Thank you for recognising Lee Know's vocal ability. He may have started as part of DancerRacha in Stray Kids but eventually, he has grown into a vocalist that Bang Chan can rely on, as he is often now given parts that showcase what he can do vocally. Let's not limit what these guys can do. They are all talented and hard working so it's not that surprising that the can excel in anything they set their minds into. Good job SKZ!

Lee know really brought it with limbo. THOSE VOCALS 🤌🤌

Much like the song Silent Cry, the upbeat is supposed to hide away the sad meaning of the song. Jus like the lyrics “pretending to be unaffected, just like that… you can show the quiet tears you’ve been hiding.” Basically meaning that without ever looking at the lyrics you would generally think its a groovy/sexy song when it’s really not. You would have to look at it deeply. Just like with a person. You would think they are okay by the way they put on a smile but looking at them deeply, they are sad.

My fav part of Limbo is the last line, Quietly talking to myself, but he's singing it out so loudly. I just love that.

Lee Know has worked hard on his vocals and it shows, he’s come such a long way since their debut and could totally be main vocalist.

Maybe Lino’s song ends so abruptly as a nod to the title, leaving us in limbo

This is a reaction I am looking for. VERY VERY GENUINE and not sugarcoating everything like majority of reaction channels do. Pointing out flaws and giving opinions is what a reactor should do. I hate those who react to my kids and all they care about is getting notice by chan.

The way Lee Know ends that song is so him. it makes me laugh every time. Also, Bang chan said his song was about wifi, so that also makes me laugh every time I hear it. These boys are always trolling us. (And we love them for it)

I think your analysis is excellent. I don't even agree with all of it, but it is well reasoned, and based on legitimate thoughts and opinions. Mad respect for not just saying what you think people want to hear for views. And make no mistake, I am a hard stan for SKZ. But I still think music, like any art form, is meant to be interpreted by the individual.

The industry needs to stop sleeping on Lee Know's vocals ASAP!!! And he ended his song the way he end's his VLIVE's.... Very Very ABRUPTLY, LOL. Gotta stan a confident man, he's my ULT for a myriad of reasons, but his vocals are top of the list.

I feel like since Connected is an upbeat, pop-edm sound with effects on vocals ppl don't pay attention to the composition, imo the topline of it is the most well composed among the solo songs. Very catchy, non-repetitive (with different details in the second prechorus and stuff)... It was my fav with Stars and Raindrops and Doodle following behind.

i'm very excited to hear your thoughts on Deep End by Felix. The large majority of people get very surprised by his vocals and range unless they follow stray kids content closely.

I feel like limbo would be vocal gymnastics. The casual way lee know just goes high and the power behind some of those notes…it’s almost a good thing he’s not shown off nearly as much in stray kids songs cause I know I wouldn’t be able to cope. Handsome, great dancer, kindhearted, and great vocals? Like it’s just not fair

Lee Know is also quite the prankster! Chan said that when he made "Limbo" and ended abruptly, Lee Know said he ended the songs like he ended his VLives. The man is hilarious and so very talented!!

i really don't know much about vocals but lee know has such a vocal that personally touches my soul.. i love how soft it is yet he captures the emotions so perfectly. ever since limbo came out i've been absolutely obsessed with it.. ALSO im just inlove with the melody and the vibes and his voice on top of it is just CHEFS kiss

Lee Know worked hard to improve his vocal while also working hard on his dancing so he can manage his stamina between the two. Now that work hard paid off. Limbo is a solo song from the main dancer of SKZ an also one of the slowest song yet upon release, it was the one that pulled the most numbers. I guess people are shocked that he could deliver something like that.

leeknows song was my favorite and i love the appreciation he has been recieving lately since skz replay dropped and funny how he's ended the song 'abruptly' just like his normal vlives aha

I think the ending to Limbo is really clever, considering the lyrics, the idea of being in limbo wondering about how this situation is going to conclude, and the song being called "limbo" and leaving you hanging just a bit with the closing

I think you’d love their song taste, idk if you’ve heard it already but it’s with Lee know, Hyunjin and Felix, and Lee knows voice in it is heavenly, I think you’d really enjoy listening to it

