Wasn't the night I was hoping for but still had fun. Raced against my father in round one. I told him I thought I could beat his new car, he came out to prove me wrong! 😃 I knew the second round would be tough because I've raced Matt and his Civic before and barely beat him. As is my car's worst weakness, I got a terrible start. Nothing but wheel spin off the line. I knew I was in trouble when I didn't clear him exiting turn 2 and that I'd need to pull off something big to stay with him in 3 and 4. I drove in just a bit too hard and the front tires wouldn't hold. Win or lose, I love good competition like that! Car is still in one piece so I'll wait till the next one and try again! As always, thank you for doing what you do, we all appreciate it very much!!!!
Not 4wd? Are you sure? I don't think anyone can launch that hard with a rwd truck and still hook up. If you are right about that, then it's even more amazing.
Never give up ! Somebody has to line up next to these heavy hitters most people don’t want to. I would rather lose trying to beat fast cars than have to beat up on first timers . Plus I can’t run my Monte cause of the tire rules .

your videos are the ultimate case in point of the argument that fast cars will always lose when its driven by a shitty driver and slow cars always have a good chance to win if it has a good driver ..awesome video as always :P)
This is so good for cars that can handle.Im sure it looks easy but if you have to much ego or pride I can deff see people pressing to hard and spinning out.Gotta have self control and push the car at the same time deff some pretty good drivers their.This was so fascinating to watch
cellphone carcontent it does take a good amount of car control. You also have to be willing to take chances. It's a ton of fun though, I love doing it!
What's the fastest top speed anyone ever got on that track as far as the streetcars. I was just curious by the way. And great job at video taping, keep doing what you're doing your quality shows.
Carbon Video Seems like a pretty large track. We'll wait and see in the comments I'm sure somebody will read this and give us a clue. I saw the damage when they hit the wall though so they got to be moving pretty fast. Thanks again.
N8 the GR8 we basically decide that ourselves by how we line up in the pits. When we get down to the final two, we do a coin toss and the winner gets lane choice. The inside is definitely an advantage but doesn't always determine the winner.
Remember this racers take it from someone that's been racing since the 70s never I mean never ever ever never ever warm up street tires you will notice that every person that rolled the smoke on their street tires lost street tires are not meant to get hot for traction those are only race car tires that do that. just in case you didn't hear me the first time never never never ever never ever roast street tires before a race. You just learned that from a national champion race car driver.

So many times I see them brake torquing at the line and spinning them tires slow. They always lose. The Camaro SS would kill that Subaru if the kid knew how to drive.
Robert Hill - I know it is. He was also up against a pretty good driver whom also had the inside line. I also own a white GTI and was excited to see it race. Not so excited to see it get dusted off the line! You, however, put up a nice run against him (if that was you in the mustang). Too bad they don't run all the races like the finals because I think you would have had him on the inside, but that would take all night. Looks like fun!
Yes, that's me in the Mustang. This was the second time I raced against Matt in his Civic. I won the first time but it was a photo finish! That little car is fast!

As long as the Turbo Vette Kart isnt involved I am watching Otherwise he proves to us why rules must exist. He built a custom cart tailored to that exact race. Unfair advantage and someone should take him out. Send him into the wall he makes the races not fun.
@J P Silverado SS from 03-04 were AWD. Every Denali Sierra, Denali Yukon and every Escalade since the early 2000s has been available with AWD. 07-09 Tahoe LTZ with the 6.2 was available with AWD, and i think some 07-09 Silverados with the 6.2 were AWD..... not to be confused with the 6.0 VHO or VMAX that was 2wd or 4wd. My 07 Yukon Denali is AWD. Do some research before sticking your foot in your mouth and telling people who know practically everything about their trucks they're wrong.
