I saw something about that too. I'd think based on Seekonk's rules that if those tires qualify at Seekonk they should qualify at Oxford too.

I would think the same, if they say DOT approved then they should be good to go, and they past his car to go out there...why did they fail it after the race?? Oxford back at there old tricks again lol

Ramsay, they banned these tires from future races, but they are DOT legal 100 tread wear. The competition at this track is pretty weak, he would win on all season tires...

I can't find any official rules from Oxford other than "street legal" with a valid inspection sticker.

Rob Fox fortunately for me, the guy in the BMW had never done this before. He slipped coming off turn two then again in turn three. That allowed me to get along side then I was able to carry the momentum to the line. Was a fun race for sure! My car felt a bit unstable in the turns that day. I figured out why a few days later when my rear sway bar broke in two!
