Some of the themes in this game like this one are just pure classics. Some of the best music ever for sure. No street fighter since has topped these they actually remix these because they know that too
Wow this music brings back memories, I was 14 when I used to play this, still have the SNES in the loft in an old Playstation box with about 5 games.... might have to get it out now!! BF3 will have to wait!!

Clearly the best version of his stage! Reminds me of playing SF2 Turbo on Snes in the 90's with a cold coke and casually blasting a few Hadoukens while I don't have to think about paying for bills and cars and crap that doesn't matter as much as this!
@Number1StarSB The megadrive version tried to be exactly like the arcade, which is admirable, but ultimately it sacrificed sound quality for authenticity. The SNES versions are like remixes done specifically to match the SNES's instruments and stuff, so although they're different, the production quality is understandably a lot higher.
I love this theme, but it doesn't feel right without the respective sound effects... **Round 1, FIGHT!** **Hadouken!** Forward jump + Fierce/Strong/Roundhouse combo _Ryu is dizzy_ Forward jump + another Fierce/Strong/Roundhouse combo, followed by HP _Ryu is dizzy a second time_ Forward Fierce (throw down) **YA!** **UAHHH UAHHH UAHHH!!!** **YOU WIN! PERFECT!** **Ha ha ha ha ha! Yatta!** *score counter plays* **Round 2, FIGHT!** *repeat above sound effects*
Am I the only person who's under 18 who grew up with this? My older sis had a super nintendo so I used to play this all the time. I still feel really young. Everyone else who's played this is around 25 and up xD
That's Right JAPAN! RYU not sure what his last name is I think it's Hoshi? his victory over Sagat that gave him that scar on his chest put RYU on the map! hehe! His stage looks so down to earth those rooftops and Dojo's Cool :)
Were there any difference in audio and instruments between the previous SNES port of Street Fighter II with THIS SNES port (Street Fighter II Turbo)...or were they the exact same in regards to audio and BGM instruments?
All of Capcom's CPS1 ports seemed to be based off the Final Fight SNES setup. Whereas everything CPS2 port related seemed to come from Mega Man X. Granted the music they did for CPS2 titles had a Mega Man X sound to it as well in the beginning so I guess it made sense for them to go that route on the SNES ports.
Already seeking the next challenge.. A ceremony means nothing to Ryu - "The FIGHT IS EVERYTHING!!" Well stated by a true Warrior RYU HOSHI or should be a motto much events :)
