@@Feelin_DanDy Well I've watched a few vods of his streams so I'm not too sure about how often he does it, but it is in some combined studio of him and some other people called Mint Potion.
I used to confuse this and JP's Stardust Speedway Bad Future a lot when singing either of them, it kind of just automatically changed from one to the other accidentally.
When I sing first level theme song from 1/2 Genie Hero, it suddenly transforms in Mole Knight level song from Shovel Knight. Itxs interesting. Not first time happens to me.
This happens to me a good amount, surprised I haven't talked about it before This is probably a sign that the two signs that get mixed up are in need of a good mashup XP
I think about how good Shantae and the Seven Sirens was, very good game! But then I think about Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and how amazing Jake Kaufman's soundtrack is and.....FFFUUUCCKK!!!!! I don't think Shantae and the Pirate's Curse will EVER be topped!
Honestly. They are getting there though. I just wish seven sirens was harder as I thought pirates curse gave you a reasonable challenge. But they finally fixed the transformations in seven sirens
Yeah, not to be a music nerd, but it's because both themes are composed in the same Key, A minor, Streamworks uses A harmonic minor, and both use a chromatic descent, E-D#-D-C
Funnily enough people talking about the Stardust Speedway thing at that part, but instead im hearing that bassline sounding like She's a Bad Mama Jama by Carl Carlton lol
While I find the tanline island to be my favorite, this song has serious classic sonic vibes and deserves credit for that. Shame this was the only really good one in the series. Especially because it had charm and potential. Kinda telling that the best one had a second development team helping and also stripped shantae of her signature mechanic...
@@adlaistevenson2623 idk I'd say half genie was good, revenge was sub par (understandable since it was unfinished), and seven sirens was just bad. Never played the original so count vouch for that, though that has a pass of being first game in the series, inexperienced small team with mo budget and technical limitations
@@maxisenberg9093 I did enjoy the Seven Sirens, it mainly suffers from being pretty undercooked (it almost feels a bit unfinished too), but I think my expectations were more realistic for that one. Playing HGH right after the amazing PC kinda soured it a bit for me (but I did like it a lot, still. Enough to buy the collector's edition anyway). I feel like Shantae is "untapped potential: the series". The only time I didn't feel this way was with PC, even though I technically enjoyed all of them.
@@adlaistevenson2623 I don't think it's unfinished. But undercooked is right. Very half baked, by the numbers. More power to you enjoyed it. And just because something is bad doeent mean it can't be enjoyed to a degree. It has good ideas but doesn't follow through on any of them. The only good thing is what that means for the potential of a sequel. If I could describe this title in a word: uninspired. Yeah it was advertised as a mix between half genie and pirates curse but I don't think that had much to do with the disappointment. Even if it was just more of half genie peolle would still be relatively happy I think. But it has a LOT of faults and having done 4 other games there really wasn't an excuse for most of them. But I agree the series as a whole is missed potential. Just average all around but the charavters in most games have charm
There is a giant serpent at the top of the falls called a Giga Lummox. It produces a seemingly endless stream of saliva, which is the source of the waterfall in this level.
