@@autumn_leaves719 but if i see the reality show, jyps said he makes a group called starykids by telling story that he found a bunch of kid who lost in this world and only had a music for guidances... But idk if there's another reason (based on mnet's interview to JYP)
SM almost didn't let Heechul from Super Junior debut because they thought his hair was too long. Apparently, he was going to debut in their band Traxx, but they didn't let him because of his hair. They gave up because he was so obstinate, and the rest is history.
Nobody talking about Minho how he patiently waited..like damn it’s been a year and he haven’t heard about his audition, but when he was called he easily accepted... like damn he’s so patient and makes me realize that not everything is at rushed..we sometimes have to wait cause we’ll never know what oppurtunity arrises..and one of the best glowups in Kpop.. he’s just a backup dancer and now performing in stage with the title “main dancer” and one of the best dancers in this generation...
it’s truly inspiring. i’m a person who likes to do things quickly but recently i’ve appreciated the art of slowing things down and just being patient. patience is so very important
i love hyunjin's story so much. he proved them wrong, he's one of the main dancers in skz and an amazing rapper and singer. hey alexa, play congratulations by post malone
What really breaks my heart tho is that at first most of their parents are against it but Chan's mom found out about the audition and carried Chan to it and it shows just how supportive they've always been of him and they waited 7 years before he debuted and I can't...
I was studying to be Spanish teacher and fell really sick to study or to keep a job for more than a few months without worsening my condition due to my sickness. ... 7 years later I'm much more better than before, I religiously took my medication and when to therapy regularly for more than 4 years. On February I was being accepted in a job, but coronavirus became a thing even in this smol long piece of land: Chile. And I have to be here, waiting. . Sometimes life sucks, sometimes is a long period of time. But that doesn't stops you, it just makes you slow the pace and prepare for something bigger, different and 1000 times more meaningful than any dream you could had before. Make it count.
Han and Felix really are like twins, one meant to be in Australia and another one meant to be in Malaysia while they're both flew to Korea just for JYP. They birthday even one after another ❤
The fact that 3/3 of 3racha didn't have any plans of becoming an idol from the start just proves they were meant to be together. Imagine kpop without 3racha?nah nah
chris and hyunjin's story really hurt me. although they explained it so nonchalantly, their struggle was *much* worse. chris had to sit back for years on repeat, watching his friends either debut or fail. for ten years ( or seven I'm not really sure ), the pain he suffered for a teenager shouldn't be felt at that age. hyunjin was basically told that his beauty would get him somewhere. sure, it may be nice to being good looking but you're basically being called talentless. looks dont solve everything. all these boys suffered great loses and had to go out of their ways to be where they are. and for that, i respect them. no one should ever doubt these little beans. they deserve the world and more.
Changbin listening to Hyunjin makes my heart go 🥺 cuz i read that maybe Changbin always calls himself the visual because he sees that Hyunjin is uncomfortable. It could be a reach but it’s a sweet thought
that is the sweetest thing to think about I knew that changbin sometimes calls himself handsome as a joke and that hyunjin like other visuals wants to be known for his talent no just visual but I never put them together
Funny enough I personally do think that Changbin is the most attractive out of them. Like I agree that Hyunjin is the most "kpop visual" looking member and he's beautiful for sure, but there's just something about Changbin that's so mesmerizing...
Jin's Spirit Animal right ?! I’ve never once thought he’s not handsome or anything. I genuinely think of changbin as a handsome boy. I feel like he is so handsome and nice.
Yes.. And, even Hyunjin tell he's crying really hard when Chaeyeon praise him with said "You really become a Good dancer right now" after Chaeyeon see Hyunjin perform solo/Leading dance in Straykids on a Gayo/Award show
they are born to be on the stage...they are fated to join stray kids right feom the start...love them...and felix voice sound deeper when he talk in english😍
@teeeeeettt OMG FOR REAL!! I love Felix as it is but every time I hear his deep voice I just can't help but fall in love even more. It still surprises me how deep his voice is
@@anthonysokhn2979 They have alot So from the top of my head FINDING SKZ TWO KIDS ROOM ONE KID ROOM i think SKZ-BLACK SKZ&SKZ HONEY TIPS STRAY KIDS SURVIVAL SHOW CHOI-SKZ i think TWO KIDS MUSIC ROOM i think I can't think of many so... to find some more go to their offical YT channel "Stray Kids" and once you get onto their YT channel go to playlists They are also on alot of other channels like dingo, mu:fully, etc.
