The barrel hitting him did no damage, and actually made that level go faster; so it's as perfect as it can be. Plus all that matters is if the announcer says "Perfect" after every round, which he does.
I like how at 2:45, the barrel lands on Guile's head, and yet the barrel takes damage! Must be some gnarly hair gel that Guile uses....I'd definately buy that for a dollar.
Played this game enough times to know this was not set at the hardest level. A lot of the moves and combos would have been blocked. Still an accomplishment, but definitely false description.
Ken and Vega were oh so close to getting a hit on ya. I like your sonic boom combo attack, and your ability to grab players in mid air for a throw down.

Untouchables? What gives people? Found an SFIIWW in 2001 so buggy that when you picked Ehonda as P2 vs Guile, the fight was Guile vs Guile in the Sento, both able to pull invisibles, freeze, the works. It was the greatest 2P battle machine ever. Then one day it was gone. Anyone feeling that?

ok perfect all the bosses but i told u , play it at hardest level not at easy one, why dont u start the video while u show us how do u put the level hard? i mean, all the stars ? at the beginning?
You can charge in mid-air, or on the ground. Most people only know how to do it crouching. But you can also do it by holding it during a mid air attack, land, and then unleash it.
i have to applaud you thats the best guile ive ever seen.i play with guile on mvsc2.he is my avorite character but the funny thing is i can only play with him on that game."i have the BEST guile on the playstation network". anybody gotta problem with that, my screen name is turshin. we can battle.
vega most likely jumps and when he gets knocked to the ground he will try to back jump from you but you dont let him while hes down you jump foward in hes possition and prees medium or hard kick button and he will continue to fall down and trying to back jump after a few kick he will get dizzy giving you a change to throw him, suplex him or using any powerfull attacks but also hes attacks are strong with 3 kicks vega can beat you. Try not to get to close to him or he will suplex you and trying to attack him will result in a counter attack or if you use something like hadouken from far he could foward jump at you and when you try to punch/kick him he will chrouch and suplex you. Characters that can wall jump are the best in fighting vega like chun li while vega wall jumps at you you can use that to counter attack him with your wall jump kick. Ryu,Ken,Guile and Chun Liare the best players when fighting vega.
You wouldn't mind doing the Xbox Live achievement for Perfects on two rounds for me please! LOL! I play Super Turbo a lot but this I love the CPS1 Music! Great job on kicking some ass!
@sticker3d No clearly the barrel was headbutted by Guile, it dents afterwards as if hit itself. :-) Though Guile was surprised by the force of the barrel. That's all that was.
@vnalupta I agree with this, especially with the Bison statement. Regardless of the difficulty level, it's still hard to get a perfect when fighting against him. I know I could never do it and still can't. I'm amazed at how fast the player was able to use Guile's Flashkick at some points.
Yes, I have and I must say that there is nothing worse than a turtling Guile. I then figured out a strategy with Ryu by coaxing him into doing a flash kick after you knock'em down or a back (if he blocks your attack of course) by doing a jab shouryuken a short distance away from him and just out of range of the attack and he'll fall for it every time. Then when he comes down, throw a combo in his face.
pedantic people going on about a barrel. he perfected the bonus stage in question and the 2 other ones, perfected 24 rounds, only blocked in total 3 attacks through the entire thing and people piss and moan about a barrel. he lost no life bar check the vid. the description is accurate. still got 49 dislikes probably off people who get perfected by the cpu on 1 star. seriously give the guy some respect. sf2 was much tougher than sf4. not like he only sonic booms either some good combos too
Asian or not, I applaud your skills, but I have or HAD similar ability back in my day (I'm almost 36 now). It took a lot of practice and time playing against other elite competition which increased my skills greatly! Anyway, try this, throw a SLOW-Sonic Boom with the JAB button and walk behind it! If the block low then do the UPSIDE DOWN KICK via Roundhouse button, or you can throw them if they stay with the guard up! Used to love this cheap tactic with Guile!
This is NOT fake. I was watching the point total match to match and it's legit. On easy mode or not, it doesn't matter - this guy is GOOD! You can tell from his dizzy combos. Getting a perfect 2 rounds on MBison is still hard on any level.
Nice strat on Bison! If you fancy doing a score run on Guile, around 1.5m is possible but requires intensive luck manipulation. Uppercut trades with Chun Li's bird kick for up to 7 double KO rounds, ditto backfist/uppercut with Blanka ball or cr. RH with electricity, draws v Honda using cr. jab/ st. short as a keepout to his handslap strings canceled into sonic as required to chip life bars to even. Would do a video but my ancient Athlon XP rig can't hack recording.
Damn! I used to go to Playland near 42nd Street in NYC back in the day. I remember when people first began to do that 3 hit combo with guile; You make it look so easy! That said I would have been more impressed if you beat the whole game with all perfects without grabbing though.
Even though the player is playing the computer on very easy mode I must say he is excellent with performing triple and even quadriple combos with Guile!!!!
Fuck Ken and Ryu, Guile was the real deal in this game. Besides having the coolest looking moves, he had the coolest looking hairdo with that mile high flat top. xD Everybody at school was getting a flat top those days.
