SECOND PART: • Streamers being amazed... Send me clips of you or your favourite streamer for part 3 of the series! The featured streamers are: CohhCarnage, WoolieVersus, Dexbonus, andersonjph, PatStaresAt, Tomato, Etalyx
I made a second part! You can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IpfbDSJgHks.html Also send me clips of you or your favourite streamer for part 3 of the series!
@@broblerone413 His full streams are uploaded to RU-vid, but they're a real slog. There's an unofficial channel that uploaded an edited version recently. I'd recommend watching that if you want to avoid having to skip him just talking to chat a bunch. Oh, and he played it back in the day before the Directors Cut, so the awful old voice acting takes a while to get used to.
@@M92FSINOX throughout history, liberalism has been economically right-wing without any specific required affiliation on cultural issues. It remains very pro-free market and highly critical of labor laws, etc. However, modern liberalism is much closer to the center than classical liberalism. The confusion stems from the US being so right-wing that their most left-wing party would be considered economically center-right anywhere else, with a few social democrats (usually the centrist) being part of it. Fun fact: a lot of republicans would be technically considered liberals too, more precisely classical liberals.
@@M92FSINOXRush Limbaugh shrieked the word “liberal” nonstop for 37 years and it’s made the word functionally useless in American politics. In Poli-Sci classes and in every other english-speaking country, it refers to the kind of liberty-minded civil rights politics that both the right and left claim to champion. But in US right-wing politics, it’s now just a pejorative meaning “those stinky losers who aren’t like us”.
@erin1569 That's legitimately not true. The left in America is extremist left with an insane slice of communist economic exploitation. The idea behind it is the same as the USSR, elitist parasites who use political banter to distract how theyre crashing the economy for their own personal benefit.
In this game you are either competant, or you fall over and reveal that you've been carrying spaghetti in your pockets because you thought it was a good idea at the time
or you come across by pure chance the moment in the game where you have to subdue a rampaging italian and the pockets full of spaghetti suddenly save the day.
you can do both. I played a complete nutjob, still managed to crack the case, recruited Cuno to my precinct, and they still let me be a detective in the end
If you read Kurvitz' "Outro" they literally say this. They ask themselves "How do we sneak actual culture into the world culture industry? Only through a videogame."
I remember I got the laughable centrist achievement when I said "I have no strong feelings one way or the other if you create a pariah state centered around moving massive amounts of drugs" and honestly if i HAD to get that cheevo i'm glad it was due to that line specifically
@@ramppappiawhen talking to the light bending rich guy, there are two red checks, 1 to pitch him a great investment opportunity, and 1 to pitch him a terrible idea that would never work. Both are a super high level roll, I forget for what skill but the odds of both were like 3%. But if you roll the foolish option and fail that roll, he fails to say something stupid and presents a sound investment plan and gets the money lol
@@sapphiredawn5773 so the ones that initially thought up the game left the company that developed it. Patstaresat and Woolieversus discussed this on their podcast some time ago. So now the ones that own the rights is the company.
@@hydra7427 Partially worked on the game? That's a funny way of saying the lead designer ( Robert Kurvitz ), writer ( Helen Hindpere, and art director Aleksander Rostov who were forced out of their jobs by higher ups. I implore you to look into the matter in various sources and provide your own if you are making a claim that it was 'Two people who only partially worked on the game'.
If I remember correctly that's because it was the first time they heard the voice of the city. Up to that point they have assumed that all skill prompts are read by the male narrator. This is probably the first time most people start to think that maybe there is something supranatural about Shivers in particular.
@@holliswilliams8426 Pat as in Patrick. One half of the former duo Two Best Friends Play or Super Best Friends Play. Since their split he mainly does streaming, still has a channel called Pat Stares At where he plays games both old and new.
@@Chroma710every side thinks it's most logical. If i analyze which side is most logical, then, judging by intellectual logic-driven fields, it would be left, with centrism closely behind and right choking in the dust
Woolie and Reggie have THE BEST Disco Elysium playthrough i have watched so far. They talk thoughtfuoly about almost everything and are funny and insightful the whole way through. The best Death Stranding LP as well. Love em.
During my first playthrough I nearly died from dehydration from all the tears I shed laughing. Never before or after have I played a game that resonated so much with my sense of humor.
I played through it twice and i didn't see a fragment of this. Having Kim beside me, being the most down-to-earth, serious, polite and extremely patient partner made it soooo hard to just do all the crazy shit XD I did manage to do a superstar cop run though. But i really need to try a completely crazy run as well.
@@havokmusicinc Apparently he will!... in two years!!! That's because of the voting game, which you should look up the highlights for in youtube because it gets doodoo crazy.
It brings me so much joy to see other people enjoying the dialogue and choices from both failed and suceeded checks. I just love seeing other people have fun with the game :)
The best crpg i have ever played lore and narrative wise. Such a damn shame whats happening with the devs. Makes this game even more special to me as we might not get another one.
I love Disco Elysium. It has given me something I’ve been looking for in games for a while: the chance to fail at tasks. Boy howdy does it deliver on that front.
I legit have trouble picking the dumbass choices (with the exception of me kicking the chimney and insta-dying) so seeing this brought me to tears. God this game was so good I called off work and played it till I passed out.
I don’t know anything about this game or am invested in politics but I love how this game incentivises you to be a certain ideology or side that promotes this game’s replay-ability for each playthrough. Might give this a try
It definitely promotes playthroughs for the different political ideologies. While it absolutely makes fun of all of them, there are always genuinely relatable elements to them, even in the fascist quest line.
We can disagree on the ethics and politics of the world, we can feel revulsion or spite for each other and unjustly take out frustrations on people who don't deserve it, and we can be divided by forces of phenomena that are outside of our control and understanding. But it warms my heart to know that despite everything, despite the worst conflicts between people, I know in my heart we can all agree... Missing a 97% skill check is absolute bullshit
iv been wanting something like this. i always love playing a game then watching a youtuber i love play it cause i love seeing how they react to something iv already reacted too. but unfortunately this game is criminally underated and not too many have played it. we need more recognition for this beautiful game! thank you again for this video and to those who streamed the game/made a video on it
Eeey, the Dodger playthrough is the one that convinced me to try the game myself, and the vast gulf of a difference between how ours played out was super interesting to see! This was a cool compilation, and the editing in the 'want to have fuck with you' moment was flawless.
2:10-I'm struggling to think of a time Dodger has laughed *that* hard. I would've thought Jesse's little...intrusion years ago, but that was more TB losing it than her. Might actually be when Jesse screamed at that terrible eSports simulator game.
Fun fact: I made this video because Jerma once said on stream that he probably won't play this game. It's literally the motivation behind this video to make him play it.
Okay, look y'all. I need you to be honest with me on this. Statistically, at least one of you has legit tried to use the words 'I want to have fuck with you' in a real-life pick-up scenario. I want to know how it went. I need to know how it went. I. NEED. DETAILS.
