Shot out to desk but respectfully I think they do different things . Desk is def on of the best lab monster , combo video content creators out there but that fact that smug is doing this in game often in competition sets him apart from a lot of other people in the fgc . Not saying desk couldn’t compete or anything like that just saying it’s different doing it mid match then in practice mode . Not taking anything away from desk
I'd be down for Necro coming back for SF6, or any of the other underexposed characters from 6. I always hear people claim Dhalsim or Blanka make him redundant, but tbh even without keeping in mind how much SF6 has been willing to alter or reimagine returning characters to look very different from how they were, on a basic level if we can have Ryu and Ken and Akuma and - let's face it - probably at least one other in that crew like Sakura or Dan or whoever in a single game, we can have two characters with stretchy limbs or electricity.
I must of spent hundreds of hours playing SF New Generation at my local arcade learning Dudley Combos 😂 easily my favorite Character in SFIII 🥊🙌🏻 SF4 Balrog was my Main … I can’t wait for SF6 to release a Boxer/Balrog ❤

Smug is getting good in 3s cuz he practices parrying, but more importantly, like all the good players, he will punish with the hardest hitting thing possible. Also, jm, if ur gonna use necro against smug, u might as well bring electric storm SA1, cuz u are not parrying or anti airing the jump ins.
I think Necro probably won’t come back. Only because SF6 is trying to be more realistic looking and feeling; not really cartoon like at all. Also he has competition with Dhalsim, and they’re not replacing Dhalsim. Apologies to any Necro fans, all 7 of you.
