a bit of a trainwreck, sure, but it is his best. So he's saying if his best doesn't suit you, he won't bother proving himself/fitting into any boxes. He won't settle for anything less than himself? Maybe?

I noticed a lot of numbers in this trailer. In Hyunjin’s scene he mentions 6,4,4 and in Bangchan’s scene there is a lot of numbers on that timer. When I searched up 6,4,4 the first thing that pops up is a matchstick puzzle. In the puzzle the number eight is involved. Idk what it means, but it has the number eight and when I think of eight I think of stray kids, so yeah lol. And if you plus all the numbers that appear on the timer in bangchans scene you get 64 as answer. If you divide 64 with 8 you get 8 as answer. I was really just playing around with these numbers, so I honestly don’t know if they have any secret or specific meaning lol. I also have a lot of other theories, but then it would be a very long comment 💀

there is already so many parallels stays made on twt from this trailer and other mvs skz has e.g hyunjins scenes look like give me ur tmi and seungmins looks similiar to gods menu with the tractor and leeknows part looks like the ending of the actual mainac mv..

as for when chan appeared…SAME

This looks incredible. And also shows once again that I.N is way too good at playing slightly unhinged characters. It's almost as good as his sassy Grandma, and I want that man to play a Joker-like villain at some point.

I was somehow reminded of the Maxident trailer when it comes to styles and atmosphere - urbain, distorted and punk/goth vibes - and I somehow got Joker vibes from Felix and I.N 🤷🏽‍♀ but it does kinda go with what you said about playing with expectations. Hyunjin reminded me of the give me your TMI MV and I think his recent two kids room with I.N, where he asked him to paint him a leather jacked and Hyunjin said that he tried but wasn't happy with the result - he wanted to paint I.Ns birth flower on the back...maybe the flower stands for something. As for the name - I was immediately reminded of Felix iconic line from Gods Menu 😅

To me this is giving we have found ourselves vibes. Almost all the scenes are references to previous skz things either mv's or other content. And too me it means we are who we are now because of what have come before we are the result of our past. At the same time it gives me we aren't going to change to be part of your definition of what we should be. like the excavator with the cars, hans line if this isn't what you expect I'm not doing what you want, in saying: i am i.n not ground, Bang chan saying "what?" after 'destroying' music and ignoring a time bomb that was already at 00:00. I also get Cheese vibes as if they are saying "I am who I am today because of my past. If you don't like it f-ck off"

I didn't read all the comments but here's my theory. If you notice recently K-pop is kind of going through an evolution/revolution. It seems like idols are taking a stand to fight for themselves and be themselves. You see this with BTS You saw it minimalistically with stray kids and you see it a lot in the lyrics with ATEEZ and Xdinary Heroes. This teaser in my opinion shows each member portraying themselves how the company wants them to be (perfect). then they let loose showing their true self. My fave is Han ripping off the perfect sky showing the image of a giant trainwreck. I see it as a F**K YOU to the expected standards. I may be totally wrong but this is just how I see it. ❤

Pagan you were really going through it LOL... I havent gone through the whole trailer slowly and scene by scene but just from a few watches I can see many parallels with other MVs and a lot of the writing is very inline with their over all themes about everyone and everywhere. Super excited for what apparently is currently digital album, which yes, I preordered already and will soon be a full album. Let's see what more comes from this, CAN'T WAIT! The center of the jacket is a flower, precisely I.N.'s birth flower or fave flower (can't remember) which references a leather jacket that Hyunjin was painting as a gift for I.N. and we saw in the background of some videos and pictures, but so far as we know he never finished it/ wasn't happy with the work.

This is what I’ve got so far. The I Am Ground game is how people introduce themselves sometimes so they are introducing themselves to us? There are loads of call backs to concepts songs and skz inside jokes/lore. Lix eating surgery stuff isn’t new, i think in the Maxident trailer he had a lollipop (not sure about that one) and in give me your tmi they had chocolates as bombs. They also had that chocolate factory fan meet concept. For I.N they had a tickle game when promoting for ‘the sound’ I think where each member had to stay a still as a statue whilst the others tickled him. They have also had museum/ art gallery themed concepts before such as ‘chill’ and ‘backdoor’ Changbinnie in the rain with an umbrella harkens back to Han acting like he was in the rain whilst twirling down the street with an umbrella in the Maxident trailer, also being a romantic also links back to the Maxident era. The pay phone is a nod to winter falls no doubt and the baseball bat could be a call back to Noeasy trailer. Hyunjin with the suites makes me thing of ‘give me you tmi’ plus that Hyunjinnie is super into fashion. The kids also visited a high end tailor when they were in England a few years back so it could be a reference to that as well. Of cause we all know Hyunjinnie’s love for painting. For Han, a part from the billboard reminding me of ‘all in’ with the billboard being on fire I have no clue. With Seungminnie, the drive in movie reminds me of be-me unveil where they are on a car watching happier times up on the big screen and the excavator goes back to ‘God’s Menu’ mv. (Also Seungmin little story is the only on that really made sense to me, he wanted to go to the drive in move, he brought a huge bag of popcorn which he’s dragging behind him but he’s not allowed in cause he isn’t a car. So he get’s an excavator hence he ‘wins’). Lix being a conductor called back to ‘the sound’. Channie and the bomb brings back ‘finding skz god edition’ opening and ‘give me you tmi’. Not sure about the three pianos and them being on fire, maybe ‘the sound’ again. Apart from his hashtag ‘Lee know is cute’ I have no idea bout any other lore or concept call backs for his section. And for the last part where there seems to be two versions of each members, well that really isn’t new at all, there are loads of references to them being multiple versions from multiple universes throughout their discography. So yeah, that’s all I got. Also love Lee know with the long curled/ wavy hair.

I think this album will be someone completely new and unusual and will have a lot of variety: the themes in the trailer keep changing, especially with changbin's part where he says he's a romantic then breaks everything-maybe that's the kind of music we will get? Maybe they will have a lot of different styles in this album and cover many themes :) I'm so excitedddd