Thank you for your reaction and I think Lee know might sing Limbo live oneday. Because the producer of Limbo said Lee know could sing it half key higher however he wonder can't sing it properly during the live which bring us this version.

seing that you really appreciate Lino's vocals which are truly amazing and he worked so hard to get here (he debuted as main dancer and rapper with years of dancing experience but only a few months of vocal training), I recommend you to look at him singing Love over a thousand years on Jeju island here a stay clipped it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UnCvOp-tsvw.html please keep in mind they're goofing around doing a sudden karaoke, nothing serious but yet he sang really good (we weren't used to hear him since he was shy about his vocals and not after their tour he gained the confidence he was lacking to fully show his talent, so this was a pleasant surprise)

Another enjoyable video analyzing Stray Kids music. The color coded videos often make mistakes, but I'm pretty sure that at 2:01 that was indeed Lee Know. I love Silent Cry and I just love the choreography for it. I know you mentioned some of these songs sound very familiar to you, but Silent Cry was actually a stand-out for me and my sister both; we felt like they did something with the production of it that makes it sound so different (in a good way). Anyway, I personally did not connect as much with Connected or Stars and Raindrops either (not yet anyway, sometimes it just takes time). I can imagine that Connected probably works better out in a club versus at home on my computer. I was hoping for Limbo to have a sexier vibe to it, but Lee Know really delivered with his vocals (I just love his vocal tone so much!). I think Deep End was the greatest surprise for me in the SKZ Replay album so I'm curious what you think of it. If you're not into drops and the types of choruses in these songs, I think it might be a bit harder (but certainly not impossible) for you to find Stray Kids songs that you truly enjoy. I don't know your taste that well, but if I had to recommend some Stray Kids songs for you, I would maybe go with 3rd Eye, 19, Another Day, Chronosaurus, Voices, Ex, Insomnia, For You, probably in that order (some of these were already recommended, but I'm seconding them). For 3rd Eye and some of the other older songs, you might want to take a look at the SKZ 2021 version if available, as those are rerecordings with the current Stray Kids lineup after a member left in 2019. This got way longer than I intended. But hey, thanks for the videos. It's always refreshing to get honest opinions on my faves. Edit: Oh, also! Forgot to mention, but there's an OT8 version of Red Lights that could be cool too.

I actually love the contrast on Silent Cry... the happy, cute, energetic beat oposed to the slower melody and the slightly sad lyrics makes me feel like im listening to a friend whos das cuz im sad but still trying to be funny and fluffy to cheer me up... which I personally think is the objective of this music. Like telling the fandom that even when we are not in a good place, they want their music to be a refuge for us to help us to cheer up. Even more so with how much Chan interacts with stays on his lives.

Silent cry - 3racha wrote it and 3racha worked on it together. For solo songs, they all wrote the lyrics themselves and had like one other producer helping them with the rest of. I mean, most of them compose the songs in a way so they can actually sing them live, so Lee Know can surely sing that. They generally sneak like 2 songs from their solos during their concerts, too. But then there is Han, who makes his solos so ridiculously hard to sing he actually apologised it's impossible to sing live lol (he keeps teasing us that maybe next time lol). Like he can sing that, but it's way too hard to do it live during concert. Other members said his solos are the only ones they can never sing lol.

OH i might be too basic, but i personally really loved Seungmin's chorus and Lee Know's bridge, those melodic parts. I'm really a sucker for that! Lee know would totally be able to stand as a main vocalist, i agree and even we fans knew he was a great singer but were still shocked by how amazing he sounded here. I am just so proud of him. Also would u wanna listen to Deep End from Felix, the same album as this ? IT really is a song that shows the different colors of his voice.

not me laughing at how you're upset by the abrupt ends to some of the songs yet your videos often end the same way and I'm like WOAH don't just stop here! lol btw I always love how you think of ways you would have done the productions, adding harmonies, ad-libs, etc., ...I really liked what you said about not being "too familiar"...such a good point and something I want to keep in mind for my artistic endeavors. A lot of times ppl get "trained" to follow certain patterns, and even tho I think SKZ are VERY unique overall, and they do a lot of unexpected things for a basically mainstream group at this point - I still feel like sometimes there's remnants of some of their "training". if you want more solo songs you can check the latest album they released, it has both new and old songs, mostly solos or unusual collabs they had released through the years! I personally love Han "Close" and Felix ft. Changbin "Because" from the older stuff, but from the newer unreleased songs, you definitely should check Hyunjin, Han, and I.N. songs! all three are really good in different ways!

