It was okay accept the part where his mother is drawn as a white woman when Brazilians mainly have brown or dark brown skin. This is also a theme with many back ground characters like in Thai land stage or Blanka's stage etc. Not a shot at the game or to bring racism in it but with Blanka's ending it was so noticeable.
I love that kind of ending in fighting games. The final boss is knock out on the floor by the character you play as and the character tease it or look at him, is the best.
Sagat’s ending here is deep because it explains how he left shadaloo prior to street fighter 4 and in SV5, he empathizes with Ryu’s internal conflict after dark hadou tried to possess Sagat for finding his “Way of the Warrior.”
guiles ending feels so weird in this version. i liked his family rushing over while he was choking bison to convince him not to kill bison. then at the end shot, he's at charle's grave
It's canon point...Eliza and Julia are sisters which means Ken and Guile are brothers-in-law although Ken can tolerate Guile, the same can't be said for Guile, even though Guile has great respect towards Ryu...
So here's what I believe is the most plausible possibility concerning the canonicity of the Second World Warrior Tournament: quite a few fighters made it to the semi-finals, it's likely that in the final round of the semi-finals, the tournament got interrupted by M. Bison's usual take over the world scheme. Chun-Li and Cammy abandon the tournament to try to take down the rest of Shadoloo, while Guile and Ken are most likely the ones trying to fight off Bison. Mid-battle, Ken gets brainwashed and has to fight Ryu and probably wins, then Ken proceeds to finish off Bison while he's on his rampage right before he snaps out of it, which would place him as the tournament's champion, seeing as how he only vowed to marry Eliza after he had defeated Ryu. After some of the characters interrogate Bison, Akuma seemingly kills Bison, Ryu holds Akuma off, Akuma leaves, hence the tournament ends. Anyone else have any other theories?
after seeing urs, my theory is Ken defeated Ryu in the final, winning the competition, but M Bison descended and defeated and brainwashed the winner, Ken. After that, Chun li, guile and cammy challenged bison, while the rest of the good fighters fought Sagat, Balrog and Vega. At this time, Ryu also unleashed his true power and defeated the power upped Psycho Evil Ken, awakening him. Then, the good fighters seemingly defeated Shadaloo, with Chun and Guile seemingly taken revenge. But when Bison wanna begin his counter attack, Akuma finally shows up n fucked him up. Ryu, after defeating n saved Ken, went on to take on Akuma.
Plausible except for Ryu being able to hold off Akuma on his own. Akuma is far too powerful for Ryu to hold off by himself. Even him and Ken together wouldn’t be able to stop him.
One can only wonder why Capcom gave Chun-Li _TWO_ endings back when they made Super Street Fighter II X: Grand Master Challenge. (a.k.a. Super Street Fighter II Turbo.) I mean I know she was given a new ending in The New Challengers, so I can only hazard a guess that it may have been to appease fans of the original Street Fighter II games (pre-"Super", that is) who became attached to Chun-Li's original ending. (Or were just overly purist. *_*pfft!*_* Damn purists.)
Cammy's ending confuses me, she clearly a blond caucasian woman if she from Bison DNA, Bison looks ethnic looking someone half white/ non european could be asian, latino )
during thawk's ending I one of the native Americans in the background looks like Julia chang from tekken, aslo doesnt thawk claim to have a gf named julia
what capcom should've did is instead of making evil ryu a what if character, evil ryu's story line should've been canon but set in an alternate story line(timeline) where after killing shin akuma in alpha 3,evil ryu becomes the supreme master of the fist becoming the new akuma/gouki. sf2 or sf4 should've had evil ryu's story picking up where that left off with him wearing shin akuma's beads, with him seeking the world to challenge strong opponents. hell they could've done a twist that reveals that the akuma we known of in the main street fighter story line was evil ryu,all along but from a different dimension. I like that concept better than the oh he's the brother of ryu's teacher(gouken) and the whole star wars copy cat story.,and I for sure don't believe that he's ryu's father either.
Street Fighter always has flimsy, lazy and erroneous plots. My story in the Street Tournament II was far more than what my ending shows. I even joined forces with other competitors like Chun Li, Guile, Cammy and even Ryu to thwart Bison's plans on World Domination! But all they show in SFII was the best part of my personal life instead of the non-stop action that I went through.
@@dorianjames3202 Capcom is good with the plots of other games. But with SF, it's like it was made by a boarding room of Japanese creative directors who keep arguing over their own sides of the plots, while getting less inspired and more stressed out as the games evolve. There is way too many plot holes, continuity errors, flimsy retcons, generic dialogues and cutscenes, lame English dubs, non-sequel sequels (editions), over-sexualized female fighters, and bare-boned backstories.
brunobelz In the Japanese version of the Street Fighter II games, it was Julia. In Ultra Street Fighter II The Final Challengers, it brings back the original name.
Fun fact: Gaku Space played young Akuma in SF: Assassins fist. I made a comment on one of his videos asking if he had any personal connection to the character and he mentioned he relates to having a sibling rivalry
Cristian Medina Hah,hater ,Street Fighter is alive , it's not our problem that you are a nostalgic dumbass, oh and by the way ,3rd strike is bullshit ,every game before and after of it is waaaayyy better than 3rd Strike
Cristian Medina well , you have to try them out , i mean , Capcom vs Snk 2,Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Ultra Street Fighter 4 are awesome games in my opinion and Street Fighter 5 arcade edition looks pretty good ,you just have to try them out and not judge them by the looks ;)
Third Strike is good, but Ultra Street Fighter 4 still has a lot to it, far from dead gameplay wise. But these endings? Just HD rehashes of Super Turbo HD (and some even just Super).
