Bands streaming their content live is becoming more and more common. I am sure the XR18 digital mixer isn't the only option. If you have recommendations to help musicians stream their bands then please post! Would love to know what others are doing.

Thank you sir from New Zealand! I did a gig using and old Behringer Xenyx x1832 usb and the digital to analog out of my pc no issues but from analog to digital failed me. I know then I had the wrong tool for the job.
Hello, its a very helpful video for us who just starting live streaming to our church.. I have so many question. One of my question is once I connect it to my windows computer, is it automatically detect by the OBS? Also may i know if we can output the audio to the speakers during live?
There is a driver that will need to be installed which can be downloaded from the Behringer website. Once it's recognized by Windows it will be recognized by OBS a single stereo input. Yes you can connect the XR18 to speakers for live as well and send a USB cable to the computer for your live feed into OBS. One nice thing about many of the Behringer digital mixers is that they are frequently used by churches and there is a ton of information out there in terms of how they are used for worship services.

This was great help. I see you may be using the USB with an inline transformer? We had been using an AUX Out to the mini phono plug on the laptop running OBS....maybe we need to change because we get such variance between users listening to RU-vid/Facebook. Some get the sound great, some don't. We thought having a separate bus to mix would be of greatest value because we need main L/R for our speakers in the sanctuary. Videos like yours complement Phil's with Behringer so well because you get granular. Thanks.
No transformers. The mic was plugged directly into the mixer. If some of your users are getting great audio that suggest that maybe an issue with the streaming itself. This could be due to bandwidth or other issues, but it sounds like you are getting good audio to the streaming device/platform itself.
Hi. I am trying to use the AUX output for streaming my audio from the XR18 to my Data Video controller. When I connect the AUX1 OUT, I only hear one of my mixer channels. I went to routing and AUX 1 Out is set to a particular channel but cannot add any additional channels. I guess I don't quit understand how to set this up. Thanks,
It’s a Sony a5100 into a capture card. Pre COVID they were easy to find in the two hundred dollar range, but then everyone figured out it’s a great camera for streaming, at least in 1080. Apparently it overheats when recording video but does not when streaming. It’s permanently mounted on my wall. Thanks!

Man I have a question. I’m using Ecamm Live to stream through Facebook Live. I use a Mac. I am so confused as to why my faders or nothing really seems to change my levels. For instance, I can totally turn down my vocals , and guitar and I’m still getting a good signal into Facebook,
Two methods. I am sure about one, the other I am not. 1) Keep the mixer by the computer and run a snake up front to the stage. That works fine. You can use the app to mix from anywhere so you don't need the mixer on the stage. 2) Run a long USB cable from the computer to the stage. I know that passive USB cables have a max length. Can't vouch for this method.
What was the name of the plugin? I could not find it. Also, would this be the best way to stream audio to Zoom video conferencing? I belong to a small church and I am trying to help with the stream cast.
ASIO for OBS is the plugin. It’s on github. I believe it has a lot of discussion on the OBS forums. I believe the author’s name is Andersama. There are several ways to stream audio to Zoom. Look up NDI which is a way to send audio and video over your network.
I prefer xenyx qx 1622 whit Klark Tehnic procesor that's better than effects by Xair Beringer digital mixers ,I fiind very difficult to setting voice effects special when you use delay effects
I think I have a driver issue. The xr18 is recognized as a sound device in the device manager but not in my sound control panel. I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers but I still don't see it and neither does obs.
If this is Windows and you set it as your main sound device does normal computer audio play through? If so, OBS should find it. It won't find the individual inputs until you add the ASIO plugin.
Delay effects it's very difficult to use doesn't have accuracy at all ; I used Xenyx qx1622 whit Klark Teknik procesor and that mixer it is much better for live session , actually big issues on xair mixers delay effects it's almost impossible to use