Han is a big thing in stray kids hes one of the reasons theyre so unique, even just having him. Obviously the others too id still stan stray kids without him but han added to it just like everyone else did
And now he's the best ace K-pop has ever had. He can rap, sing, dance, write songs, produce... But not like he just can do it, he's one of the best rappers, songwriters and producers in the industry, he's an incredible lead vocalist (who could be even main in other groups) and he's a solid dancer. The talent this man has!
Yasss.. I just become their fans like a few days ago but I didnt even realize that Hyunjin is the visual tho. What I realize is, he has a good stage presence, rapp skill, and dancing skill. He's just too good
😔😔😔 same I tried to work hard but it didn't go well.... I tried to think that they take soo much time to achieve what they want but about my self I am not sure
it made me really sad listening to Han and Seungmin saying that it was hard saying goodbye to friends, and that they even got numb to it "it's taxing to be sad", makes me feel like it happened so much, I feel so bad :c
4:17 This is why I kind of hate the Visual position. See? It hurts when your "only talent is being handsome/pretty". It hurt Hyunjins pride, being told that he'd get into a group, because of his looks. Not because of talent, but because of his looks.
Christina Lund but I don’t think people talk about his visual that much (probably because none of the members really talk about him being an official visual so the thought doesn’t really ingrained to people’s mind). I’ve heard about people praising him for his dancing skills so I guess he succeeded in wanting to be known as a great dancer. I mean if I’m thinking about hyunjin, the first thing I thought was he’s a great dancer. and I agree with your opinion. I wish people stop saying being beautiful is the only talent the visual position holders have. it really makes me sad because I feel like they are trying so hard to not be known for their beauty only but some of the companies are pushing them to sit still and look pretty. some of them can’t even act silly because they need to make sure they look beautiful and proper all the time.
streetlight after Hyunjin addressed that he didn’t like it when people only saw his looks, people started complimenting his talents more and I guess it kinda stopped by a bit ? ¿ also isn’t that the reason as to why Changbin claimed visual?
But they should really take pride in being called visual / face of the group ( not coz of look) but they have great responsibility given by company ( kinda burden ) ....... usually visuals are the ones who work till they are sleep deprived coz companies send them for numerous promotions ( variety shows , dramas ) .....this is how they help their whole group pay off the debt.....( You can see that happening in smaller companies alot) .....many of 2nd gen groups ( when social media wasn't a thing ) got their groups become well known coz of group's VISUAL I kinda feel bad for them coz 10 /12 yrs later .... junior groups idolize main singers /rappers / dancers , but visuals are sidelined ( if they haven't already made enough from acting )
Hyunjin is one of a kind. He's really hardworking so no one can complementing him only for his visual but his talents. Unlike other visual who looks like they're debuted because their good looks but had no talent.
Most of the members parents doesn't want them to be an artist and just want them to study hard, but they go against their will with a good purpose and prove that they can achieve their dreams and can make their parents proud. I'm so proud of them.
This is normal for parents. Like, I wanted to go to art high school but my mum was like this is not a job, find something more practical. But finally after several months she agreed.
Good video, but for felix there is more to how he got there. In written interviews he details how he got handed a JYP card in australia & him & his friend auditioned in australia & he got picked to go be a JYP trainee.
I expected u to add LK famous “I want to be a singer” scene from NatGeo to his part but oh okay 😂 Anyways, thank u so much this helped me to know them more :)
their stories genuinely break my heart. it's really saddening to know that so many young people in korea have to go through these hardships to even be considered to debut. i'm grateful that they stuck at their dreams though
Honestly it's a part of life. Not only as an artist but in other fields too. Late APJ Abdul Kalam was a person I looked up to and to achieve the stage he reached as a president he went through a lot. He belonged from a poor family but went on to lay some of the most important foundations of science and technology in India. Through Persistence dreams find their way I guess.
