They are absolutely serious musicians who don't take themselves too seriously. A band whose member also does everything themselves. Composing, producing, mixing, lyrics, videos. I mean, a band member stand behind the camera, for example.

I stumbled onto this video on youtube and it is the best video and song ever. Ive shown everybody I know this and each time I get the "What have I just watched?" and I reply "pure Awesomeness" I love it

Like? Do you also want the beginning of the rabbit hole? "Best Day Of My Live", "McThunder 1-2", "Hate-love", "Hypa, hypa", then the Techno album from the first song to the last, and finally "Everytime we touch". They're just fun, and from that fun, positive attitude, along with the right technical know-how, they create insanely fun and hilarious things. I hope they stay with us for a long time. Oh, and the leader of the dance group (long blonde wig) and choreographer, also a streamer in Germany!

They made a whole album of HypaHypa versions, were they collaborated with different german bands. There is a medival version from Saltatio Mortis, a deathcore version from We Butter The Bread With Butter, a dance version from Sasha...and so much more. I recommend you to start with the version "Saltatio Mortis vs. Eskimo Callboy - Hypa Hypa". The boys from EC are mostly featured in the videos doing funny stuff. In the deathcore version from WBTBWB they remaking a "cheap" version of the original HypaHypa video with lowkey budget (The palm trees are made out of rubber, the italian car is not a sports car, the model was exchanged to the cleaning lady, usw.) it is really funny.

Well sometimes, Lady, through all the great Make Up and the colourfull Twitch Curtains, there shines the english Lady through, that is slightly amused and just an bit irretated but not at all disgusted by our German Band:) this combo is so enjoyable, thx a lot for This:). i really miss the Ladies from the Isle, so strong, distinguished, and just crazy when Style allows it...thx for this upload. The aesthetics and theme of this video are pretty much impossible to understand for viewers outside of Germany. It isn't really so much about making fun of 80s fashion, as most people assume, it goes a little deeper than that. Back in the 90s the coal and steel industry in Germany was dying and a lot of men who thought they would work in those industries their whole lives, like their fathers and grandfathers had, found themselves jobless and without much perspective. That basically created a whole generation of "peaked in high school" type dudes who clung to their youth in the 80s and were still walking around like that (mullets, handlebar mustaches and so on) way into the 90s, long past the point where that stopped being cool. So you had a bunch of 30 to 40 year old dudes looking like that, like living fossils from a bygone era, hanging around at dance clubs and techno rave parties, trying to pick up chicks half their age in the 90s. That is what this video makes fun of and that is why it makes sense that you have those dudes in their 80s outfits, the girl looking like a 90s raver chick and those "not 80s" techno and "Boy Band" elements in the song.

My favorite from Electric Callboy is "We Got the Moves." The rave section puts it over the top. I've seen them say that's a highlight of their live shows because of that section too.

We Got The Moves is still my fave from them, I keep coming back to it. And also - a number of artists collaborated with them to make covers of Hypa Hypa in various genres, and I think the best is the Hypa Hypa cover from We Butter The Bread With Butter (WBTBWB)

I disagree with "they are not supposed to be taken seriously". Yes they are fun, and yes a lot of their videos are silly as hell, but musically they should certainly be taken seriously as they are incredibly talented. And factor in songs like Mindreader, Parasite, Neon and even older track Prism, they certainly have their more "serious" songs as well.
