Street Fighter 4 Tougeki 2010 Mago (Sagat) vs Momochi (Gouki) HD Super Battle Opera (SBO) Uploaded and recorded by me. Please subscribe for more videos in the future.
Damn! This is what you spend your money on. I love watch the mastery of the Japanese players. Neutral jumping every fireball, not allowing an easy upper. Very sturdy game play.
@mag77ut Super Street Fighter IV isn't in arcades yet, they'll are waiting for the "arcade version" to release them. That's why they play on consoles SSFIV (Xbox360).
@LeDeadCanDance These men take the game very seriously and many hold real life jobs and play competitively in their spare time. I wouldn't be surprised if Momochi came to SBO straight from work or even took the day off to attend it. On another note, Mago's weakness is that he isn't a clutch player. Look at the 1st and 2nd round, he was flawless. Then after one combo by Momochi, he started micalculating. I like Mago and Momochi equally so if either of them wins it I'd be happy.
Epic match. With 10 seconds of the first round left, Mago could not afford to get looped. Suppose the bait was a little obvious at this level when Momo could have closed out the round by executing anyway, but who knows what goes through the mind of either player at those moments. As round 2 showed, it had gotten Mago a little salty. Awesome finish, with a sick half-life loop from Momo.
@600baller I don't think he assumed to block...you didn't even understand what I said. The setup takes care of multiple situations, one of them being pokes. If he blocks, he's safe. Why do you constantly refuse to answer with exactly what move Mago is going to use to chip Momochi. Which move?
Yeah i agree man. I hope the bring out a version of sf4 where u can play every version that would be dope. Imagine Super guile vs vanilla sagat stuff like that would be cool.
@600baller Footsies involve characters quickly moving in and out of their poking ranges. In a sense, you can move out of range to bait kara dps that are done for the reasons I mentioned. In the case of Momochi, yes he was moving in and out of range, though when the kara dp was done, Momochi was crouching in place for about a second...looks like Mago misjudged the spacing, which is what I mentioned before.
@600baller Daigo vs. Mago at Daigo Kumite 2, but it gets blocked by Daigo. You know, I'm just not going to bother anymore seeing as how you can't seem to figure out how a kara dp from that range could be used to beat any pokes safely with meter.
The music is the same on the stages that were in vanilla, so are the voices, unless you mean the announcer in which case I'd agree. This version was the best because of less characters and the FB characters were strong, felt more like SF2.
@mohitoride I don't think he needed to gamble there. Maybe he was trying kara tiger upper into FADC for chip and he would have been super close even if it Momochi blocked it. Tournaments eh? One Mistake.
@600baller What? I didn't "mean something else", you just kept selectively misreading my post. It was stated very early in the comments what I was talking about, it was you that was constantly bringing up stand HK(and again, yes kara dp can counter a random stand HK, AS WELL AS ANY OTHER POKES AT THAT RANGE).
@600baller lol? Did you just make that up to hope that I take your word for it? Tell me again, what is he going to chip with? Momochi has didn't have that much low health to chip, not even with ultra.
@600baller lol your logic is so bad. The best explanation you have is "he's trying to chip" and "i don't know what mago was thinking". Again, explain what Mago is going to chip with when Momochi has about 10 pixels of chip left. The setup Mago used here is exactly the same (with the same purpose) as the one he did against Daigo in the Daigo Kumite 2, the only difference is that he didn't misspace it there.
not to sound gay here but momochi is such a kute name i like to call him momo but then i remember how quickly he could take me down from 100% to 0% (with a dizzy or two inbetween).
i was hopin mago would win, he still a beast with sagat, i am glad they gonna give sagat a bit more power again so he will pick sagat again so i can see more replays .... wh0000000t :P
FIREBALL FIREBALL,FIREBALL ,FIREBALL, FIREBALL,FIREBALL.............!OOOHHHH COMBO,COMBO,...COMBO...COMBOOOOO!!! and again : FIREBALL,FIREBALL,FIREBALL,..............ETC
@600baller Firstly, you haven't backed up your point at all, why do i need a video and you don't? Secondly, your reading is selective. I didn't even specifically mention Akuma stand HK, I mentioned ANY pokes from that range, stand HK being one of them. Learn the game kid and learn some common logic and reading skills. It's possible I'm just falling for another kid trolling me, who knows.
@600baller lol there's no need to go look for a video, it's common sense. If you're at a range where you would throw out ANY poke(whether it's stand HK, or crouch MK or whatever else), kara dp will beat it with no risk of guessing wrong (as long as you FADC). Obviously it's done when the opponent things their pokes are safe at that range when they are not. "Hardcore Sagat player" doesn't know something this basic?
hahaha hmmm maybe we need a sf3 remix version...hmmmm.....imagine if parry exist in here...i wonder if those fireball tactic will work......hmmm maybe i will be flooded by crazy sf4 fans soon thou.....i better be prepared lol...sorry if i hurt your feelings lol
By music I mean the cheesy menu music and by voice i mean announcer. The new announcer is just annoying as hell and same goes for the new menu music. Can't say I miss the Sagat Ryu dominance tho.
@600baller Unless you can justify your stupid claim that he was trying to chip (lol, he'd need atleast 10 hits or more to fully chip him), don't talk. You know nothing, this is a common technique Mago and other Sagats use to counter pokes and back/forth pacing from far away. Learn the game.