Its so crazy. So many young people probably went through it and fought so hard. And many did not get the chance to debut or anything. It must be so hard and challenging. The things they said about it sound so hard already. I cant imagine how it actually was like. There is so much that we, as Fans, cant see. I am so proud of them for their hardwork and their music. They deserve the world :) YOU GO GUYS!!!! Thank you that i can be a part of it.
Hyunjin is like lee taeyong from Nct, they both didn't know how to dance before and they both were criticized for it. But they both prove them wrong. And they are both visuals
I started crying when hyunjin was saying stuff about his dancing because I like to dance and sing but I don’t have enough confidence in myself to do it and I have a problem with my weight I have a small dream but I feel as if I can’t succeed in it
😭😭😭 I understand you we are the same I also love dancing and I want to learn more about it but I don't have any confidence with my self and also have weight problems 😂😔 I hope one day I can do what I want to do wish to you too
Ik he's worked so hard!!! I kinda understand how he felt about dancing cause I'm stiff and I have no one to teach me and I just kinda feel bad about my stiffness cause no one can tell me what i'm doing wrong. I'm happy he had those people around him to help him cause I know how he feels.
I’ve never had a problem with my weight till I was actually average weight, but I’ve always had a problem with flexibility and volume, and now (thanks to cheerleading) my very unstable voice. But I’ve always love signing and dancing. So the little amount of tips I have is, dance IS an exercise so keep doing it, and there’s always SOMETHING on RU-vid that will help you, (somehow) Yup I a glass half full kinda girl
Chan: independence, he’s a strong leader Lee Know: patience, from the bottom to the top Changbin: determination, practice doesn’t make perfect - it makes it better Huynjin: perseverance, he’s more than a pretty face Han: courage, a small dream that he worked to become reality Felix: strong will, his Korean may not be the best but he’s a five star chef Seugmin: rational, he took the opportunity and made a promise IN: baby, if the first time didn’t work try again :D All of them give me happiness ❤️
Seungmin’s story legitimately made me cry hearing that he trained so hard for sports and had to stop bc of injury, etc, bc I went through the same thing, it hurts so bad in the moment to be forced to stop doing what you love
But the cheesy parts aside, I think Chan’s story is toughest one no? He literally waited for seven years to debut. Watching one by one of his friends either failed or debut, while he kept practicing & practicing with no clear debut date. I saw a reality episode that describes Chan as a kid with many talents in sports (swimming etc) he collected many medals of it. Imagine being have to wait seven goddamn years while some of his relatives may say “you’re talented at sports why dont just try to be an athlete? You’re a clever boy why dont just pursue degree in university?” And so on... i am sure he has endured a lot during that seven years to hold onto his dreams. Behind that cheeky & giggly smiles Chan has a strong mentality that I am sure if even he did not debut, he will success one way or another.
That doesn't make sense though, they manipulate their hair and style all they want after they debut. Most idol's auditions show them with completely different looks to the point that fellow members use them as an inside joke maybe due to a funny hairstyle. Besides, why would they turn down a talented individual with potential for something that can be easily fixed with a haircut. When he said they mentioned his hair being long, I don't think he meant that's the reason he failed but a side note about his experience.
I got emotional at hyunjin, he come so far for just being a visual now for being one of the strong and powerful main dancer and known with his charisma in stage
i always enjoy seeing his growth but to hear hyunjin say that he started from practically nothing having no skills makes me feel so proud. he's worked very hard to be as good as he is now and is continuously improving. he's truly special and an inspiration
chan faced such a hard time, he was forced to grow up and be an adult so fast, he had to adapt in order to survive.. not many can do that and thats one of the big reasons why i respect him so much
Okay but the way Chan's mother was literally the one who suggested for him to pass the audition IS BREAKING MY HEART- I wish I could have such supportive parents.... Oh cmon, I'm crying now...
