SKZ have a habit of writing the most sorrowful lyrics to a happy beat. It gets you interested, and then you find the meanings....And suddenly it means more. Secret Secret is such a emotional song. The live of them singing in the vertical frames is very impactful, because even if you hear the others, you only see the one. It is solitary, while having support that isn't seen. They aren't afraid to make a song where they talk about subjects that are normally hidden from society, and they sing it in such beautiful harmonies. Silent Cry is the response from the other members to Han. Even if they are having a hard time expressing what they are going through, there is those who will say that they "are OK" in their place. Again, the support that isn't really seen. In it they offer to be a shield to the outside world until they can deal on their own. Han has a deep need to write through his harder emotions. It's how he is able to deal with things. Songs like Alien, and Run. They deal with anxieties & pressures. Songs like Slump, where they are talking about burnout & artists block. When he writes about these things, he puts it all into the song &, for him, is able to move past them. He also has the ability to connect to things he hasn't experienced, like the need to get to know someone they saw across the street, or the pain of a break up, or the aftereffects of a volatile relationship coming to an end & realizing it was never meant to be. His songs are windows into such a vast ocean of emotions. Some of which are things we experience & not him, but still told in a way that we can relate to.

Yes I appreciate their bravery in writing about mental health related situations of course. It's also very important not only for them to get through but also their audience who includes mostly teens so they don't feel alone in this! Ooh I do have those songs noted that you mentioned here, still have them to react to. X

@@kvigoart The most wonderful thing about SKZ's music, is that it speaks to all ages. Sure there are younger Stay, but there are a lot of older Stay too. There are so many parents listening with their kids & grand kids. I chat with a lady who's oldest is 12, and they are badgering her to buy more SKZ so they all can enjoy it. The biggest draw is the music & lyrics. A lot of Stay will say that they found SKZ or SKZ found them when they really needed it. When Stray Kids first started out, they wanted to make music that was real. Real experiences, real emotion. And that is what connects most of us. I personally wasn't in a bad place when I found them. But I was drawn to their music because of it's honesty & the way I can connect with it.
