Each episode has a story to tell besides their amazing food dishes! I especially loved the Bangkok, Thailand and Osaka, Japan episodes! Jay Fai 72 years old woman that received a Michelin star for her cooking just Wow.! Or Toyo who is a lovely old joking guy with a sad past! I ve been to Japan (born in Tokio as a German) and India where my parents lived in Chennai Madras for 4 years but never in Thailand, Indonesia,, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Philippines or even Singapore!

I love to travel, not travel you may think like goin abroad. Just goin around my neighbourhood. Looking for _a hidden gem_ like local street foods. They hold the authenticity of the culinary heritage. Some even hold until more than 5 generations and still goin for more, and they still hold their tradition. And luckily, I stayed in Bandung, Indonesia 🇮🇩 there are lots of street foods around that maybe even for 10 years ahead, even I spend each day to taste each food won't be enough. There's so much to choose. In every corner of the street, back alleys, sometimes inside of a common house, that you won't recognise they sell food if you don't ask. They served the food with different time of the day. Some sell at the morning, some start after the work hours. And most of them sell at the night time, where people already get leisure at looking for dinner, or midnight food, to eat and hang out at the outside or take away. And Netflix, thank you to create this video, it help them to introduce their foods for a marketplace at bigger scale. 👏😊

The passion she feels for food and her work ethic is incredible. Woman is 73 years old and cooks every single dish herself because she aims for perfection and the fact that she elevates street food to such levels and not only creates dishes herself, but also improves dishes which are a stable of Thai cousine is what granted her, a street vendor, a michelin star.

Did anyone find it irritating to hear the English voice-over when the people were speaking? I could've sworn I didn't notice it that badly this morning.

Yeah yesterday i could watch the serie without the voice over. But today i wanted to watch another episode and they ruined it with the stupid voice over!

If you're watching on Netflix, you should be able to turn that off and just put on subs. I haven't heard any annoying voice-over yet.

Just watch the show with English subtitles and leave the country language audio. That English narration was bloody awful. She talked right as the street food vendor began to talk in there own language...

I think this will be an amazing film. I love seeing the culture and the love of food in places that don't have much to offer but the food will always taste rich😍