Now that we're talking about hyunjin being not just a pretty face, let me just share how i got into skz because i was sooo attracted to him because of his looks!! After knowing his story about his fellow trainees hurting his pride, i was reminded of how i saw him at first. I admit, i didn't want him to be my bias because he was a visual (as someone who is always looking for talent) and i expected that he would also just be like other visuals who was put into the group for their looks but is quite lacking in some aspect. So when i was choosing my bias, i purposely avoided him. But after watching several performances and getting to know them better, i realized i was straight up clowning myself lmao 🤡 i soon learned that this dude is hella amazing. He is so damn talented and i genuinely enjoy watching him dance so much. I haven't seen a kpop boy dance like him for so long. His movements are very sharp and damn he's perfect when it comes to facial expressions. Also he's so good at rapping. I DID NOT expect any of those when i was still new to them. And i HATE myself for having this prejudice that visuals get a free pass in debuting in a group. Damn what a clown i am. I was so guilty while listening him say say all that. Now he's my bias and i am so in love with him and i would protect this boy at all costs!!
I think what is attractive abt him is not his visual by his stage presence he got some type of charisma so that he stands out most for me by the way he became my bias after hearing his vocals in psycho 😌💖🙌
Yeah, Hyunjin has something so attractive on him that you try not to like him... but wherever you're you will fall for him sooner or later. He is REALLY talented, attractive, and warm hearted!!! He is Bias wrecking me 💖🥰👏🏻
hyunjin's story is so inspiring, after only 2 years of training he became so skilled. he proved to everyone that he's so much more than his looks and he's very much worthy of being a main dancer, he's become one of my main dance role models
@@angelilachica5231 His name is Hwang Geum Ryul. He was part of Produce X101 and eliminated on the 5th episode. He joined the program when he is already under Yue Hua Entertainment.
Chan has so many lines that I love "oh okay" "try me" "I don't kinda care" "but I'm not going to" "like mate stop procrastinating" He's progressively becoming more and more chaotic and I love it
Changbin's parents are just like my parents. I told them I'm gonna apply for auditions but then they told me to finish my studies first before auditioning ;-; but like I'm gonna be so old after graduating so I'm gonna apply secretly 🌚
When I first started to get in to stray kids, and then I got to hear that chan trained for 7 years at first I was like why the f**k didn't jyp debut him before, like so much talent and he didn't debut him, and know I've been a stay for almost 6 months and I'll say, chan couldn't debut in any other group with any others people maybe a maknae of any other group NO, because he nedded to be the Lider and producer for the next biggest boy band ever in the world, cause somebody as great and talented like him could only be in a group as great an talented as he is, he needed, Changbin, han, leeknow, Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin and all of them needed him. Ther was no way for them to debut in another group, they where ment to be in Stray kids, to be Stray kids, I feel bad for chan waiting 7 years, for being alone a long time, for the hard time he had, for Felix living in Korea with out knowing the language and agenst his parents, han traveling from Malaysia to get in a company because he knew he couldn't make he's dream if it wasn't in Korea, I.N proving he's parents that he could, Changbin proving he's dad that we was talented and he really loved rapping, Hyunjin proving everyone he was talented, Lee know showing the world he's love for dancing, and seugmin really following he's dream no matter what. I can imagine any of them not being where they are today and what they are. I just love them and I will always will, and I love stay for loving SKZ this much. And don't forget 1- Doble knot on my yeeeezeees 2- I want to be a singer 3- Yooooooooo 4- your behavior is sooo ugh 5- chhhogio nuuuna namja chinguuuuiseo 6- It's allll good know (bites a banana) 7-Daaaaaaa 8- I know korean Lolllllll I love them
Every time I hear Hyunjin’s story it makes me sad that people even said that to him but I am so proud of him and showing them that he is talented. Wonder what they be doing now 😤
@@msuarz6666 yeahhhh they both worked really hard and I've been a stay since their debut show thingy and I'm honestly so proud 😭😭 you can really hear the evolution of his rap as well from hellevator up into god's menu
hyunjin's determination to be known and seen for his skills over his looks really hit home with me. it's so strange to me how some people can view attractive people as only that, and attribute everything someone has achieved to just being beautiful. as if being good looking invalidates all other aspects of a person. hyunjin didn't choose to be beautiful, that's simply something he was born with, and i quite admire that he refuses to rely on that. also, the fact that he had little to no dance experience prior to being a trainee and still turned out to be as incredible of a dancer as he is now is so wild. his passion is so evident in everything he does, god i love this boy
It's so funny how when I was just starting to get into skz, i could always picture hyunjin getting scouted randomly by jyp (because damn, with that face??). So now I know his story is exactly like what i had imagined lmao. But!! I actually liked his story the most. He trained so hard to prove that he's not just handsome and now look where he is 😭
SpangJ everyone in Stray Kids say that Changbin is the best listener in the group and if they ever have a problem they always go to him because he sits and listens and doesn’t try to intervene to much
Hyunjin’s debut story. I seriously thought of him as a good dancer at first then maybe the visual as an after thought. Had no idea how much work he put to be known as a “good dancer” instead of just going by his looks. His moves on Awkward Silence just got me mesmerized. Hard work really pays off.
