I can't believe I've never seen / heard of this game. I'm a boomer millennial who saw the movie, played 2, 2T, 3S etc. but I never knew there was a game named after the movie. Maybe I was blessed.
Growing up I had there was a guy in my hood he was much older and good on computers he used to be able to duplicate PS1 games and get overseas game not available in Canada like (Tomba 1,2) and he also had this one he was selling them 5$ of course I had this one I had close to 150 PS1 game he was also giving some free to try them
The arcade and home versions were different though. The arcade game was developed by Incredible Technologies, while Capcom handled the home console version themselves.
Yeah, Capcom Sound Team laid down some unironic BANGERS in this game. Few of the tracks actually fit the fighters, but they'd be dope for like a Final Fight game or something. I wish Capcom could bring the tracks back for Street Fighter 6, but I doubt it.
@@mrryanthai Console version of The Movie is just Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo without the Turbo feat. Sawada still better than the arcade version which isn't made by capcom but from the same makers of Time Killers and Bloodstorm
Knew this game existed back in the day but never got a chance to play it, was it any good? A video game based on a movie based on a video game, how about that?
We need a new modern fighting game that uses actual people. I could see a video game based on the actual actors from DCEU and MCU with movie based stages to fight on
This sounds and plays completely different from the arcade version despite looking the same. Love the music and voice acting they did for this version! I don't think Guile had his iconic upside down kick in the arcade version. The arcade game played similar to SF2 but not quite. This looks like they literally just reskinned SF2 which I don't mind at all.
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo was actually used as a base for this game. It was developed by Capcom as well and is surprisingly decent if you look beyond the graphics. This game has nothing to do with awful arcade game that has the same name.
Mortal Kombat originally created to have JCVD as a main character which didn't worked out that's why Johnny Cage => Street Fighter The Movie gets made with JCVD as a main character for Gulie => Street Fighter The Movie video game gets made which was made similar to original Mortal Kombat and having JCVD as Gulie sprites => Mortal Kombat 1 JCVD as a skin for Johnny Cage. Win. 😊
Boa tarde baixei umas versões de Arcade é do game sós consoles domésticos do #saturno é do #ps1 adoro o filme é game tenho p dvd original mais estou sem o aparece #dvd sou de #manaós
He can be fought only in street battle. Requirements are: - difficulty 5-8 stars - No losing at all - No continuing at all - reach 700.000 points (get perfects, and don't finish with chip damages while using super finishes)
No, the game Capcom made based on the arcade game based on the movie based on the game. This was Capcom seeing how terrible the arcade game is and desperately taking the digitized sprites, "editing" a lot of them, and slapping them in a slowed down version of Super Turbo.
I reckon it would of been a lot cooler if they had the bloody results of each fighter at the fight result screen like in SFII, instead of just a greyed out generic image. Pretty lame I must say.
