Stree 2 (transl. Woman 2) is an upcoming Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios. A sequel to Stree (2018), it is the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe. It stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 15 August 2024.

I have a theory for that straight hair women . I think that is actually Rajkumar Rao in the disguise of a women , because the headless ghost is targeting women , and previously in stree 1 rajkumar rao adopted the role of a bride to capture stree and in stee 2 , he might adopt the disguise of a women to capture headless ghost

Stree 2's shooting had been done at my dad's hometown Narsinghgarh, Madhya Pradesh. There's a huge fort where the shooting took place.

I hope this movie is a success so they continue the series cause I'm mainly curious to know why shraddha's character is so determined to acquire the power of the legends she's ever heard about and why she has learned all the craft she knows... There were hints here and there in the last movie within her words but they were so out of context or maybe even lies (we were just as clueless as Vicky&co.) But if she has a motive to gain so much power how will she utilise it ?? And the woman with straight hair is definitely one of the guys cause in the last movie they made Vicky become a cheese in the trap, they'll probably do it again too

I think the ghost is dead husband of Stree, maybe they know and therefore calling her to meet his husband and take him away। Ritual wala scene is maybe stree telling her story when she become widow . This just my personal theory , excited to see what will exactly happen

But I think in this movie Shraddha is the villain or somewhat related to it because we can see her hair is signified in the teaser and the ghost attacking the females are also wrapped around with hair.... also, we don't have any idea for her character till now. And the character shown in the teaser is not a female ig, but a male in women's clothes. I guess that character is trying to find out the place or any clue about the ghost .

I think, As "O STREE KAL AANA" Character and Story is inspired from Sothern Indian Legend "Naale Baa", This "Headless Man" Legend also must have some Urban Legend Base, There are 2 that I can recall of: 1. Dow Hill of Kurseong, Darjiling. as Folklore go... People have spotted "Headless People" haunting woods and village 2. The headless ghost of Lothian cemetery Delhi, that of a British Officer Nicholas. as Folklore go... British officer named Nicholas fell in love in with an Indian woman, but shot himself in the head when he couldn’t marry her. Haunts the cemetery. Both can be found on internet, on newspaper articles May be "Sir Nicholas, Aka Nearly Headless Nick" as well was inspired by "Nicholas"... only if J. K. Rowling visited Delhi India back then... Who Knows... 🙂