I think S&R sounds very commercial. It's friendly to the ears, and it's giving KDrama OST vibes. I'm a huge fan of Seungmin; to me his vocal colours are so unique and beautiful. Limbo really showcase LK's vocal range, it's gorgeous and the end truly fits with the title hahah. If I had to rank the three solo songs, it'll be S&R, Limbo then Connected.

in silent cry when you said that it doesnt sound like lee know i could tell it was because of a voice quality he has when hes just talking he kinda sounds like a grandpa thats the best way i can explain it

I was taken by my Stars and Raindrops, it sounds like a Day6 song, and naturally, the producer was Hong Ji Sang, who writes a lot of Day6 songs. I suggest looking into his work to get a feel of his writing style. You do seem to have a lot of critiques, but the thing about that is that Bang Chan absolutely watches reactions to their songs, particularly analyses like this, because he’s always looking for opportunities to improve. The other thing to keep in mind is that 90% of the time (maybe 100%?) Stay Kids writes and produces their songs a certain way deliberately to augment their message. So looking at the music as a whole picture instead of the smaller pieces and then seeing how they all work together may help you understand their production more. It’s not as simple as whether there was a harmony or glissando in one particular part, maybe they considered it and decided it didn’t fit with their vision. Which is what I like about Stay Kids, is that their music breaks from convention and creates its own trend. Silent Cry is one of my favorites because it has more than just the topline to consider. Every time I listen to it, I hear something new. It seems like you’re not listening using earbuds or headphones, which may make you miss a lot in the production. Listen more closely. and maybe you’ll hear something less superficial. Limbo is also a favorite, Lee Know’s timbre is amazing, though I admit it took a lot of listening to a lot of skz songs to be able to identify his voice, and now I can’t get enough. I love the lyrics and his delivery, and have also listened to this song on repeat. Long comment, I know. I like your reactions, but I think you could be more open minded and listen to how they constructed the song first before making criticisms in the middle of the song. Maybe do a full listen first then go back and point out what stood out? Just a suggestion.

I love Silent Cry I see you point but I like that it has high pace for me it sound a bit more desperate. One of my fav songs, from slower songs I also like Slump and Street light by Changbin, these three my go to when I feel down

I totally felt you on that point of certain skz songs going upbeat/"pop-rocky" on the chorus after groovy/ballad like verses! omg. it throws me off so bad lol it happened to me when I listened to silent cry for the first time even though I enjoy the song now. So, I love skz but I'm hoping this is a phase type thing since I know they produce their own music this might just be a personal style they like and are comfortable in or maybe they are songs they made at a certain time. fingers crossed cause I need the groovyness back cause their tones are so unique too. Seeing these tracks from Stray Kids, exploring different colors is just so amazing for me. Hi even tho I don't agree with many of your opinions I still enjoy your reactions. I'm curious about your reaction to Felix' Deep End. And also to these: - Chan, Seungmin and I.N covering Day6's "I'll Try" on Weekly Idol - Chan and Seungmin covering Day6's "Zombie" live (there's also a studio version with Han instead of Chan) So... Lee Know had no solo song before, Limbo is its first. But he and Bang Chan made a song called "Drive", very different from Limbo.

Connected was actually written for I.N!! But in the end Chan took over the song - I don't know if the lyrics were changed since Chan would be the one doing the song but I wonder how Jeongin would've sounded like on the track.

I love Lee Know and Hans voices and I'd love to see either of them with just a simple 4 piece going on and those voices just belt out...especially Hans with a band he has such a great powerful rock voice that needs to be let out (Changbin too)...maybe Lee Know with just a piano or guitar. Channie too tbh. Hey they could all do it and I'd love to see and hear it!