I really can't imagine my life without them. They're literally saved me. Like everytime I feel so depressed, just hearing their laugh, will made my day 100x times better.
the comment hyunjin received about his being able to debut because of his looks undermines his talent greatly - its a hollow compliment and it’s meant to undermine his actual drive and purpose, essentially calling him talentless in the process
Hyunjin, having no interest in dancing later with his and other's effort and motivation became interested. It's not that simple. We can't even imagine how much they all worked hard in a new environment. Now that Hyunjinie is a choreographer of his own, it makes me think again, what am I doing, how can I possibly get to the level of what I desire or interested at. Same goes to the world wide handsome from BTS, he joined with his acting skill and visual but till this day he never stopped working how he started. This is what called inspiration from people. They are also normal, they aren't like prodigy or sth, they stood up on their own and are shining.
I'm on my period rn and I just cried and smiled while watching the vid, to me these boys are so precious in my life and without them my life would just be in a dark hole rn
hyunjin’s story is so inspirational, like he was never really good at anything except being good looking I suppose. yet, he kept going and training and is now one of the best dancers in kpop. like I’m so proud 😭
What everyone hates to hear is "you had it easy/you were lucky" it completely cancels all they went through to get where they are. I think most trainees really have put their all into making it in such a cut-throat industry, no matter how they first got their foot on the door
I am honestly absolutely blown away by Hyunjin. I always find 'Visuals' who worked their asses off to prove themselves so amazing. Like he got scouted because of his looks and came into the company with no skills... which just means that all the skills he has now he had to build from the ground up! That's incredible!!! (and ofc this isn't a comparison, members who were already developing their skills and got in through auditions on their own merit are ofc also incredible! that's insanely hard and they deserve recognition for that too!) I just think it's so impressive that Hyunjin managed to go from ground zero to being a main dancer of Stray Kids over the course of a 2 year training period And it's even more impressive that he struggled! It wasn't something where he was naturally talented and was instantly great as soon as he tried, he had trouble when he started out and had to work really hard to get better, and he did!!! When you watch him dance he *looks* so flawless, you would never guess that his talent didn't come naturally, and that's the result of Hard! Fucking! Work! Babey!!! And now he's progressed so much that he was literally chosen as Studio Choom’s Artist of the Month last October! Insane!!!!! Ya know, like, for the member's who got in through auditions no one can tell them that they don't deserve their spot or they aren't talented, because their skills are what got them into the company, so like, there's literal *proof* to back up the fact they deserve to be there But for Hyunjin who built his skills *after* being scouted and becoming a trainee he's probably had to work twice as hard just to prove that he's more than just a pretty face because there will always be people who try to discount him just because he got into the company 'without having to try' I dunno, I just feel like that would make it hard to be able to feel like you deserve your accomplishments, seems like it might put a little voice in your head that you always have to try harder to prove yourself... Anyway, I'm babbling Time for bed But yeah, I'm so proud of him 🤧💗 I'm so proud of all of them
I am stay because of hyunjin, when i first saw his performance in RU-vid, my mind askd how could this man is so talented and so handsome sexy at one time? and i have become his die hard fan at once ❤️ he deserves everything now he has ❤️
JYP to Jeongin : *Your hair is so long* JYP with Hyunjin : *Just randomly hold some stranger's (Hyunjin) wrist in the market and give him card for audition in JYP and ended up giving him long hair-*
They’re so precious, they suffered alot to get in the place where they are rn.... it’s just fun to think about what you thought would be impossible after you did it, it makes you feel proud.
