I mean it neat story and nice cel 90s animation, but original is much better in game.

@@Majin-Boobs that's a mistranslation There is no shen long. Shen long in Chinese means dragon. Shoruyken means dragon punch in Japanese. But they share the same characters, so translatiors got confused. He's supposed to say exactly what the op said.

I heartily agree! It perfectly captures the spirit of Ryu's character. Perhaps it's because I had the SNES port and played it so much, but I prefer the way it sounds with the SNES sound pallette. The drums are much tighter sounding and it just has a more focused, intense vibe in my opinion.
SNES of Ryu theme is more like superhero theme, it make it funny doesn’t sound like Arcade or Genesis I just love listening to it and great for dance style

What I don't get, is why didn't they use THIS version for the Street fighter DLC Stage? It's much bettter than the one they used. (I hope someone hacks it in or something, and let me know when they do!)
They just went with the versions that were in the arcade. Having the SNES version would complicate things, it wouldn't be fair to include Street Fighter II's theme without Super Street Fighter II's theme on SNES. Or to have SNES versions of themes without Genesis versions. Plus including Ken's themes of all of those versions would cause a ridiculous saturation of all of those themes.
Well Acrade are original music not SNES and Genesis. All I can think Sony or Capcom used 3DO version to used in their system on PS1 and PS2 . All I can think is it was their decision or due to failure or just it that Nintendo or Sega own those music. The reason it couldn’t be exactly original because of the hardware limitations of that time in 90s than nowadays
