I watched american version and some clips from japanese and I knew that in both version have different ost, but today i listen this. That's a gold. I wonder why in some anime/movies are a different ost to region?
December 1994.....Japan only. The U.S. audience was treated with the JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME live action edition during the same time. Would have been nice to see the animated movie on the big screen....
No longer canon. Sagat won fair and square. He got the scar attempting to help young Ryu to his feet. The shotokan student sucker punched the Muay Thai Emperor with a shoryuken infused with the power of the Dark Hado. Today, Sagat can righteously draw upon that same residual energy through the scar and use it in battle.
its still canon though and Sagat is still a villain somewhat and that literally does not mean he won if right after he gets shoryukened causing him a cut releasing blood
@@alexanderavila8488 Nah, you're not keeping up with the canonical development of the stories and the character. Sagat is at best a hero, at worst an antihero and at face value an honorable and respected rival. Go watch the end sequences for his story in the games if you don't believe me. Beyond that, again, in the real continuity, the fight was over. You gain no points or honor succumbing to a demonic influence and inflicting a near fatal blow on an opponent who has dropped his guard and is attempting to help you in a spirit of peace and goodwill.
@@alexanderavila8488 I'm not following you... Attempting to assist a young challenger to his feet after soundly besting them in combat doesn't make a person a villain or even antihero though. If anything, at that particular moment, Ryu was the bad guy. For striking an honorable fighter in cold blood.
