The 4hr addition to wash time was probably caused by incidentally clicking the drying button. The dry indicator on the left side of display was also on after that.
Hiya buddy! For the noise check the weights or condensing or dryer system! For the lock the locking bit in the lock is worn out therefore it says it’s locked (which the actual lock is) but it’s not keeping door latch in locking position! Lock needs replacing! Hope I helped!!!
@@bootsowen should be able to find a door lock easily of a hoover candy machine! Any lock that looks similar and off a hoover candy machine should fit no problem! Glad I could be of some help!
interesting machine. certainly a faulty door lock for not locking, had the same thing happen on my beko where the machine isn't aware that the lock isn't working. im thinking the knocking is suspension-related, due to how consistent it is across all speeds. i can say from experience with an old hotpoint, a loose dryer box or weight, for example, is nowhere near that consistent with the drum speed. as it gets faster the knocking would be completely desynced from the drum's rotational speed. and since the noise happens even on a fairly well-balanced distribution, im even more doubtful of loose components, as that usually won't start knocking until it actually begins spinning. even in severe cases like with my hotpoint. another option is the drum spider. if it's knocking while spinning empty as well, then that's likely the culprit. hope this makes sense.
I think it's the suspension or something that could be stuck in drum like money or maybe the spider is starting to corrode I also think this is a rebadged candy washer
Timer fault for starters - im wondering because way it looks if its Hoover/Candy programmed it seems like it might be... the strange ramp up spin boosts defo what candy/hoovers do when going wrong.. timer, pcb fault. the door lock is the big indicator the PCB is not working.. but how the board thinks the door is locked is so bizzare!
Very new machine as its got the new eco 40 60 cycles noise may be suspension or concrete weights as doe the door lock may be broken but in other words handy lol if u forget an item 😂😂😂
Check the elements for earth leaks can cause the machine to do stupid things this is a hoover made machine for the noise id check the weights haven't come lose 👍
THIS MACHINE WORKS VERY WELL AND DRYS THE WORK SHOP RAGS WHY WOULD SOMEONE LEAVE IT ON THE STREET AND WHY DOES IT SMELL LIKE SCIGRETTS WHEN THE TEMPUTURE IS HOT ON THE PROGRAM AND THIS MACHINE HAS A DOOR NOT LOCKED AND OPENS WHILE ITS WASHING AND DRYING THE WORK SHOP RAGS
The drum was moving up and down on the final spin, and whilst drying, yet the main unit wasn't... that's a sign of spider failure aside the clinking. Very unusual but entertaining that it operated with the door unlocked
