I have massive respect for this channel going through the trouble of beating Gill as all the low tier characters, I can’t even get to the basket ball mini game as twelve.
I always feel like people lump Necro with all uninteresting weirdo characters just because he has an strange design, like when you compare Necro to someone like el fuerte you can tell Necro is more interesting as a character
Gill is a respectful villian, after defeating alex, except of that bwahahahaha and killing his enemy,he gave a new life and purpose to alex, insisting him on living and few time later he dominated and took control of everything. He really became the true ruler, thats how villuans should having clear goals and actually executing it.
That to me is what makes an interesting villain. Instead of the usual power hungry one, Gill rather has a different approach for his goal that is to gain followers by twisting / test their view of what is needed in the world. Both Bison / Vega and Gill are bad people objectively, but Gills method is just nasty since he tries to make his enemy his followers too by stringing their hearts who yearns for a purpose
@@yourbenevolentsaviorgill5547 yeah honestly villains with charisma are the most dangerous ones. Like if they are already powerfull then we are doomed, but with the added charisma they would even be able to twist everyone to the point people sooner or later would even justify the villains actions
@@ernestorio3550 i agree tho,but atleast comparing gill with urien gill actually would seem like a good guy, like urien basically traps and experiments on other people and also urien will even kill his brother for his own profit while gill has basically no beef urien,ig gill can be a good guy based on his ending like how he led everyone to his paradise,in summary gill is just an old fashioned dude who want rule everyone like a king,oh sorry like a god, just like the old days
3:16 Im looking through the comments and im surprised noone even bothered to mention this. But I honestly would be hesitant and even afriad to shake Dudely's hand. If this guy is willing to keep his boxing gloves on to use scissors to cut a rose, which by the way is impossible, I can only imagine that he never takes his gloves off for anything. Not to eat, not to drive, not for pull-ups, and for damn sure not to shower. So you can only imagine how many days, months, years etc. of crumby sweat, dirt and grime has been built up in those gloves. I dont care how much of a gentleman he seems to be on the outside, he isn't remotely close of a gentleman when he comes to proper hygiene. I willing to bet any amount of money that the day he takes those gloves off, the smell would be so fucking rancid and foul that he would bring a whole new meaning to the term "knockout king".
how dare you. sure he wears them almost all the time but he washes his hands AND gloves throughly after doing litterary anything. hes the cleanest and most pleasanly smelling fella youll ever meet
What if Twelve had become Nash in his ending? It is stated that Nash in SFV was gathering fighting data for Twelve, so maybe they placed Nash's mind into Twelve when they made him self-aware. A good way to bring back Charlie, again.
@@luislopez-yn3st late reply, but are you talking about his Second Impact ending? Because Hugo has multiple endings which change who his tag team partner is. Aside from Ryu, Hugo may choose either Elena, Gill or Necro as his partner.
Sean got knocked out so hard that he freakin' day dreamed about he won the fight ROFL Bruuuh. If he was sparing with Asura, he won't be even alive. If he at least survive, He won't wake up till 3 months. XD
Gill's ending isn't that bad, i mean, the guy was a villain of course, but more an anti-villain, the guy at the end of the day had good intentions, only evil execution
This is all in the future. This all happens after Street Fighter 5. To those who don't know, the chronological timeline of Street Fighter is: - Street Fighter 1 - Street Fighter Alpha - Street Fighter 2 - Street Fighter 4 - Street Fighter 5 - Street Fighter 3 After Street Fighter 3, the chronological story then proceeds to Street Fighter 6.
12:38 C'mon, we all know that Remy is Guile's wild oats while he was stationed overseas. I just hope that girl in the ice cube isn't his firstborn daughter Amy. He DID run out on his family after all.
I thought about it for a while, and the things he said about his father... abandoned his family, gave up everything for the fight... fit _Nash's_ profile a lot better. Too bad Capcom had to bring him back and effectively sweep this little branch under the rug.
0:38 Akuma 1:27 Alex 2:23 Chun Li 3:07 Dudley 3:47 Elena 4:31 Gil 5:38 Hugo 6:33 Ibuki 7:25 Ken 8:21 Makoto 9:22 Necro 10:22 Oro 11:10 Q 12:23 Remy 13:20 Ryu 13:58 Sean 14:49 Twelve 15:47 Urien 16:38 Yang 17:44 Yun
happy 25th anniversary street fighter 3 3rd strike!!!(love chun li,elena, makoto & hugo's ending with him/poison bringing the entire roster to wrestle with them that i'd love to see if the 2 end up in 6.:3)
If Urien's ending ends up being canon, or at least partly canon, I think Urien can have potential of being the next villain in Street Fighter 6. After Gill was defeated by Alex, Gill went to recover and Urien took advantage of the situation and killed him while he was still recovering and took his place as the new leader of the Illuminati.
I agree ryu is the maskot of Street fighter for those who say chun li or guile are the main characters we kind of but no ryu is the true main character hes been there since the first street fighter.
@@phil4863 Gameplay wise yeah, otherwise; he's like the complete opposite of guile. And that doesn't mean they can't flesh him out to be his own, just like Ken.
The melancholy ending theme fits amazingly with Gill's ending. Even though he ended the heroes' plans, is trying to save the world rather than destroy.
Man, Ibuki got finessed. Was that guy a plant from her ninja village, or was it just fate forcing her into the way of the ninja? Edit: The Street Fighter wiki claims that Sarusuberi University has some connection with her ninja village, so I guess that guy was hired to keep her (and any other kunoichi they sent) from slacking off too much.
Yeah - Makoto’s basically a girl who was down on her luck ever since her father died. However, she persevered and tried to find ways to bring some life back into her father’s old dojo. As a result, when she found out S.I.N. was hosting a tournament, she joined and actually became the champion… only to not get the prize money due to Juri’s revenge scheme on Seth killing the latter. Later on, Gill hosted a tournament and Makoto beat him, which in turn made the Rindo-kan dojo popular again.
Damn Remy's ending is sad no wonder he's so edgy. It would be funny if he came back though since he wouldn't be as edgy after seeing the light. Necro's ending was so sweet, I didn't know he hated his body since he's got such a laid back attitude. Wish Dudley's ending wasnt so bad 😢 And was that Gill's ending where he just becomes Moses? 😂
IMO most of them add no story context to them...and I get that this was sorta the "end" of the series at one point but they could have somehow given more characters comprehensive endings instead of foreboding cliffhangers
@@robertflannery4883 Well, it’s very simple really - it’s basically Remy just deciding to pull a Seto Kaiba, accept that what happened in the past stays there, and move on in life. Considering how Remy was based off of Iori Yagami (who still hasn’t had a happy ending yet due to all the shit he has to go through), it’s a very beautiful ending IMO.
Remy's ending is _so_ bizarre. Even after reading his background I'm still confused. Is this Street Fighter or a 14-year-old emo kid's diary? More questions than answers, the main one being WTF?
